Religion / MFM Daily Devotional 3 September 2020 – Confront And Conquer by MzDammielite20(f): 6:40am On Sep 03, 2020
God is in search of firebrand believers today! Such men and women are needed to showcase the wonders of God. If you want to be one of such believers, you need to tarry longer at the altar of prayer. You must get hold of the horns of the altar and refuse to let them go. You must be prepared to pursue the enemy by aggressive prayer and by appropriating the blood of Jesus. You must be so spiritually emboldened as to be able to pursue your enemies and overcome them. You must be well endued by the power of the Holy Spirit to be victorious over your enemies. The enemies should be running away from you, not you running away from them. In one word, you should stand up to be counted among the firebrand believers that God needs to disgrace the devil.

Open Heaven 3 September 2020 – The Acceptable Offering

For example, if you have a person who is possessed in your place of work, he should be the one avoiding you and not you avoiding him. David pursued his enemies until they were destroyed and consumed. He did not rest until his enemies were destroyed. A lot of us are comfortably cohabiting with the enemy. But if you are wearing your full spiritual armor, the enemy should be running away from you.

A certain pastor came to me complaining that his church was not growing. He complained that so and so were disturbing him. I simply told him that his problem was because he ...

Religion / The School Of Destiny – Pastor D.K Olukoya by MzDammielite20(f): 9:38am On Sep 02, 2020
TOPIC: The School Of Destiny.

Text: EXODUS 10:7-10, ECCLESIASTES 12:1, JOHN 18:37, EPHESIANS 1:5, 1 PETER 5:8

In this session, I want to take you through what I call ‘the school of destiny’ and I am going to ask you; to please concentrate and pay attention because this is the kind of message the enemy does not want young ones to listen to. God bless you in Jesus name!

Exodus 10:7-10

There is a carefully planned and well-articulated conspiracy against the youth of the generation. Please, I want you to listen to me well. Unless there is divine intervention, the youth of this generation is finished. The enemy has constructed a careful plan to destroy the youths of this generation.

The lamentable tragedy is that the enemy is having a huge success in his agenda of the destruction of the youths. Many youths have been destroyed day and night, many youths are even dying before their time.

MFM Daily Devotional 2 September 2020 – Timeless Testimonies

After the children of Israel have been in bondage under the king of Egypt for several years, Pharaoh made a strategic decision; he now begin to kill children. One would have thought that he will kill the adult, but ‘no’; he did not. Rather, he got the mid wives to destroy children and cast them into river nile. He took this decision because the old men are not a threat to him. The old men are not a threat to satan. Satan knows that if he killed the old men; he wouldn’t have achieved much. Satan knows that his agenda can only be carried out by the young and not by the aged men and women. This is a serious thing to deliberate upon and pharaoh knew this one so he took a strategic decision to slaughter them.

If you read your bible and go into the new testament, the wise men saw the star of Jesus and they came to worship the baby. When Herod heard, what did he do? He issued a decree that children from 2 years and below must be destroyed, he started to kill children and this was a very strategic decision.

He (Pharaoh) already knew that the productive generation was the generation that he was asking to retain.

The generation he was releasing to go, many of them had become old men and the old women had become menopausal, many of the men had become expired batteries. If the children were left behind and the adults were released, in few years time; there will nothing known like Israel.

Beloved, there is a conspiracy now in the heavenlies now against the youth. There is a scramble for the young. The enemy unfortunately, has drawn a battle line for the church. The enemy unfortunately, has drawn a battle line for our nation. The enemy unfortunately, has drawn a battle line for the nations of the world and listen carefully. The battle line is not drawn with elders of the church, the battle line is not drawn with those who are old or aged, the battle line is not drawn with those who have accomplished something; but the battle line is drawn with the young.

For example now in Nigeria, it is the young ones who are the tugs, it is the young ones who fight on the streets, it is the young ones who fight for politicians, it is the young ones go and become masquerades. All the destructions that are going on in politics, it is the young ones that are involved. All the thriving of occultism is being carried out by the young ones who are energetic and they can run with strengths and energy.

Why it is true that there are some armed robbers who are old men, but at the same time it is true that they cannot really operate without the young. Some armed robbers who started at the age of 16 years may be they are now 70 years but if there were no young people in the team of armed robbers; armed robbers will stop and it will finish.

The bottom line is that in the last 50 years while the church was playing games, the enemy went after the productive generations. The enemy went on rampage to get the youths. The enemy went to harass, to torment, to cage, to initiate, to rape and to destroy the young generation.

MFM Prayer Points for September - Pastor D.K. Olukoya

As adults, the devil knows that there are many things he can no longer make attractive to you. There are so many fashion that are no longer attractive to you anymore. An old woman of 80 or 90 years cannot be fighting because of wigs or she wants to do some tough head-gear; old age has taken those things away from the aged. The devil is aware that he has a limited time to do anything and so, it’s a rage of destruction.

The challenge is the fact that there is nothing about any nation, there is nothing about any level of civilization, once the young ones have been omitted; that thing will soon die as a matter of truth.

Beloved, there is a serious conspiracy against the youth of our days. If you are young person listening to me, know for sure that war has been declared against you.

The books, the films, the internet that are popular in our days is an agenda to cage the youths.

Do you know that the age range for the serious employees now is going to accepting age brackets of less that 30 years old. They believe that those who are above 30 years cannot simply do what they want and in some places, they can’t take you if you are above 35 years so they know the age range that they want.

In the rage of this conspiracy, the devil has prepared 12 cages to capture the youths of this age as I want to run through those 12 cages very quickly:

Are you in any of these cages? If you are there, get out now, belong to the Lord, repent and surrender your life to Jesus:

1. The cage of ...

Memorize: Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. – Matthew 7:21

Read: Matthew 7:21-23 (KJV)

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Bible in One Year: Ezekiel 22-23

MESSAGE:

There are over two billion Christians in the world today. However, not all will make it to heaven according to today’s memory verse.

Pretense is the key reason for this looming failure. Many ‘Christians’ are not Christlike at all; a lot of them live in sin, yet keep a pious appearance to deceive others. They forget that God is all knowing and will reward everyone according to their works. They forget that this world is temporal whereas the world to come – Heaven for the redeemed and hell for the condemned, will last for eternity.

How is your standing in Christ? Your work, position or title in Church does not matter; if you continue in sin, you are on the road to perdition (Ezekiel 18:20). Be sincere with yourself today and repent. This kind of penitence is the difference between Saul and David. 1 Samuel 15:30 gives the account of Saul when he sinned:

“…he said, I have sinned: yet honour me now, I pray thee, before the elders of my people, and before Israel, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD thy God.”

And 1 Chronicles 21:16-17 gives the account of David when he sinned: ...

If you extend your hand to someone for a handshake, the person would most likely decline if his/her hands are dirty. Naturally, humans avoid staining clean people. However, God does not operate that way. He is willing to give you a hug even when you are dirty.

MFM Daily Devotional 1 September 2020 – Need For Holy Troublemakers

The father of the prodigal son, for example, did not ask him to take a bath before he could embrace him. He saw his son from afar and ran to meet him (Luke 15:11-32). The woman with the issue of blood had been bleeding for twelve years. She may have been smelly, the doctors might have taken all her earnings and left her wearing rags but she chose to touch Jesus – the One everyone was celebrating. Considering her state, ordinarily, she may not have wanted to come close, but she did! She probably felt too dirty to speak, so she decided to just touch the hem of His garment. She did not stay away totally because she was dirty. She made the move and He did not reject her; He even prayed for her (Luke 8:43-48).

The countless sins you have committed – stealing, adultery, fornication, or even murder may make you feel dirty. So, you may even think God cannot acc...

Religion / DCLM Daily Manna 29 August 2020 – Let There Be Justice by MzDammielite20(f): 8:01am On Aug 29, 2020
Recently, a country in Africa rose in stout defence of some of her citizens on death row in another country over allegation of hard drug trafficking. The foreign country is known to execute those found guilty of such offence; but it was discovered that some “convicts” were wrongly condemned as they knew nothing about the drugs found in their luggage. The African country was able to prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt that the conviction was cancelled and the convicts freed.

God is a God of orderliness and justice. He knows that a natural man is evil and can go to any extent to hurt others, even to the point of death. Although He had prescribed death for idol worshippers in Israel; He insisted that those who must die should first defend themselves. He insisted that the execution of suspects must not be a premeditated thing but a thorough process in which more than one person must testify against the individual standing trial. This was also to eliminate death through malice, vendetta and sheer hatred.

From the passage, God declared that no gossip is to be used as evidence to convict one of idolatrous worship. Since such ...

Religion / MFM Daily Devotional 29 August 2020 – Power To Overcome Your “but” (2) by MzDammielite20(f): 7:35am On Aug 29, 2020
What we are considering today will provide solution to problems which many are going through. Beloved, you are reminded as you read yesterday that the three letter word ‘but’, can change everything. You must challenge any such thing that is challenging the glory of God in your life. Do you know that a single ‘but’ can wipe away all your fantastic positive qualities?

Many Biblical giants or potential giants lost out as a result of one single “but” in their lives. Moses was a mighty prophet, but he had a ‘but’ called anger and that anger did not allow him to enter into the Promised Land. The ‘but’ swallowed his entry visa into the Promised Land. Gehazi might have been a mighty prophet and indeed he might have been a prophet of fire and thunder like his master; Elisha, but he had the ‘but’ of covetousness and the love of money. That singular ‘but’ deported Gehazi to the land of lepers. David was an excellent Psalmist, a powerful soldier, a great musician and an outstanding prayer warrior. But, he had the singular giant “BUT” of sexual immortality which denied him of part of the glorious position that God reserved for him.

What is that ‘but’ troubling your heart now? Are you the

Many times when you ask people to pray, you expect to hear a roar, only to look up and see that they are either muttering or praying in their hearts. There are certain levels you cannot reach in the Spirit just by praying in your heart. Praise, a powerful weapon of war cannot be used without words. You can pray, meditate and study the Bible quietly, but it is impossible to praise God silently. You have to open your mouth to praise Him. You need words to call upon God in the day of trouble. Psalm 50:15 says:

This Life No Balance (Educational Distress) – Pastor Kayode Adeyemo

“And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.”

If I were you, I would not wait until the day of trouble before I call Him, I will call upon Him every day. The Bible says that out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks (Matthew 12:34). If you really have a serious request that is heavy on your heart, you will ...

There are lots of spiritual problems that trouble man. Unto every life, a little bit of terrible rain will fall. Any dream of trouble-free life is a fraudulent dream. The Bible says, “Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble.” The word ‘but’ always infers that there is something wrong with a situation. Whether we care to admit it or not, each one of us has faults, failures, weaknesses or other ‘buts’ in our lives.

There was an intelligent professor who was a drunkard. That was his ‘but’. There are great men with “buts”. Naaman was a great man ‘but’ he was a leper.

God wants to address the ‘but’ in your life. If you call Him into the situation, He will reverse it, no matter how terrible it is. Saul was a great religious man, and was a very powerful man: ‘but’ he had weak morals. Peter was a great fisherman and great disciplinarian, ‘but’ he denied Jesus three times. God has the power to reverse negative circumstances and to melt away every negative ‘buts’. But there is a problem...

We have seen how we gain immediate access to God through Christ. But how did Jesus give us this access? He replaced the complicated ceremonies and rituals of the past (Hebrews 4:16). He gave us an easier access to God than the high priests of Old Testament times! The Old Testament people were following God’s command, and he graciously forgave them when, by faith, they made their sacrifices. But that practice looked forward to Christ’s perfect sacrifice. Christ’s way was superior to the Old Testament’s way because the old way only pointed to what he would do. The priests work was never finished so they always had to stand and make sacrifices; Christ’s sacrifice (dying in our place) is finished, so He is seated. The priests repeated the sacrifices often; Christ sacrificed once, for all. The sacrifices system couldn’t completely remove sin; Christ’s sacrifice effectively cleansed us.

How shall we respond to this unrestricted access? First, we must never forget that ...

Religion / Open Heaven: A Promotion In The Problem – Pastor Adeboye by MzDammielite20(f): 4:58am On Aug 28, 2020
While many people see mountains as stumbling blocks, we as Christians should consider them as mere stepping stones to the top.

There was once a young king who loved the Lord and was sold out to God completely, so the Lord decided to bless him. God got three wealthy kings to attack this young king and when he heard about the impending attack, he ran to God. “Father, what have I done that all these problems are surrounding me?” Someone reading this devotional is asking God this same question. Don’t worry, all your problems will lead to great testimonies in the mighty name of Jesus. God told the young king “This battle is not for you to fight, but to store up riches. You just praise me on your way to the battleground, taking along wheel barrows. I have a surprise waiting for you there.” The young king gathered ...

Religion / Open Heaven: Dangers Of Idleness – Pastor Adeboye by MzDammielite20(f): 6:41am On Aug 26, 2020
There is a popular saying that an idle mind is the devil’s workshop. This is very true. Ask King Solomon. He was probably the wealthiest man that ever lived. He was also the wisest on earth during his days, yet the book of Ecclesiastes which he wrote when he was very old, has a tone of depression all over it. Because there was no war in the days of Solomon, he relaxed and it cost him a whole lot. After he was done building God’s temple and completing all the assignments his father gave him before passing on, he was left with nothing to do. He then started marrying strange women, drifted far from the Most High God and built temples for strange gods.

Learn from Solomon. Avoid being idle, it can cost you your life and destiny. King David’s idleness resulted in him falling into adultery with Bathsheba and killing her husband (2 Samuel 11:2-17). This eventually brought a curse on his lineage (2 Samuel 12:10). The Bible speaks of idleness in 1 Timothy 5:13:

“…they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.”

Religion / MFM Daily Devotional: Running The Wrong Race – Pastor D.K. Olukoya by MzDammielite20(f): 7:14am On Aug 25, 2020
To become a champion in life, never run a wrong race. People who are on the right track and are heading towards the right direction will easily achieve their goals. Before you were born, God had designed a purpose for you. If you are not fulfilling that purpose, your life is in danger. This is why you really have to decide to use your life to fulfill divine purpose. Maybe you are winning the race that nobody asked you to run or you are effectively doing the wrong thing, you are warned to be careful. The fact that what you are doing seems good does not mean that it is right. It is said that a good idea does not necessarily mean it is God’s idea. So when a person’s life is not fulfilling the divine purpose for him, the person is wasting his life.

Open Heaven: Speak Up! – Pastor Adeboye

Some people come to the house of God just to sit down, warm the benches and go away in spite of the great talents that they have. God is recording these wasted talents against them; and they have to give an account of them. Satan can waste a person’s health, by keeping the person on a job that wastes his or her health, energy and abilities. A person’s blessing, properties and spiritual power can be wasted too. Beloved, we really need to pray hard. The power of the wasters can make people work like elephants but eat like rats...

Religion / Open Heaven: Speak Up! – Pastor Adeboye by MzDammielite20(f): 6:14am On Aug 25, 2020
Is it not amazing how some people can speak against the Christian doctrines that have always worked for us while we who have benefited from these just keep quiet and watch? By so doing, you are indirectly giving the devil the opportunity to sell lies to other people who don’t know the truth yet. When you speak out in opposition to the lies, you are not speaking for yourself alone, but so that the wrong beliefs will not be taken as the truth. Whatever a person hears regularly sinks into his subconscious as the truth, so we must ensure that when the world tells a lie once, we say the truth five times with valid proof from the word of God. While you should never argue with them, you do need to speak the truth so that the lie will not prevail in the minds of the people. The younger ones – both age-wise and spiritually, are listening and if all they have to listen to is lies, then they will adopt these as the truth, so we need to speak up.

Many times, Christians don’t speak up because many of us...

Religion / The Danger Of The Burial Of Your Talents – Pastor D.K. Olukoya by MzDammielite20(f): 7:15am On Aug 24, 2020
What you do with your God-given talent will determine your output in life. Never bury your talent. It is dangerous to do so. This is the kernel of today’s devotional study. A lot of families are being wasted. It is the waster that circulates a woman from one husband to the other and also circulates a man from one wife to another.

Open Heaven: Redeem Your Vows – Pastor Adeboye

Somebody came to me and said that she wanted to marry. I asked her whether she had found God’s chosen one for her and she said yes. The man she wanted to marry was 57 years old, while she was only 48. She further told me that the man had married five times and all the wives were dead. Unfortunately, the sister could not see that the man had the spirit of wasters working on him.

We should learn from the predicament of the Israelites who wasted all the opportunities to hear the Lord by themselves. So also did Esau waste all his opportunities. If the powers of the wasters were to be working on blind Bartimeaus, he would have missed his healing. But he refused to lose the opportunity...

A Christian may be smiling on the outside because he/she is accustomed to looking cheerful, whereas on the inside, the person could be going through a lot of challenges. Religion / RCCG Sunday School Student’s Manual 23rd August 2020 Lesson 52 – Eternal Reward by MzDammielite20(f): 2:41pm On Aug 22, 2020
TOPIC: Eternal Reward [RCCG Sunday School STUDENT Manual 23 August 2020]

Sunday School Hymn

MEMORY VERSE: “And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.” – Matthew 19:29

BIBLE PASSAGE: 1 Corinthians 9:16-27 KJV (RCCG Sunday School STUDENT Manual 23 August 2020)

16 For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!

17 For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.

18 What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.

19 For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.

20 And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;

21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.

22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

23 And this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you.

24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.

25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:

27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

Lesson 52: RCCG Sunday School Teacher’s Manual [23rd August, 2020]

INTRODUCTION: The Scriptures say do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain. It also says the labourer is worthy of his reward. So, God has rewards for all that make it to the kingdom. We shall one day cross to the other side where we shall have a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory (2 Corinthians 4:17; Psalm 37:34; Psalm 91:cool.

Religion / MFM Daily Devotional: I Shall Not Be Wasted – Pastor D.K. Olukoya by MzDammielite20(f): 7:08am On Aug 22, 2020
You can say no to wasters; and refuse to be wasted. One thing you must learn from today’s devotional is that you can actually determine what happens to you. When you say no, heaven will back you up.

Drama Minister, Seun Adejumobi Officially Weds Sweetheart | Photos

A professor was jailed for a rather pathetic reason. He appropriated the rice meant for distribution to people in his local government area to himself. When he was being taken to jail, he was protesting that it was a waste for the country to lock up a whole professor in the jail. But his problem really was impatience. He wanted to get rich quickly with minimum effort. In a related development, a British professor of surgery was pardoned when they discovered that he was an asset to the United Kingdom. He was in court on account of fighting with a woman in a pub under the influence of alcohol.

These wasters are the...

Religion / MFM Daily Devotional: The Arrow Of The Wasters – Pastor D.K. Olukoya by MzDammielite20(f): 8:52am On Aug 21, 2020
To overcome the enemy, you must be prepared. You must deal with the arrow of the wasters. One of the strategies of the wasters is to bind people from recognizing opportunities. Even when they are right under their nose, the wasters would not be seen. These spirits are deceptive in nature. When opportunities are available to people under the manipulation of these powers, they will never have the true picture of what the situation is. The opportunities they are supposed to seize will look shapeless, impossible or sometimes they perceive them as set-backs or failure. The situation will disguise itself as something else and make people waste their lives by missing opportunities that can never be repeated.

Unfortunately, some of those who should go on three days dry fast and address the wasters, believe that their problems are as a result of bad luck. There is no such thing as luck. A person is either blessed or cursed. What many people call bad luck is actually the activity of the wasters.

Religion / Ruling Even With Only One Gift – A Deep Insight Of Mike Bamiloye by MzDammielite20(f): 12:06pm On Aug 19, 2020
he man who got five Talents went and worked and gained more five in addition to the ones His Master had given him to trade with. The person is given two also worked with his TWO TALENTS and had an additional profits from the TWO talents he was given. Then came the man that was given only ONE TALENT and began to give various excuses and accusations to buttress why he had not used the Talents and why he should be justified for burying the Talent.

The other two sets of faithful servants who worked hard with their Talents of Responsibilities were heavily rewarded. They were made Masters over many things and were called into the joy of their Lord. But this one who was unfaithful with the ONLY ONE given to him, upon him was a severe judgment placed:

The Wreckless Youths Of The Bethel. City! – Mike Bamiloye

1. His Master pronounced him a very Wicked and Slothful Servant.

2. That one which he had was taken away from his hand and given to him who had labored and profited with his gift and Talents.

3. Finally, the Lord pronounced him condemned:

Matthew 25:30 KJV

And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

That was his horrible judgment...Eternal gnashing of teeth.

But what was his problem?

Why did he refuse to use the gift and talent given to him?

You could read dissatisfaction and anger in his voice when he was giving account to his master.

I think, majorly, he must have been angry with his master for giving him "only one talents", while He gave to the others FIVE and TWO and probably to some of His servants, He gave THREE or FOUR.

He was probably angered for being given one talent.

The man is the replica of a lot of God's children who have refused to be faithful with THE ONLY ONE TALENT AND GIFT given to them.

ONLY ONE GIFT. ...

But how many gift had Joseph? How many talents brought him into limelight? How many gifts did he use before he became the Prime-Minister of Egypt?

It was ONLY ONE GIFT he had and that was what he kept to himself. He used THE ONLY GIFT of DREAMS AND INTERPRETATIONS at his home, and in the Prison. Even when he was imprisoned wrongfully, he went into the prison with the Gift in his hand. THE ONLY ONE GIFT made him what he became. The gift brought him before the King and transformed him.

So Joseph had only one gift and he became fruitful and prominent with it...

Religion / MFM Daily Devotional: Withholding Forces – Pastor D.K. Olukoya by MzDammielite20(f): 9:41am On Aug 18, 2020
I counsel you never to hurry over your devotional hour. Today’s passage reveals to us the evil of negative withholding forces. Satanic and diabolical withholding forces are very dangerous. They are first class in hindering people from enjoying their destiny. They make it difficult for people to receive help at the time of need. They make covenant helpers unavailable or unable to help. They make it so hard for a person to access help. They frustrate one’s helpers from being available for needed help.

DCLM Daily Manna: Between Law And Love – Pastor Kumuyi

‘Withholding’ in the Bible means refusal to give support in due season. It means to keep back or refuse to guide. It could mean to detain, to sit upon, to resist, to suspend, to restrain, to hold back, to punish, to close up, to be isolated, to shut up, to forbid, to restrict by acts or words...

Religion / DCLM Daily Manna: You Can Bring Joy To Heaven – Pastor Kumuyi by MzDammielite20(f): 6:00am On Aug 16, 2020
Many times, we are so self-centered and self-consumed that we lose sight of the real essence of the Christian life. When we pray, it is for us to receive blessings from God. When we do good to others, it is for us to be commended. When we go to church, it is for us to be recognized as followers of Jesus Christ. We leave little or no room for God or for other people.

MFM Daily Devotional: The Perfect Scale – Pastor D.K. Olukoya

But if we hope to worship God acceptably and please Him well, we must go beyond our selfish needs and desires. This is the message the Lord Jesus Christ was conveying in our passage. He had been observed in the company of sinners by the religious leaders of His time who were appalled that He had chosen such friends. Knowing their thoughts, Jesus, speaking in parables, asked if any of them with 100 sheep would not leave 99 sheep and go in search of one lamb that strays from the flock...

Religion / Minus Zero Value – Pastor D.K. Olukoya by MzDammielite20(f): 12:32pm On Aug 15, 2020
What value do you have? Is it negative or positive? This is a question you must answer in today’s devotional. Let’s follow this story. Before one girl died, she came to see me. During our discussion, she showed me a paper on which were written the names of 40 men she had slept with.

What pained me most was the last man. He was the one who converted her to Christianity in a holiness-preaching church. The man slept with her, a new convert without the man knowing that she had HIV. This was how, he signed a death sentence for himself. The same brother would jump forward and scream, “Without holiness, no man shall see God.” He would come forward and say, “Holiness is our watchword” and would sing in a bass tone...

Religion / DCLM Daily Manna: Loving God Truly – Pastor Kumuyi by MzDammielite20(f): 7:27am On Aug 14, 2020
Many are quick to profess their love for God. They put up a public show of it in the way they dress; in the manner of their speech and in their dietary preferences. They present themselves as God’s favourite children; regular in church services and dutiful in meeting all their religious obligations. And they conclude that this is all that is needed by God! Nothing can be farther from the truth. God’s standard is much higher and He expects everyone to faithfully abide by it.

MFM Daily Devotional: The Unexpected Knock- Pastor D.K. Olukoya

Great multitudes had followed Jesus Christ. Knowing their hidden motives for coming, He made one of the most remarkable statements in the gospel. He told them that those who would follow Him and become His disciples must love God far above everyone else – parents, spouse and children. They must, above all, love God more than they love themselves. And they must also be prepared to make far-reaching sacrifices; to bear their cross. Discipleship demands that they forget about their achievements and personal preferences, to follow Christ. That is the only way they can ...

Religion / MFM Daily Devotional: The Unexpected Knock- Pastor D.K. Olukoya by MzDammielite20(f): 7:16am On Aug 14, 2020
There is a moment in life when we automatically become sober. This is what we are looking at in today’s devotional. I have often said that there are two places where sermons are effective: the cemetery and the leprosy colony.

Open Heaven: Understanding Your Times And Seasons – Pastor Adeboye

In fact, one of the best altar calls that I have ever seen or witnessed was at the cemetery. Let’s listen to the preacher: “Three days ago, this man was drinking coke in my house. Little did I know that, in three days time, he would be gone. But he is here now in the grave. One day, whether you like it or not, whether you refuse to grow old or you are polishing your hair and carrying your body cream everywhere you go, one day, you will land here too. And those left behind would say: “Oh, he has gone home.” But, who knows where you are going? Who really knows?”

God’s measuring scale weighs many ...

Religion / Open Heaven: Understanding Your Times And Seasons – Pastor Adeboye by MzDammielite20(f): 1:21am On Aug 14, 2020
We learned from the wise King Solomon that there is a time for every purpose under heaven and this of course includes every human being.

Alanu – Judikay | Lyrics + Video

Everyone wants to be greatly successful, but there is a process to undergo before the success comes. We must give consideration to the unique seasons we are in as individuals at every point in time.

Many times, people get lucky and get a taste of the success they are pursuing before the time comes. David for example got a taste of being the number one citizen of Israel before he sat on the throne. After killing Goliath, the women considered him the most important man in the nation. They even sang that he was more successful than King Saul.

“And the women answered one another as they played, and said, Saul hath slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands.” – (1 Samuel 18:7)

This short taste of success did not make ...
