ElRazur:
The last time I checked, the video aint there.  I have all of Funwontan under my favourite naija videos lol.

Who go forget Itu baba ita?

Funwontan in my opinion was way ahead of his time. He was probably the funniest performer around during his days.

He was in London (Peckham) some years ago and while he was performing, some drunk "Jamo" dude came in and started gesturing "wanking" at him.  I was at the second row or so and was waiting for my people to do something, but as usual my people did nothing. So I got upset and just got up and grabbed the guy by his trouser and dragged him out.

Later my people were saying "well done" smh. Cowardly bunch lol.

I think that is one of my finest memory of him. He was killing the audience with his joke mehn. He was way ahead with his material and witt in my opinion.

In ilorin, he had a huge following too, along side with Dan-Kazeem.

Wow El Razur, u met the man, face to face
Wow, i'm impressed, man!
Gbenga was a genius, he actually revolutionise art of comedy, in nigeria
Watching some of his vids on youtube, left me with pains in my ribs
No present comedian has been has versatile. Wish we still have him us, Honestly what a waste!
And again wit all the rumour that he was done away wit by Gbenga Adewusi of Bayowa cos he was dating his wife
Where is even the guy sef?

@ ileke
Yes soundhound is very good, i think i posted it earlier at the beginning of this thread.
The beauty of it, is that you can even hum a tune and it will record it and give u the detail.
Another one is SHAZAM, but i think the free one allow you to check only 5 songs daily (which i think is stupid, so u can only check 5 songs when u're in the club abi?) i'm sure they 'll come to their senses very soon and make it free like soundhound.
Just giving u other options

The meaningless rubbish we hear nowadays has brought amnesia of the quality music we all grew up to know!
The death of Alhaji Ayinde Barrister a.k.a Alhaji Agba, Barry Wonder actually brought back the reality that we had almost forgotten all these old music warriors, its only their death that makes us remember the good old days.
Please be sure to add any of those songs with fond memories

El Razur, ure da man!
Too many lovely memories associated wit that video man!
Chai!

ElRazur:
I think we need to upload a video of doing the Garbage dance to honour Alhaji Agba mehn.

I am tempted to whip out camera and do it lol. Who's with me? If anyone do it first, I swear on my life I go follow suit.

El Razur after you naa, and while on it put ijo yoyo also, in honour of kollington, though still alive, but another of my favourite!

ElRazur:
The girl ain't even doing it right lol.

It is more like your hand flows horizontally in a wave like manner, and you gotta do your neck in funny way. That dance was awesome back then.

Do you remember the "Garbage designer" cloth that everyone was rocking too back then? It had a big pocket usually on the Male buba lol. Good old times.

How can i forget
I was the best dancer in my secondary school then?
Fuji garbage, with hands flowing horizontally acros ur chest and ur back stiffened and moving in a kind of zig zag

ElRazur:
Why are we all of a sudden "sad" when an elderly person dies? Let us look at the bigger picture here.

He had a good life, he left behind a legacy and arguably laid the path for today's fuji musician - From KWAM 1 down to your Obesere. Some will even say he is on "over time" as he was past the life expectancy in naija.

Don't get me wrong, I am not being insensitive, but will rather celebrate his achievements. On contrast, it was sad when Dagrin and Someone like Bawomolo departed, because they had their whole life in front of them.

Personally, like I said, I don't see the need to be sad, but instead celebrate his life. I'm sitting here bumping "Salubata ni mo wo mi o gbo do shu bu". That is some good freaking old school fuji song right there.

Celebrate my people. What's your favourite song of Alhaji Agba? For me it is "Salubata" and Fuji Garbage. Anyone remember the fuji garbage dance?   That is some good old times mehn.

How can anybody forget fuji garbage!

Its been long since i heard anything fro him!
Its quite sad, someone u used to dance to when u're a kid now no more, any ways the albums dey sha!
Just wondering, where is his arch rival now, i mean Kollington?

Alhaji Agba dead?
Wow, we will all miss him o
Still cant forget Fuji Garbage!
RIP Alhaji agba!
