House, anyone applied Lega drafting and Commercial transaction heren and did you get an invite 4 interview next week?

Guys, it is true CBN has sent out another batch of interview next and upper week, Lagos and Abuja respectivel. A friend of mine that we sat together 4 d october 19th test was called this week to confirm her location and she subsequently received her email invite yesterday.that's d update my pple and I suspect that cbn has departed from the merit selection but based on who u know, just last couple of weeks, a daughter to a former president was called 4 a test and she also got an invite for interview this week, can't say which president cos my friend did not reveal the identity of d second person, so my pple things have really changed, it has become highly politicalised. Those ones that were lucky to get in earlier, kudos to them, as for us, we look up to Baba God for his miracles.. Or life continues. All this information I have truely verify it.

CBN has started making calls to candidates 4 Oct written test to confirm their location and email today... Guess it must be in preparation to call fopr interview those ones that received d calls..

Where's Wizzy? Let him confirm for us if truely there was anoda set of invite 4 interview pls...

@ Prettychiz4real, you are quite correct, at this age of technology what Nimc should have done is either to send additional message via email since they have our contact emails or publish d names of successful candidates n their various job roles on their website, this would even reduce d volume of request for info to them... And would defintely put minds of candidates at ease.

alasuomowei: 4d sake of those shouting "CORRUPTION", I put it to You that, I received the text and had no connection, no runs, no nothing... I want to explain this to u guys,

some will get the text, some will not... I got to know 4rm the DG'S office that the SCORING PROCESS of applicants started during the online application, remember that some did'nt finish the application but were called 4 aptitude test... Now let me explain the Koko.... There are some graduates that hav no experience, yet they applied 4post meant 4 experienced pple.. Some applied but they are stil undergraduates, remember, at the end of the application, ur to provide NYSC CERTIFICATE NUMBER, then anoda tin to put in mind is that, during the test, if u were able to finish on time b4 50mins and u answered at least 15 to 20 questions correctly, You have a better chance of employment with NIMC..So check Yourself.

My brother, I no understand d last part of ur analysis on d scoring part, what's d cutoff mark? Doest it matter in what time you reach d cutoff? Anyway since u seem to know sm aspect of this recruitment, I have only one question. Has NIMC called experience hire for dis set of interview or is it 4 freshers?

House, let me give u my contribution, its erroneuos top assume that there wouldn't be any sort of interview at all. The last time they employed IT specialists, there was one proper interview and another one which was mere foprmality, in light of that, I advised you guys shld read all about the org,know your CV very well, prepare to say smth abt urself in 3 or 5 minutes, not just read ur CV but how relevant u could be to d function u applied n how u can add value to d Org as a whole, and pray to God to see you thru.. For me am yet to receive any text msg yet, io applied 4 experience position (Legal). Pls does any know if the sms is in batches or know any experience hire that got the text msg? I appreciate ur response,and best of luck to all of u...

hassanlabbo: @naanamee i was told that there's gonna be more invites for the interview buh dnt knw when, just as u posted. Just that i'v sent the info update reply and was told that those with the nextzon info update are likely 2 be invited 4 d next interview. Are u in d training? If no what's up wid u so far. @longbush those invited from kebbi to the training school i believe applied for iCT because so far for us dat did d test on 25th august i think those states with low cbn staff wia invited for the march interview includin u. Pls i want 2 knw how many candidates wia invited in each state for last march interview and the main thing i want to know d fate of us that receivd d info update last march.

@ Hassan, am not in a training, am in d same boat with u, did the test in Oct last year, received all the mails from cbn n nextzon on info uopdate, though I doubt if its a yardstick 4 inviting one 4 interview as virtuaLly almost all d pple I know wrote d test received d nextzon uopdate request, so u see its not possible to call everyone 4 interview, but yet d reason for requesting that update from almost everyone by nextzon has eluded me.

longbush: @hassan.I am from Sokoto, i did the interview in March 2013. we are stil waiting.They may likely call more candidates for interview. Hopely after the training. I was told that some guys from Kebbi are in the training school that started on Monday.

@ Longbush, if some ple are @ d training skull, they have to be from the IT batch not from d March Batch, otherwise, when was there interview finoished and medicals for them top be included in this training? @ Hassanlabo, defiontely there's another set of intervioew coming, when, its hard to say..

wizzy2021: check where ur state falls in the educationally developed states, doing so u will kW whr u fall into.

Wizzy, I still feel the measure of educatinally less developed states could not be used by cbn in this regard for employment, cos that's used only with respect to JAMB for admission purposes. If you tell me they are using the target states (those States with leat representation in Cbn staff strength) I would agree with that basis but ELDS can never be a yardstick for employment in Federal Govt cos that would imply sacrificing merit and encouraging nepotism.

xessimmunity: Make una see me oo... Nextzon sent me a mail to update my data and I was unaware of it until Monday night. The deadline don pass (Sunday 31st) what do I do. And the link they gave me to do my update is not conneting.. House abeg make una help me abeg.. Yeeeeeeeeee!!.

You sef y no dey check ur mail box including d spam? Your option is to contact Nextzon and table ur case but they had extended the exercise twice, everything must have an end, but you may be lucky they extend it 4 a 3rd time, so go on their website call them, but theyu don't pick up their phones and if you reply their cbn recruitment email addy, the email would bounce back, but hey u cld be lucky n jst get tru to them. Its important you do that update, I have a feeliong the next n subsequenty batches of interview to be call would be from the pool of those candidates that successfuilly updated their info...

Pardon me Wizzy, but this analysis of some States been less educationally developoed states as yardstick for cutoff mark of employement to a federal govt organisation doesn't sound right, this is not Jamb na where the ElDS system applies... And I think it wouldn't be fair to the rest of the States to have a higher mark based on that principle, don't u think pple and FCC would protest against that... Just my observation...

wizzy2021: The information reaching me now from my inlaw is that cut off mark for educational developed states is 38%. States from north that r not educational developed is 25%. D states in d middle gets 30%. So my follow igbo brothers make we take heart cos na only ebony b d only educational less developed state.

Wizzy, can you help confirm for me where Gombe state fall in? I know its not among the earlier target list but could fall in educational less developed states. Sm1 checked my scores and I got 35%... But my State is not among the target state but a northern State.

The truth is that sending u email to send ur details has nothing to do with been invited for the interview but its something to b appreciated cos I hv not seen anyone Wu scored less Dan 22% BN SENT D EMAIL. Me self receive my own dis morning. Let's just keep our fingers crossed. Wen its time dey will call pple dey want... Don't forget during d exam dey didn't take our bio data.

Hey Wizzy, was your mail from Nextzon to update ur info or from CBN directly?

All of us that wrote @ uniIlorin never did any biometrics, we just enter d hall after accreditation and wrote the test... No bimetrics..

But there are flights from Lag 2 Abv as early as 6.00 am why not change ur flight time and pay extra... That seems to be a better solution. U can get on line right now and look for an earlier flight.., becausse if u rely on that 10. 20 am flight u ll be suprised cos once the flight is not the first flight, there are always delay, dey won't take off in time.

@ Ouch Daddy and Shaddy, first of all I think we can't equate the process of the IT recruitment with this general one for some obvious reasons, like the issue of concentration on some states with least CBN Staff, but like Shaddy said, it could mean incomplete data as well but that ll mean a lot or larger percentage of those that have written the general test have incomplete data, one thing I know 4 sure is those ones dt would malke to the interview stage would come from both candidates that were contacted for those info and those that were not contacted. Ouch Daddy, I guess am not that helpful in myt analysis, sorry bro..

Well in my own case, I was on question 48 when the time ran out and I have not received any recall sms, and I did the CBN aptitude test where we were informed that d computer would submit automatically even if we did not complete the questions and i passed the test n was called for the interview just last week to hold on 19th march (CBN interview) ooo, and I did not finish d test b4 d time...

ndajiya: my friend dere is no oral interview yet, de r only callin for a make - up test for dose dat did nt participate in d jst concluded test and also dose dat did nt submit during d test.

@ Ndajiya, pls what re u reffering to as those dt did not submit? Cos I didn't click d submit button when I wrote d test, cos I ran off against time, but am sure it automatically submits it self, or do u know otherwise, in any event I have not been sent any sms for a make-up test.. Do u ve or know sm1 with a similar experience?

@ Akabue, thank you for that update... Its gd to read that and the direction of things from that press release, it shows there's hope to hear from Nimc this month.
