Please stop taking the temperature from the Anus. The technicalities involved with that method is too delicate for a first time mom and a baby of just four weeks.

I beg of you. I have seen it go awry and nothing was detected till baby was about three years with perforated rectum. Leave the rectal thermometer for the health professionals.

BTW, it's not healthy to use one thermometer for armpit, Anus or mouth as you'll definitely transfer germs to your baby from Anus to mouth. Do the conventional armpit and anything below 38° is okay.

I doubt if these temperatures are high. I think there are variations in the temperature due to how covered/ close this part of the bodies are to allow free air. Anyway if it rises above 37.5 you may want to take steps. Note that the weather is hot, so don't overdress your baby.

Alternatively, you can come over to the newborn thread so other mamas can attend to your fears. You will be glad you did

No vomiting, regular stooling and everything seems normal but the temperature. Should i be getting worked up?

Years ago, weddings, birthdays and even childbirth was a family affair. Today they can be called carnivals and no one would consider any of it wrong. 1st it started with pre-wedding shoot.
Pre-wedding shoot has come to stay trust me and the likes of Bellanaija have made the competition so stiff everyone wants to come up with the best shoot idea. Photographers are not left out as they each try to be the ones taking credit for the most fabulous pictures.
Makeup artist and stylist ensure the face beat and matching styles are on fire.
Then there is the wedding shoot itself..... OMG! Just dont miss out on it on IG every weekend.
Recently its been birthday shoot and pregnancy shoot everywhere....
What exactly is the world turning into? What is to say that in the near future we are not to expect sex shoot or even burial shoot.... What a world we live in today

The issues of going to church or places of worship late has become so common for many its now a normal practice.
The real question now isn't do people go to places of worship late on purpose but do they even realize something is wrong.
There are a number of places people would never dream of going to late but when it comes to the presence of God, it's as though one is forced to mark attendance.
Who needs the church more? Us or God..... If men do not praise me then I would raise stones to praise me.
Today, different churches have different timing for church services to ensure people have no excuse but people would rather stroll into their various places of worship 30 minutes late with no remorse. Is the church just another item to mark off our to-do list every week?
How many people go to church more than once a week? Is 3, 4 hours too much to spend in the presence of God or are we just not aware of the supremacy of God?
Let us make prayer the steering whee of our lives not the spare tire. In this way we can ask God help us take the things of God very serious.
If the bibile says where 2 or 3 are gathered in my name there I am..... Ask yourself today, does Jesus come late
