Thanks all. Seriously in my life I hv never taken any malaria drug nd not reacted badly. With Coartem I dont even remember am treating malaria. Abi na my baby de give me strength .

Its not always easy putting it in their eyes but u jst hv to try wit patience. Pls mk sure ur hands r clean, then put ur nipples close to d eyes nd press d milk inside it. U can do it 3x in a day nd u will see a clear result.

Anyways, different hospital wt different practice. D first immunization we were still at the hospital when my baby was given and it was d matron hersef dt ordered d staff nurses to gv d babies pcm. At d 6wks appointment too, immediately after the shot d matron will tell you to gv pcm.
Wetin d nurse cm say mk u gv d baby... What does she mean by "u
know what to do"

My baby was not given pcm for first immunization. I think she meant give pcm but no b she tell us. U know say new things everyday. Just like de discourage use of gripe water

Oh pls don't wait till d body gets hot before you give d pcm. Gv it immediately after the injection or immediately u get home. And u might even have to repeat it if/when fever sets in. Some nurses will say gv baby thrice daily after d injection.
With my baby, he developed fever within 24hrs but it receded within 48hrs.

The nurse specifically said mothers I am noy saying u should give pcm o. But depending on ir baby's reaction u know what to do
So I was wondering if the pcm can be avoided. Please do u give pcm for all immunizations. Does it include first immunization. Bcg hep b

I don't think it's related to d CS, get a knee guard to help support the knee, maybe you added some weight and the pressure is on your knee. Or you sprained it without knowing.
Wear the knee guard always, even when sleeping. If no progress, see your doctor

When did this start? Was it immediately after the CS? Is it just the knee or your calf and thighs too?
Me thinks it's unrelated to ur CS, but if it truly unbearable, u need to complain to your doc o, so that you don't self medicate or ignore an important warning sign
