The Op does not care more about Mohbad than I do even though he is the most obsessed with the singer's death on Nairaland forum. I genuinely wish that Mohbad rests in perfect peace. On the other hand, people like OP are looking forward to build their blogs and vlogs with conspiracies of his demise. They want to spoil the goodwill left of the deceased artiste's name. |
Innocent until proven guilty! That's the meaning of Justice! |
How can you not love my sweet Florence? I really love you DJ Cuppy 💕 There's nothing the sportsmen you're chasing can do for you that I can't do for you apart from giving you materials things that are vanity 😂 |
Nigerians seem to dismiss diplomacy, gentleman behaviour and patience as weakness. The archaic philosophy that "it is better to be feared than to be loved" still applies in Nigeria. |

Happy Birthday Mr. Oyedepo. Say whatever you want about him but I give credit to a man who came from a poor Muslim Household in Northern Nigeria to become the richest pastor in the world. You do not have any reason not to attempt ending your generational poverty. |
michael1508: Malroux:I can tell that both of you are cowards. You've probably never killed a chicken in your life. Your strength is dependent on the mob. No crowd, you will run back into your hole. Since you've lived a life where you have achieved little and not stood out, you yearn for relevance by joining fellow mediocre characters like yourself to crucify an artiste who is down. Do I give a Fvck about Naira Marley? Obviously no. But I can't stall a judicial process that involves investigation. I'm calling you out because you sound uneducated and if an IQ test was the prerequisite to join Nairaland, we wouldn't be having this conversation in the first place. I'd be quoting someone else. |
Mohbad was hypertensive- a health information he never hid. There's a reason hypertension is nicknamed "the silent killer". Despite being hypertensive, he was a hard drug user, two dangerous combinations. In his mother's recent interview, she suggested that Mohbad was scared and not breathing fine during the recent periods she spent with him. The body regulating Nurses in Nigeria has clarified that the nurse who allegedly "treated" him was not registered. Put differently, the person on whose medical care he spent his last hours on earth was not qualified to practice as a nurse. The hospital that certified him dead confirmed that a nurse was treating him at home and it was when his situation deteriorated that he was rushed to the hospital. He was dead on arrival (DOA). To the social media warriors, the possible causes of his death are: 1. Naira Marley's bullying and juju 😂 2. His wife's presumed infidelity with a certain Sam. 3. His beloved father who hated him. From the very first moment the few of us at the other end of the spectrum received the details of his untimely demise, we established the outstanding remote cause to be drug abuse and the major immediate cause to be poor health care delivery by a quack who "treated" him without his medical history. The mob cannot silent us. We anticipate the result of the autopsy. |
In the last few days, there has been a lot of onslaught on my person and reputation globally over the death of my former signee. All manner of stories has been woven against me in respect of his untimely death.https://www.instagram.com/p/CxqcsJ2q6yJ/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

If Wike can threaten the Germany and Canada... 😂 |
Nigeria, as a country, is currently suffering the consequences of decades of persistently neglecting education and human capital development. The number of illiterate, misinformed and poorly educated feet walking across the geographical area known to house the most negroids on earth is an epidemic keenly waiting to breakout. Some of those who bribed their way into a college and "sorted" the lecturers to graduate from University have gone ahead to be loud and rich. Others who lack basic thinking skills and formal professional knowledge have invented controversies to become the most followed on social media. The era where the academia, cultured, enlightened, exposed, and principled amongst us could influence the populace ended about a decade ago when we unfortunately transitioned into an epoch where the stupidest available have their voices amplified. Persuasive information and social influence today is determined by how much money you have and thereafter how many Social media followers you have. We live in a period where the herd will quote a popular skit maker during a medical conversation with a trained nurse or in the middle of a legal argument with a lawyer. The future is bleak. |

mrvitalis:I approve your post and adopt it as my comment on this thread. Well done. |
Those days are gone. An artiste needs a minimum of 10 million naira to "blow" in today's Nigeria. |
There are many reasons the black race is the laughing stock of the world. The level of attention given to irrelevant things like the late artiste is one of them. |
Let's face it, clout chasers on social media platforms are not the wisest bunch out there. But those who chase clout on TikTok are on a different level of stupidity. To thrive on TikTok these days, you need to achieve a certain level of stupid |

I support Seun. Cultism, drug abuse and violence culture are the remote causes of the tragedy. |
VULCAN:Argumentum ad hominem. Attack the message next time. |
Still the first Nigerian President to do so. Still an achievement. But it doesn't reduce the price of Garri anyway 😂 |
cococandy:I think that it's an extreme debt collection method to even blackmail someone on social media. His persistent intimidation by the Marlian Record label itself was more than extreme. These conflicts have occurred since the peak of Michael Jackson's career and even before the Icon. Taylor Swift had to remaster two of her albums. Legends like 2face had their own dose from Kennis. P-square , identical twins, were dissolved because of music business sharing formula. I love corporate and formal environments and have always advocated for the legal resolution of breach of contracts that arise from agreements. An injunction/restraining order from a competent court of jurisdiction would prevent him from doing the things he did without his label. However, artistes simply change their names so the contract becomes invalid. They can thereafter remaster the songs they did with their former stage names under the record label contract. Kiss Daniel was one of those who successfully did this. He changed his name from Kiss Daniel to Kizz Daniel rendering the contract with G-worldwide useless. It's not a fair world. Mohbad won't be the first artiste to leave his record label in Nigeria or abroad. He isn't even the first to be intimidated by his record label. I'm not supporting the bullying by record label sharks. I'm just saying that there's nothing that establishes a link between his former boss and his death. |
cococandy:Yes, Mohbad left Marlian Records that brought him to limelight when he had a bit of Fame. He started his own label when the end of his contract wasn't near. For instance, in the music business, if you're to perform on a show as a musician, clients have to contact your manager appointed by your record label so that they can receive the payment and remit your agreed share to you. Since he left the label despite a subsisting agreement, in such circumstances Marlian Records will hire thugs to threaten him during such events where he got the job without informing the label and in some instances, he'd be assaulted. He was even attacked during a video shoot with a more famous artiste whom he partnered with without informing the label. The intimidation went on for a while but not very recently. As far as I know, the cause of his death has not been established to be through physical trauma or injury. He was reported to be sick and he kicked the bucket while undergoing a medical routine in the care of an "auxiliary" nurse. The fans are now saying that Naira Marley murdered him. |
Mohbad is dead and he went to the grave on his family's approval but was brought back for autopsy due to public interest. It is okay to mourn the early demise of the short-lived popstar but I stand with Naira Marley in all of this. I stand with Naira Marley as a capitalist believer. Zinolesky, Mohbad, Kizz Daniel, Ayra Starr, Rema, Asake, Fireboy, Khaid are not musical stars just because they are talented. In fact, being a popular musical star has nothing to do with knowing how to sing or one's dexterity with musical instruments. They're musical stars because someone took a loan from the bank or lenders and invested tens of millions of Naira or even dollars to put them in your faces until you accept them as stars by force. Everyone blames the record label bosses because they're not the main actors who perform on stage. An idea is worth nothing without the resources to amplify it. In tech, angel investors and venture capitalists take the lion's share leaving founders with the bulk of the burden. In sports, agents like Mendes take their big cut. If it was easy, Mbappe would just wake up and leave PSG for Madrid. Why is it always different in the music business? Defend the deceased as much as you like but the fact remains that nobody on the face of the earth forced him to sign the deal with Marlian records. When you sign an agreement, fortunately, one that brings fame and money to you, the least you can do is honour it. If Loan Apps in Nigeria, like Palmpay, that have foreign investors and major corporate personnel have resorted to blackmailing the families of loan defaulters and even crashing events to disgrace and arrest their debtors what do you think street boys who hustled all their lives will do if a fellow ghetto nobody they lifted out of poverty plays ping pong with their millions worth of investment? I unequivocally condemn the mode of debt recovery above as I only used that real-life scenario to point out the fact that Mohbad was Naira Marley's debtor until he died. The Courtroom or Arbitration house remains the best destination for dispute settlement. However it must be stated that Mohbad's tragedy and Naira Marley's cancellation is like a loan app debtor committing suicide because the loan sharks blackmailed him to his family, friends, and colleagues. Naira Marley is simply that loan shark whose chronic debtor is involved in a fatal accident while trying to avoid the loan shark's constant harassment. Nobody blames the dead debtor but everyone blames the loan shark who had once given the debtor money and hope even though the debtor failed to keep his own part of the bargain. My thoughts and prayers are with his family in their period of grief. I genuinely mourn Mohbad but refuse to join the herd to link his death to Naira Marley. |

We have a very serious idleness crisis in this country. We're in trouble |
. |
Rest In Peace Mohbad. I heard about him for the first time yesterday. I heard that he was a rising star. My thoughts and prayer are with his family. |
Back here. |
Most people outside America do not know those names. The bulk of the athletes that made the list are only popular in America. |
