Veteran Nollywood Actors like Zack Orji would be ingrates if they turned their backs on the "architect" of the haven they sought succour when their native home was devastated by the menace of kidnapping. From 2007 - 2014, Nollywood Actors were moving targets in the South Eastern Part of the Country. Today, most Nigerian celebrities are domiciled in Lagos and do not return home without provision for special security.

I'm really worried about the future of this country, especially, as it relates to the choice of a "messiah" by our young people. BTW, OP, a lot of us here are educated and exposed people. Try to include links or sources to support your claims next time. Thank you. FreeStuffsNG:Thank you! This is the solution I proposed last night below: https://www.nairaland.com/7339114/tale-three-pilots-plane#116797494 |
BRATISLAVA:You're an intelligent woman! Your archive on Nairaland is one of the best. Your opinions are progressive, reforming, and educative. Thank you. |
Magnoliaa:I guess I fall within Generation Y age range . I was so sure you'd bring up the generation z spectrum crap like I'm not in my early 20s. When your life is controlled by social media feeds and your most "credible sources" are screenshots of retweets , a freethinker can predict your robotic response 9/10 times. Do you think the traditional ASUU industrial actions are just because of investment in tertiary education only? One of the demands of ASUU is that IPPIS should be suspended as their payment framework and UTAS adopted instead. IPPIS is used by the bulk of Federal Government employees, why should there be a special treatment for ASUU? How will other employees feel? Let me teach you today, the only lasting solution to ASUU strike is to increase fees of tertiary institutions by at least 100% for a start. It is called "The Problem of Dirty Hands". No Federal Public University in Nigeria pays above $200 which is low for even qualitative basic studies anywhere in the world. It is very low to provide standard education in a bankrupt country. The sessional fees of a good private secondary school in any Nigerian town is more than the cumulative fees for an undergraduate course in Federal Universities across the country. Whenever there was regime change as far as the 80s, successive military governments never failed with the reassurance that ASUU strike would never occur. When democracy came in 1999, the leaders of the new republic swore to bring a permanent end to ASUU strikes. Your candidate proposes that trillions should just be released to ASUU Do you know how much previous governments have given to ASUU? Nigerians want welfarism with the privileges available to capitalist societies. The only bad thing Buhari has done regarding ASUU is letting the strike endure longer than it has ever in the last 40 years! Below , national dailies from 1981.

Magnoliaa:In 2019, today's first pilot who is now the best thing after slice bread was the First Officer (Vice President) for yesterday's Captain (today's third pilot who is incompetent). He told all the passengers in the plane to trust today's third pilot to captain the plane. He believed so much in the captaincy of today's third pilot. They fought from the Court of Appeal to the Supreme Court together in their Pilot training school till the end of 2020. From 2021 until May 2022 , today's first pilot was today's 3rd pilot's schoolmate and colleague at their Pilot Training College (PDP). He dropped out of the elite college at the fall of May 2022 and joins a mushroom flying college. He then becomes the most competent pilot in history ![]() In the aviation industry, flight hours is the most crucial component of a pilot's CV. Nowhere in the world, apart from Twitter and Nairaland, would a First Officer who told every passenger that his Captain was the best in 2019 still tell the same passengers that his Captain is not qualified in 2022.

Magnoliaa:In October 2020 you were at the forefront of Endsars riot on Nairaland. The most gruesome police brutality story was scripted while the "best pilot" flew a small plane Below from 2020 https://www.nairaland.com/6185561/dead-bodies-dropped-ezu-river https://www.nairaland.com/6184295/james-nwafor-armageddon-called-awkuzu Below are from 2013: https://www.nairaland.com/1385484/30-lawyers-set-battle-anambra https://www.nairaland.com/1468214/letter-governor-obi-unlawful-detention You're just another cancel culture sheep. |
Worst possible Allusion. Stick to diary keeping ! |
Ijoh:From experience, Atissa isn't so different from Epie. They have a lot in common. But other parts of Bayelsa State do not understand Epie language. More than 20 people cannot be wrong. I should have said central Ijaw in my initial opinion not just Ijaw which Epie people are part of. I agree that Epie is under the bigger Ijaw nation and spectrum I apologise. Let's talk about the substance, will Peter Obi win Bayelsa? |
AdakaBoro8:But can you speak Epie? Can Izon speak Epie? Can you even understand it and vice-versa? Let's forget my analysis between the different sub-groups in the larger Ijaw ethnic group. Let's deal with the substance: Will your people vote Peter Obi? |
nnewsnjobs:Your prediction will most likely be the outcome in the Southern Part of the country, Ceteris paribus . |
RIVERS STATE I'm a busy person tired of typing the obvious. Let's just wait for Wike ![]() |
AKWA IBOM STATE Akwa Ibom state is PDP. All the local government chairmen, house of Assembly members, councillors , National Assembly members are PDP members. Peter Obi's wife is from the State but it's the least that matters to these people. Labour Party stands no chance here. Let's face it, Mr Bassey Albert (OBA) who is the most popular Governorship candidate in the State should have cross carpeted to Labour Party when Udom chose Umo Eno as his successor. He instead went to YPP because associating himself with Labour Party will worsen his chances. Udom Emmanuel is a silent mover, and with his recent position as the head of PDP's presidential campaign, PDP will win Akwa Ibom State better. Even if he wasn't, PDP would still win Akwa Ibom State. Akpabio will return similar amount of votes he gave to APC in Akwa Ibom State in 2019 whether he wins or not. He's an Annang Man from Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District and will always have more of his people love him than hate him even if he starts world war 3. Oron people have been marginalized since 1999. The closest they have come to the seat of power is the choice of their son as Deputy Governor by Akan Udofia the APC Governorship candidate. Even John Udoedeghe who is one of the most popular politicians in the state moved to NNPP from APC instead of Labour Party. There's a reason two major contenders in Akwa Ibom State did not defect to Labour Party. It can literally render their political careers useless. Only a handful of woke young people will vote Labour Party here. PDP will win Akwa Ibom State with a huge margin. They have the strongest PDP structure in the whole of Nigeria. If PDP loses Akwa Ibom State, it means they will not win any other state even Sokoto where Tambuwal governs. |
CROSS RIVER STATE Half of the State is PDP at heart while the other half is APC in reality. There's no room for Labour Party in Cross River State. Betta Edu, APC women's leader is loved and adored by young and old women across the state. She's very charismatic, lovable and can influence young voters. She organized thousands of women as a Christian in Islamic Borno. Think about what she can do in her Cross River State. Ayade is contesting for the Senate too. He has appointed almost 1000 advisers into his cabinet. If you check deeper, there is no prominent extended family in the whole of Cross River State that doesn't have an aide working for Ben Ayade. Ben Ayade has control over the civil service. On Presidential election day which is also the date for his election into the Senate, he will release the salaries of the civil servants he's owing so that he can win. Calabar is PDP. Either PDP or APC will win Cross River State. The winning margin will be very small. |
DELTA STATE Transportation cost from Yenagoa to Warri is below #2,000 . Contrary to public opinion, Delta State share a lot in common with the Bayelsa people than Bayelsa people do with Rivers State despite the fact that Bayelsa State was carved from Rivers State. Delta State is very diverse with Ijaw, Isoko, Itsekiri, and Urhobo people. Okowa is Ika and falls within the spectrum we call Delta Igbos. This is the group that should have given Peter Obi at least 30,000 sure votes in Delta State for a start. The majority of these Ika votes will go to PDP because Okowa is the Vice President. The bulk of Urhobo votes will go to APC because of Omo Agege who is APC flag bearer. Festus Keyamo , APC's campaign spokesperson is also Urhobo. Asaba is where Peter Obi will most likely get votes. But Okowa who also claims to be Igbo has his machinery and structure in this place to make him prevail here by a mile. PDP will win Delta with a huge gap. The difference between APC and Labour Party in Delta State will be small. |
N3TRAL:BAYELSA STATE: If there's anything that unites the Ijaw and Epie people in this State, it is their hatred for Igbos ( I don't know why). From Akenfa to Agudama extending to Biogbolo, Igbos own more than half the shops. 90% of restaurants in Yenagoa are owned by Cross River or Akwa Ibom people. The three biggest supermarkets in the state aside Market square shopping mall are owned by Igbo men. The biggest pharmacy near FMC, hospital road is owned by an Igbo man. The Igbos are the loud minority in Yenagoa (not the whole of Bayelsa). Commerce in Yenagoa apart from grocery trade or open markets like Tombia market are completely dominated by foreigners. Even 70% of Keke drivers in Yenagoa are not from the State. 98% of Indigenes with employment living in Yenagoa are employed in the Civil Service. Bayelsa people love free money they don't need to work for. They even organise vigils to pray for oil to be discovered in their communities. By 4pm, boutiques and high profile shops are locked and only opened for customers to come in to buy and locked again immediately the customers come in. Igbo shops are attacked here without provocation. It doesn't make the national news but it is the truth. TBH, it was one of the oldest Igbo business men in Yenagoa that told me that Bayelsa people would rather a Northerner rules them forever than vote an Igbo candidate. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.vanguardngr.com/2019/05/igbo-traders-in-bayelsa-shut-shops-protest-hoodlums-attacks/amp/ https://www.sunnewsonline.com/attack-on-igbo-govt-beefs-up-security-in-bayelsa/ The rest of the local government areas in Bayelsa apart from Yenagoa (which has approximately 35% visitors) are made of at least 90% indigenes because they are largely swampy and riverine and not viable for retail business. The Peter Obi march that made the news yesterday was at Tombia Roundabout/ Junction which is the equivalent of Lagos' computer village in Yenagoa. 80% controlled by the Igbos who are not up to 2000 traders combined. The rest of the Local Governments apart from Yenagoa are for PDP or in the worst case scenario the highest bidder. The civil servants in Yenagoa are for PDP. Labour Party cannot get up to 10,000 votes across Bayelsa. A bulk of the votes will come from Igbo people leaving there and young liberal Bayelsa indigenes below 35. PDP will come first in Bayelsa, followed most likely by APC. One of the biggest campaign posters in Yenagoa are Tinubu's. |
ScamHunter:Lol, this isn't a joke. How will I keep $10,000 at home? I've spent at least 1 week in each of the States I mentioned above between July and Today. I have lived across these states for 15 cumulative years. |
He cannot win : DELTA STATE RIVERS STATE AKWA IBOM STATE CROSS RIVER STATE BAYELSA STATE You can pick an escrow let's bet 100,000 Naira. |
GENUINE GOODNESS IS THREATENING TO THOSE AT THE OTHER END OF THE MORAL SPECTRUM! If your mother's life wasn't shortened by those at the other end of the moral spectrum, you'd be her dearest son today. Princess Diana always acted with her heart not her head. Like mother, like son, you Handsome Harry chose a Bride from the heritage of those your fathers before you enslaved despite the consequence. Every night and day I hope that by vis major your issue with the great granddaughter of a slave sits on the Stone of Destiny even if you do not. ADIEU QUEEN! |
Success is not lonely, it has friends and can only be built through alliances. In 1945, the United States detonated two atomic bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki respectively thereby killing hundreds of thousands of Japanese civilians within 5 days. Britain was and still is America's biggest ally and were responsible for what would be up till this minute the worst nuclear attack in human history. The Japanese have moved on. They trade with the United States and the United Kingdom and share technology when necessary because they are a resolute people who understand that wars are not fought for pleasure. They have retained their homogeneous society without alienating themselves from the global village where Comity of Nations hold them in high esteem. No, we are not sophisticated or developed than the Japanese - Tokyo, Hamamatsu and Toyoma are some of the most futuristic cities on Earth. Neither are we braver than the Japanese. If we were, our late leader would commit suicide with his entire household so that history would be kind to him - that's what failed Japanese warriors do. He wouldn't have fled to a nearby country in a woman's attire after sacrificing our parents. If there was any monarch that should avoid the funeral of the Late gracious Queen mother, it should be the Japanese emperor. We must learn to move on for our own good and things will fall in place! |
The police officer should be fired for cowardice and negligence that are incompatible with the profession of a security agent. It's unethical for the police officer not to empty the entire magazine of his rifle into the belly of the he-goat wearing a white t-shirt. This shameful scene can never be recorded anywhere in the United States apart from Hollywood. Police officers there have fatally shot tens of thousands of suspects for simply puting their hands in their pockets when they were told to place them behind their heads. Nigerian Police have the responsibility of teaching their officers to riddle the bodies of such deviants with bullets and leave them on the highway for vultures to feed on. Only then can we have an orderly society. |
The bulk of CNN interviews are paid. Even Goodluck Jonathan as an incumbent president paid CNN for his interviews. It's not all interviews that are commercial though. For instance, if 200 school boys are kidnapped and CNN covers the story then an interview with the President about the state of the Nation may not be paid. However, a planned interview with CNN that has been rescheduled a couple of times is 9 out of 10 times paid because it isn't a priority. My opinion as a neutral is that Peter Obi's paid interview was wasted. He kept reiterating the problems of the country known to even those with limited exposure without proposing genuine and practicable strategies to solve them. The latter is what differentiates a President Nigeria needs from a critic.

Tochi3:It is often suggested that to improve power supply across the country, electricity generation and transmission should be transferred to the concurrent list from the exclusive list. It means that States would have to look beyond hydroelectricity and hydrocarbon to generate enough energy to boost industrialization. A state without Natural Gas or a dam may utilize green energy to increase its output and boost industrialization. That was a reply the questioner hoped for. The question was definitely not out of proportion for a candidate who visited Egypt earlier this year to study the country's power sector. |
kk2027:Except a court of competent jurisdiction overturns the outcome of a Presidential or Governorship Election, the date a newly elected Executive Governor of a State or President of the Country is to be sworn into office is the 29th of May. If Obi is sworn in on February 2023 as you presume, it would mean Buhari would not stay for 4 years as provided for by the CFRN 1999 thereby rendering such action a nullity. BTW, the bulk of CNN interviews are paid. Even Goodluck Jonathan as an incumbent president paid CNN for his interviews. It's not all interviews that are commercial though. hedonido:It's not more than a five-finger exercise to resort to Ad Hominem . Few weeks ago, the Vice President of Nigeria was received at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building by Kamala Harris and a major theme of their discourse bothered on how we can reduce our foreign debt via climate change commitment. If Obi becomes President next year, he'll be attending COP 28 where such deeper questions will be asked. It will be a big shame for this country if he renders such a depressing reply there. |
dmill:Have you watched the video? It seems as though Peter Obi, who is projected as the candidate of young and progressive Nigerians, knows nothing about green energy, renewable energy and climate change. |
It is me you want to shame for being woke? Bra and paynt, I am an Internet-loving Generation Z evening newspaper.
. You could alternatively apply for being my biographer, from the online aspect, 'cause I am convinced I need one at this point, lmao.
