First of all there was no CROSS it's just a pole but in Greek "Crux" means stake (pole)

Secondly it was an angel that was transformed into an embro in the womb of a Jewish virgin so the child inherited no sin like other children born through reproductive process.

The angel's brains were miraculously formatted until he grew up to become a man and as he came out of the water after baptism his memory was restored.

It's his perfect human body that's needed as a sacrifice to meet up with Adam's loss that's why he is called the last Adam! 1Corinthians 15:45

At death he returned to none existence only to be raised back as a spirit being (angel) again, his human body taken away as the sacrificial lamb.

But how can his faithful friends know that he is no longer dead if they don't see him?
That's why he has to materialize a body and as he is thinking, acting and speaking like Jesus they realized that he's their friend Jesus with another body. When Thomas one of his faithful friends insisted on seeing him in the former body the angel (resurrection Jesus) materialized into what Thomas need to see of course he couldn't have been going everywhere with holes in his hands.

So a perfect sinless human like Adam has paid for mankind's sins but the angel who carried that body is alive today.

As a Muslim i know you have heard about the ram presented to Abraham for sacrifice.
Either you're Gnostic or a JW, from what I'm reading.

Whichever one, it's better you read the account of the first hand eye witnesses in the Bible.

Nachmonides:
So many inaccuracies and lies.

Groups like Jehovah’s Witnesses argue that Jesus was crucified on a single upright pole, citing the original meaning of stauros. However, this interpretation conflicts with historical Roman practices and some Biblical descriptions.

The Romans used various methods for crucifixion, including stakes, T-shaped crosses (crux commissa), and traditional crosses (crux immissa).

Archaeological evidence, like the remains of a crucified man found in Jerusalem (Yehohanan), shows that Roman crucifixion often involved nailing victims to cross-shaped structures.

Inscription Above His Head:

Matthew 27:37 states that an inscription was placed "above his head." This suggests a vertical structure with space above Jesus' head for the sign, which aligns with a cross rather than a single stake.

Use of Nails and "Hands Spread Out":

John 20:25 mentions nail marks in Jesus' hands, suggesting that his arms were outstretched.

Luke 23:26 and Matthew 27:32 mention Simon of Cyrene helping Jesus carry the stauros, implying it was heavy and large enough to require assistance.
While definitive physical evidence is lacking, the majority of historical and linguistic evidence points to Jesus being crucified on a traditional † or T-shaped cross, as it aligns with Roman methods and the Biblical narrative.

Rev.1.8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega--the beginning and the end," says the Lord God. "I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come, the Almighty One." (ALL)

Rev.21.5 - And the one sitting on the throne said, "Look, I am making all things new!" And then he said to me, "Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true."
Rev.21.6 - And he also said, "It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega--the Beginning and the End. To all who are thirsty I will give the springs of the water of life without charge!
Rev.21.7 - All who are victorious will inherit all these blessings, and I will be their God, and they will be my children.

Rev.21.8 - But cowards who turn away from me, and unbelievers, and the corrupt, and murderers, and the immoral, and those who practice witchcraft, and idol worshipers, and all liars--their doom is in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur. This is the second death."

Rev.22.12 - "See, I am coming soon, and my reward is with me, to repay all according to their deeds.
Rev.22.13 - I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End."

Luke.14.14 - Then at the resurrection of the godly, God will reward you for inviting those who could not repay you."
1Pet.3.14 - But even if you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don't be afraid and don't worry.
Thank you for the detailed response. I see your argument linking the titles 'Alpha and Omega' with God the Father in Revelation 1:8 and 21:5-8. These passages do affirm the Father's use of these titles.

However, in Revelation 22:12-15, the context seems to point to Jesus as the speaker. Verse 12 starts with 'Behold, I am coming soon,' which aligns with Jesus’ repeated declarations of His return (e.g., Revelation 22:7, 22:20). Furthermore, verse 16 explicitly identifies the speaker as Jesus: 'I, Jesus, have sent my angel...,' which seems to tie verses 12-15 to Him directly.

What do you think about the connection between verse 16 and the preceding verses?

If V.16 begins with “I, Jesus, sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches.

Which things, the ones said before or after (5 last verses)?

If God is the one coming in V.12, and then V.13 says he is the Alpha and the Omega.

What do you have to say about Revelation 1:4-8

Who is the one coming that every eye will see?—which then follows with the I am the Alpha and the Omega statement.

Revelation 22 the angel reveals the river of life flowing from God's throne and from the Lamb and then the tree of life
The angel spoke from Revelation 22:6-11
And God spoke from Revelation 22:12-15
And Jesus spoke in Revelation 22:16
Then the spirit and the bride spoke in Revelation 22:17

Then John concludes
Rev.22.20 - He who is the faithful witness to all these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon!" Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!
Rev.22.21 - The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you all.
Awesome.

Verse 12 begins with "Behold, I am coming soon," which is consistent with Jesus' repeated declarations of His return (e.g., Revelation 22:7, 22:20).

In verse 16, the speaker explicitly identifies Himself as Jesus: "I, Jesus, have sent my angel..." This ties the preceding verses (including 13) to Jesus.

What makes you say it is God (the Father) that spoke from VV.12-15?
Based on context.

It is because you are a deceiver
Who quoted writing "After Revelation 1:8,
John turns to see the voice speaking to him and describes a vision of Jesus."

Did John write anything about turning around to look for the voice speaking but because you reject what John wrote that it is said by the Lord God, even if he doesn't say who it is, the worship of the angels and the elders reveal who God is, but you.

This is what John then heard
Rev.1.11 It said, "Write down what you see, and send it to the seven churches: Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea." (NLT)

A verse you deceptively left out which was before he turned like I already stated
Alright, I read that too.

What's your take on that. I understand that John is telling us how he got the Revelation he wrote down.

What do you understand there?

Nachmonides:
Yes I read that.

Yes I agree with you that Jesus sent his angel.

So, I see no disagreement with that. What's the disagreement after this? — in Revelation
And then I posted about VV.13 and 16; let me post 12 through 16

12 “Behold, I am coming quickly, and my reward is with me, to repay each one according to what his deeds are!
13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.”
14 Blessed are the ones who wash their robes, so that their authority will be over the tree of life and they may enter into the city through the gates. 15 Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the sexually immoral people and the murderers and the idolaters and everyone who loves and who practices falsehood.
16 “I, Jesus, sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.”

My question, since it's agreed that the angel is the one testifying here, what is he testifying about in VV.13-16 in your own words Gohf

You went through stress.

John 1:1 was enough for me to know that one was deceptive.

The Context of Revelation 1:12-18: After Revelation 1:8,
John turns to see the voice speaking to him and describes a vision of Jesus. In Revelation 1:13-16, the figure John sees is clearly Jesus, with descriptions like "one like a son of man" (which is a title Jesus often used for Himself), and the physical traits (e.g., a robe, a golden sash, white hair, and eyes like flames of fire) match the imagery given for Jesus in other parts of the New Testament (e.g., the Gospels and Daniel 7).

Jesus' Self-Identification in Revelation: Later in Revelation 22:13, Jesus Himself says, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End." This is the same title used in Revelation 1:8. When Jesus identifies Himself this way, it is clear that He is claiming divine attributes of eternity and sovereignty, which aligns with the "Lord God" described in 1:8.
Gohf, what do you have to say about this?

It was actually Jesus that said the "I am" statements

And here again is another lie from one who refuses to see the truth

Here is what is actually written

Rev.1.8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega--the beginning and the end," says the Lord God. "I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come, the Almighty One." (NLT)

Says who, God himself the Father

But when the son is revealed this what John saw and wrote

Rev.1.13 - And standing in the middle of the lampstands was the Son of Man. He was wearing a long robe with a gold sash across his chest.
Rev.1.14 - His head and his hair were white like wool, as white as snow. And his eyes were bright like flames of fire.
Rev.1.15 - His feet were as bright as bronze refined in a furnace, and his voice thundered like mighty ocean waves.
Rev.1.16 - He held seven stars in his right hand, and a sharp two-edged sword came from his mouth. And his face was as bright as the sun in all its brilliance.
Rev.1.17 - When I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. But he laid his right hand on me and said, "Don't be afraid! I am the First and the Last.
Rev.1.18 - I am the living one who died. Look, I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and the grave.

Jesus the first and the last, the only one who is our Lord, our Christ, the one who died.

And in none of the introduction to the seven churches does Jesus introduce himself as God.

Let him post them out, for those patient enough to gain understanding and wisdom from God

Rev.2.1 "Write this letter to the angel of the church in Ephesus. This is the message from the one who holds the seven stars in his right hand, the one who walks among the seven gold lampstands:

Rev.2.8 "Write this letter to the angel of the church in Smyrna. This is the message from the one who is the First and the Last, who died and is alive:

Rev.2.12 "Write this letter to the angel of the church in Pergamum. This is the message from the one who has a sharp two-edged sword:

Rev.2.18 "Write this letter to the angel of the church in Thyatira. This is the message from the Son of God, whose eyes are bright like flames of fire, whose feet are like polished bronze:

Jesus here CALLS HIMSELF THE SON OF GOD

Rev.3.1 "And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, "These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: "I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.

Now for those who keep saying the Spirit of God is God so therefore equal to trinity, you forgot to add the seven spirits of God o

Rev.3.7 "Write this letter to the angel of the church in Philadelphia. This is the message from the one who is holy and true. He is the one who has the key of David. He opens doors, and no one can shut them; he shuts doors, and no one can open them. (NLT)

Rev.3.14 "Write this letter to the angel of the church in Laodicea. This is the message from the one who is the Amen--the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God's creation: (NLT)

Then the next chapter John saw a revelation of God, he saw One sitting on a throne
Rev.4.8 Each of these living beings had six wings, and their wings were covered with eyes, inside and out. Day after day and night after night they keep on saying, "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty--the one who always was, who is, and who is still to come."
And the 24 elders
Rev.4.11 "You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created everything, and it is for your pleasure that they exist and were created."

Rev.5.1 And I saw a scroll in the right hand of the one who was sitting on the throne. There was writing on the inside and the outside of the scroll, and it was sealed with seven seals.

Will they read this, or will they avoid it. Those who want to be saved will not avoid the truth they will run to it and forsake all
Rev.5.5 - But one of the twenty-four elders said to me, "Stop weeping! Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the heir to David's throne, has conquered. He is worthy to open the scroll and break its seven seals."
Rev.5.6 - I looked and I saw a Lamb that had been killed but was now standing between the throne and the four living beings and among the twenty-four elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God that are sent out into every part of the earth.
Rev.5.9 - And they sang a new song with these words: "You are worthy to take the scroll and break its seals and open it. For you were killed, and your blood has ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.
Rev.5.10 - And you have caused them to become God's Kingdom and his priests. And they will reign on the earth."

Did I not quote this already, this verse 12, now before God whom I stand I speak these words and anyone who calls it a lie let it be recorded against them. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom but fools love their own ways.

I speak with authority and boldness of the one who sent me.

Rev.5.12 - And they sang in a mighty chorus: "The Lamb is worthy--the Lamb who was killed. He is worthy to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing."

But then they didn't worship him alone but God who was the one sitting on the throne and the lamb, verse 13.

Then God spoke in Rev.21.5 - And the one sitting on the throne said, "Look, I am making all things new!" And then he said to me, "Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true."

And God spoke again in Revelation 22
Rev.22.12 - "See, I am coming soon, and my reward is with me, to repay all according to their deeds.
Rev.22.13 - I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End."
Rev.22.14 - Blessed are those who wash their robes so they can enter through the gates of the city and eat the fruit from the tree of life.
Rev.22.15 - Outside the city are the dogs--the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idol worshipers, and all who love to live a lie.

Then the Lamb, Jesus, beside God spoke,
Rev.22.16 - "I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this message for the churches. I am both the source of David and the heir to his throne. I am the bright morning star."

Are you still going to deny God's word?
Hebrews 13:8 : " Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever."

Does it not sound like the Revelation 1:8 when it says "...says the Lord God. "I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come, the Almighty One." ?

We see the same thing said for Jesus in Hebrews, said for God in Revelation

you can't find Jesus is God from the apostles but you would have to go to the traditions that nachmonides fails to admit nor answer whenever I mention the gnostics.

The nicea decrea? You have failed using the Bible now to want to venture into another gray area, would you flee again once light is poured there?
Perhaps I missed the message.

I am not shying away from explaining anything if I can and I am not afraid of saying "I don't know about this" or "My knowledge is limited in this area". If I avoided it, I must have perceived foolishness or temptation (like the question you asked about standards) smiley

I haven't called you a brood of vipers, so do state the insult you felt insulted with

But you have been insolent in this that you have disregarded what was written and opted to continue to proclaim what God never revealed nor said and in light of God's word what were your responses. Yet you come here to accuse ALL of my texts which shows your disrespect in probably not even reading them but assuming what was written in them was an insult to you.

I called you blind didn't I did, here again you show yourself blind
Did you feel insulted in your pride believing all I wrote was for you or about you, even when I repeated said it wasn't?

You proclaim yourself and defend it, but I proclaim Christ the son of God and show it from the Bible.

I do apologize that you feel insulted but I am not here to praise or glorify you in anyway especially when you disrespect God's word with the way you handle it.
There's no need for that.
It's fine. wink

Gohf, your derogatory, or degrading, or insulting remark in almost all of your texts have amused me.

You see, the spirit I'm of makes me immune to the ungodly reactions the flesh would naturally desire.
Please continue, I'll show you I'm not like the Pharisees whom Jesus would lash at and would react ungodly, showing the spirit they were of.

He hasn't for you do not even know him

Do you think that by calling him Lord lord you will enter the kingdom of God who do and teach your own will and doctrine?!
Jesus is God, he is Lord, he is the Alpha and Omega. The beginning and the end, the first and the last.

go to Jesus Christ the son of God let him remove it for you, maybe you will hear what the Holy Spirit says.
He has, glory be to the Lord Jesus Christ, the one true God. Maker of heaven and earth, saviour of the world and the prince of peace, Lord of Lords.

you never heard but because you claim to hear, who will open your ears?

If though Jesus admitted to be the son of God, they asked him over and over again.
This is childish.
To everyone reading this thread, Gohf cannot post the John 1:1 text of his/her bible, and that of the Greek.

A very simple request.
