Please mamas that hsd a CS come to my aid o. I am having an unbearable knee pain. First I was enduring o. Its getting difficult to stand up esp at night. Any ideas?

it is not normal. My daughter was behaving so sometimes ago and when we sought medical advice, she was diagnosed of pneumonia. Her chest was congested and so she cud not breath. She had to use her mouth and infact everything u described.
My advice: please see a doctor as a matter of urgency.

Doctor said its normal. That it is cos of regurgitation. Actually it has happened a couple of times.

E dey shack person. When my lo was very young, if he makes small noise, I wil rush to carry him. They warned me to let him cry a bit, I will say lai lai. Now e, that I'm alone, he doesn't allow me to drop him. He like hands,. Though, he is changing now but I suffered sha.

So, what they are saying is don't always carry her. Let her be in her cot unless she is being fed.

So if baby is nt sleeping baby is eating. Na wa o. When will you and baby bond.and play. Only when feeding abi.
Still u wld not know if your baby is just a natural clinger. Its cos u were always carrying so u may think its your fault.
Oya if he does not allow u drop him back him . He will soon grow and you would wish you carried him more

Say if baby gets used to my hand its nt gd. I am spoiling her frm small. Please if my baby doesnt get attached to me who will?

Please oh what is this thing ppl r always saying. Each time de see me ccarrying my baby de wld say stop o u will suffer she will get used to hand. Abeg if I dont carry baby on hand where will I?

Der is a special shampoo for babies o to handle deir delicate skin

Absolutely normal. They breathe faster than adults, and go through different sleep cycles. No need to double-upon clothing if the baby isn't showing signs of cold.

Lovinam is right pls. It's dangerous but most mothers wud tell u their babies sleep more and longer on their tummy. Even d side sef I really don't buy it too cos if dd baby is like mine that started rolling at 1week then b4 u kno it, d baby wud be on his/her tummy.

Just keep placing ur baby on her back or side if she is not d rolling type yet and she ll eventually get use to it. I made sure my son slept on his back till 5months when he cud now roll from front to back and back to front.

So just keep trying dear she ll get use to it

My baby started turning first week too. I was scared o. She could be sleeping on her tummy but once I turn her that will be the end of the sleep o. I will keep trying so she gets used to it.
My baby rolls. Infact she slides. U wld keep her at point A and find her at point F. Lol

Well done mama. As u can see frm oda posts, oda mamas' babies also experience it. Its completely normal. As long as there s no active catarrh and she s nt coughing. Their respiratory rate s much higher dan ours. As she develops, it gets better. No need to worry at all. Cheers.

Stop! Stop! Stop! You can only do that during the day when you are monitoring her. Its not safe, docs have advised we stop doing it. It can cause SIDS( sudden infant death). Baby can also choke on her bedsheet and u won't even know. Lay her on her side

If I lie my baby on her side she doesnt sleep for long o. The thing de weak ma bori

Each time I hear my baby's breath its as if she has cattarh that is blocking her nose. But there is no cattarh
Den as if she is snoring. Sometimes also when she is sleeping she breathes as if someone is pursuing her. Do I need to be worried.Tho I am o.
She also breathe with her mouth open as if nose is blocked

Honestly I dont know. I never went into labor. I had a planned CS.

Want to ask about breast pads. I bough Avent disposable (6 in a park) but I realised that it is probably not absorbentenough for me or maybe I am the one leaking too much. My bra and cloth still gets wet and I mean super wet on the other breast once my baby is sucking. This is highly embarrassing especially now that I have started going out.

Any suggestions as to good breast pads? I have not tried the disposables though cos I think its an expensive option in the long run.

A friend advised that I put pressure on the second breast, it hasn't stopped serious leaking the few times I tried it.

Pls I need advice o

I use tommy tipee disposable pads. Applying pressure using d opp hand also works for me

*Learnt I can't do hot-water massage cos of d internal injury, how do I get my tummy down, some people advised that I should take dry gin n eat lots of spicy stuff, drink hot water.
*, I was told I can wear girdle or tie d tummy with cloth.

Are all these true? Did u try any of d methods and did it work or what worked for ur tummy? Am 4 wks post CS and I can't see a difference in my tummy size.*Also, how many months did it take to resume sex.Tx

It's been 3 weeks . I just saw my doct yesterday he said I healed so perfectly nd I can go about my normal life. I shld feel free to kpekus. Hr said I can start tummy exercise. My tummy went back flat o without exercise. But now dat I am drinking plenty kunu d tummy is getting big. I think body types vary. Listen to your body. Den do light exercise. Breastfeeding helps with d tummy too

Gd day mamas, I nd help o, I'm in my 29th week & has bn experiencing a kind of blocking in my throat wit no Pains, as if all my food stays in my throat & don't digest, I dt hv heartburn, pls what cld be wrong? Apples helped me alot. I hv dem on empty stomsch bf eating. Not d apples dst r like garri o. D ones dsy hv water nd r crunchy

If u do all that has been said and it's still there then it's yeast infection diaper rash or candida diaper rash and normal diaper rash cream won't solve it. The treatment has to be done with antifungal cream containing atleast clotrimazole (so my paediatrician friend said)

My son had it at one month and I thought it was normal diaper rash. I used different kinds of diaper rash cream but none worked. A paediatrician friend recommended mycoten cream that. I should apply it at every diaper change for 3-5days. This I did and after two days d redness was gone. I used it till d 3rd day afterwhich I switched to sudocrem.

I guess it's diaper rash. Always make sure to change his diaper on time and clean him with d wipe very well. For me I use wipes for urine, for poop I use wipes too but wash after usin d wipe, dry then use sudocrem.

Wat do u use to clean d poo? Water or wipes? Ao often do ur baby poo? Ao soon do u change d diaper ffling a poo? It's a skin reaction. Wat do u use for d bum? Pls ensure d clean d baby well, apply sumtin to d bum b4 wearing aanoda diaper, if u use water, dry well and apply sudocrem or shea butter b4 diaper. Hope diss helpss

I use wipes. She poos like 3 times a day. But urinates often. I change her nt less dan 4 times a day. I use sudo cream and power. Pld nurse kaffy lemme hv ur email so u can c d pix of d reaction. God bless u

Please I just noticed a redness on two side of my baby's anus. Not on d hole just side bear d hole. Sorry if its tmi. Should I be worried?

I never itched my tumny no matter how much it was itchy. I got bio oil, ori, olive oil. I rub morn and night. I stay hydrated. Infact the amt of swan water I drank while preg fit open factory. Yet I had giant black stretch marks. Only for me to look at my tummy after delivery and the black marks were gone but anoda type of stretch marks all over my tummy.
Now I even wish I enjoyed d scratching. Lol.

Do what u can but if d stretch marks hv come don't stress. The joy of seeing my baby no de make me remember stretch marks

Different strokes for different folks. Pap works great for me. Some ppl tea does d magic. Try taking pap with honey. That's how I take it. Take a lot.drink.like water ,d rest well. U can take egusi. Infact prepare it with ogiri. It also helps with colic. Still ate it last nyt with semo mayb that's y my baby wants to suck out all my breast tissues sef. U can also put egusi in ur ewedu
