What a great sense of humour, a terrible system yet very true and real, that's d situation we found ourselves in our Country 9ja, if only we can rise up and say enuff is enuff... I stand to reason with Honsule on this, the application stage is not closed yet and d requirement of FCC is all federal recruitments must be advertised for not less than six weeks b4 commencement of d recruitment. If she was called 4 interview among d current vacancies, then pls which post did she applied for?

Hello everyone, just thought I shld make sm contributions here. First of all, if u r new here and wishes to understand what's happening just bring urself up to speed by scrolling down to either d begining of d thread or anywhere u get d info u need not to be dragging all with some unwarranted questions or questions that were already answered several times. Secondly, if u r applying online, read d instructions carefully on the form b4 attempting to fill it, make available all d required info n docs and like it was said ensure u r somewhere with a reliable internet connection. If u are applying via the physical form, follow d same procedure outlined above. Applying online is d same with aplying with a hard copy, no need to duplicate it. If you do not know what post to apply, read the requirements of each position to know where you fall in, asking questions here on that area is needless as the requirements of all the positions were specified according to d different posts, just have d patience to go through the information supplied by the fscs. We nigerians always want to cut corners in everything we do and that attitude need to change fortwith. I just applied and submitted without any hitches because I endeavour to read all instructions and do accordingly. Wish all of us best of luck.

I didn't wanna comment b4 but decided to share my experience on the issues discussed above: @ AlfJohn, its true some parastatals don't require bord ratification for the hiring n firing of lower n middle level Staff but also many parastatals defer to Board for ratification of all appointments irrespective of the level or cadre, particularly the new emergent parastatals, I believe the Boards are becoming more involved in their duties of checks n balances of Mangement decisions, so am swayed that NIMC is among these new vibrant parastatals that defer to the Board for ratification of all its decisions, believe me I was employed in2010 as middle level staff in one of these parastatals and our appointment had to go thru Board approval, and after that, it is now a requirement of law for the parastatal to obtain FCC (federal character comission) certificate of compliance in order to have the newly recruited staff in to the payroll system and there's no any need for National Assembly to be involved, once the Board ratified it and they secure FCC approval, then it is done, as a matter of fact in some cases, the members of the FCC normally sits in the interview panels though you guys may not notice that, so the fcc is sually carried along from the intial point of recruitment, their duty is to ensure an equitable distribution of the recruitment among the 36 States + FCT as to represent our Federal Xracter nature on the Country. Also on the issue of Board sitting, even though they are required by law usually to sit atleast 4 times a year that's once every qouta, in some cases they do sit more than that where the need arises especially when recruitment process is involved. The truth of the matter is even the list that were called for interview n subsequently for training must have passed tru the Board and defitely d successful ones would also pass thru d board approval b4 issuing the APL. But there's no need to worry cos they (board) also knew the importance of having the required manpower for the NIN project, so I don't think they would delay it unnecassarily or without a good reason, so guys cheer up, it is coming very soon... I know a girl that was invited 4 interview who wrote besides me on 19th Oct.

Just to shed more light on the 28 days allowance, its part of the public service financial regulations when u r newly employed to be given that to, its for your accomadation and to help u settle down, most parastataLs give that and very few don't. It all depends on their condition of service, but if they are applying civil or public service salary structure then definitely, they must give that 28 days allowance. It is mostly calculated based on per diem (that's ur hotel accomodation according to ur grade level) but others calculate it based on ur basic, be it as it may, its usually a lump sum...

ace101: I was invited for test for the same position I applied for last year and like I said they are two different recruitments.I also applied for the one this year. The one last year is for zonal and the one this year is for head office.

You are quite correct cos I saw d invite from a friend of mine for d test on 24th.

akym2005: gus dont be pernic the last yr advert has been merged with this yr. that is why for those who applied for last yr who did not applied for the current one has been directed to go to their wevsite and fill the online form with there centre test choice lagos or abuja and also text them what they should apply for. ok can any of them tell us what they applied for in the last one and compaire with what they gave them now. because a friend of mine who applied for maneger technical role in the last advert was directed now to go online and filled the post of analyst distribution vcos he did not yet apply for the current one also the last one is regional bases

But what about peoplle that were already called 4 d test on24th, scroll up and read the comments..

ace101: I have been invited for the test as well. It is for the zonal recruitment from last year. It has not been merged with this years recruitment as earlier stated.

Is it true that some people had already received mail invite for test on the 24th of aug for the nerc recruitment, I read it on another forum in NL, can sm1 verify this pls?

@ Edimey, did you applied for the last your vacancies or the current one cos based on information on their website even d closing date has been shifted to 14th of this month and sm1 here made an observation that last year applications have been merged with this year vacancy announcement. So pls which one was ur application?

Hmmm, this is serious. Well, d truth is whever one is invited 4 training, u r deemed to have become an employee of that body and certain etiquette standards are expected of you, it would do us more good to observe those such as oath of secrecy but I haven't read anything that dandutse has posted here which contravenes or reveal anything which cannot be known by opublic. Having said that, ur decision to stay off this forum for all already in training is a wise one. Now 4 d main reason I decided to speak on this matter, Dan duste let me advise you my brother, even after d training never, I repeat never discloses ur identity to the funom guy or any body whatsoever with regards to this NL. Just carry dey go ur own. A good friday is always sighted from a wednesday, if ur comrades in training could descend so low as to using such tactics to fish u out, then u never know what could happen even after thi matter is oput to rest, so don't reveal ur identity as u promised to do pls. Good day House, let me share this news I got frm an inside source: the pple on training are already employed except if they failed to show, and they would resume work immediately after their training. This was necessicated cos of the need to kick start d process of reg and some States have more need for these officers than others, so if u have not received ur training schedule now even though others from ur batch of interview did, does not mean u failed the interview or wouldn't be called, its simply based on need from ur state, and my source told me they would employ abt 4500 pple, and they haven't even reached half of it, there would be more invites for interview and training in d future, so guys relax no shaking.. And 2 new dept in d HQ are supposed to open with new staff. Hope this alleviates most pple concerns. That's all I was told. Happy Sunday to y'all. One luv.

kemzole: Most of the candidates invited for d interview were frm states with fewer staffs in CBN and d interview is over now. pple like me who come frm OYO state have to get a very high score to be invited.

O boy, most of our insiders have gotten d job already, finished training and no longer have any need 4 dis forum oath of secrecy or not, I knew it d moment they get their training call-up, that ll be all. While other insiders were stopped from commenting by their respective relatives in cbn who have since learned about this forum from the last batch that finished training.
However from what I gathered, it is not yet over, more batches of interview would be called in the future, let's just get smth doing 4 dose of us that are unemployed...

tolexydon: if u are yet to be called for an interview u ve got to be patient, d interview has really taken a new shape, i discovered some of d post we are still waiting for has already been called, d truth is, it is no longer taking dt initial order dt we think, they are taking it together now,bt it has nt ended anyway, so Jst be prayerful, as much as u hit d cut off or u hv an oga ať d office or ať d helm of d affairs ,u will still be called,am nt sharing opinion it is reality.....
