1. Lagos - Tinubu
No one will be able to beat Lagos because it's his base, he may not win with a very big margin but he will win Lagos.

2. Kano - Kwankwaso
This is kwankwaso's base, he's very popular here and he has cult of fol2 in this state. I doubt if anyone can beat him here, even if he doesn't win any other state, kwankwaso will most likely win here.

3. Kaduna - to close to call
Has to be between Tinubu or Atiku, Kwankwaso and Obi will also get a lot of votes here.

4. Rivers - Peter Obi
There's no doubt Peter Obi will win here. He's too popular to lose even the PDP structure cannot really do much to stop him since BVAS is available.

5. Katsina--to close to call
Atiku and Tinubu will mostly win but kwankwaso will also do well.

6. Delta - Peter Obi
Peter Obi will win here, the people here are seriously against Okowa. This place is like Rivers and okowa may garner many votes for Atiku but it won't be enough to win the states. If this election was to be happening before the introduction of BVAS, PDP would have all it takes to rig the state for Atiku.

7. Oyo- Tinubu
The Yoruba factor will give Tinubu the win here.

8. Benue - Peter obi
Peter Obi is extremely popular here. PDP or APC may win the governorship seat but Peter Obi is too popular here for Atiku and Tinubu to win. And they don't want anything to do with Fulanis, which is the minus for Atiku. Tinubu is not very popular in this state.

9. Bauchi - Atiku
This is a strong PDP state, has huge Fulani/Hausa population, everything is in place for Atiku here.

10. Anambra - Peter Obi
Well, is this not obvious?

the edges are good it because you seeing it in a picture and we have the tools we use for the edges and yes I have but some are polished and some are not sir and some time we turn the Gary to black when polishing due to the client choice sir

This is cool. It's the glowy polished finishing I don't like. How much for something like this per square meter? Can something be done to make the edges look better than it is in the pics? Do you have any pics of one installed with the gray hardener?

Someone should please clarify, I did the screening and I was approved. I haven't received any email for training just text (for screening). Is the training presently going on for facilitators or special work force? Because I am a facilitator. Someone with insight should help.

Training for facilitators has not started. The ongoing online training is for special workforce. Facilitators will get notification for training this week hopefully.

First of all, you guys should disregard the positions like special workforce, facilitators, field coordinator, etc. The commission are training all of the ad-hoc they choosed at the moment. Performance in the text will determine where you will eventually be placed during the main exercise. Refer to the attached picture for more information.

For those that were invited for physical screening and didn't attend when instructed, I can't say whether you have been disqualified or not but I will advise you guys visit the screening venue and try your luck since the online/physical training will end on the 11th.

The physical screening was just to check for your academic document. Some were not called for physical screening but their application was approved. States which are not considered safe didn't hold physical screening. Instead, they checked the application and selected people that they think are qualified. Example are those that applied to work in Kogi. Due to the recent bomb blast in the state, those chosen had their profiles approved without any physical screening.

No where in the image you attached shows we should disregard the roles we applied for as everything there mentioned specialised workforce. The commission wouldn't be stupid to do what you are trying to say.

Help a newbie pls. I ordered 3 items, two on 28th Dec and one on 30th Dec. This is what I got when I tracked the one I ordered last. The other 2 are saying the packages have left for destination country. Now does this means my last order has already arrived naija.

So left Nigeria on the 25th December (Xmas day) (memorable day..lol)Landed in Toronto on the 26th.

Check in was stressful cos I had a lot to carry(no regrets tho) helps save cost while you navigate being a first timer in a Canada.

Check in Toronto was a breeze..lots of people arriving that day..baggage claim was stressful tho cos of the influx of people trying to get their luggage(s).

Officers just asked for my Study permit and a consent letter from dad(since he didn’t travel with us). I actually had the letter for Nigeria immigration (little did I know Canada immigration will ask ). Noticed these officers ask for things randomly..they don’t ask travelers for same requirements.

Booked a regular taxi to our hotel cos the Uber we booked won’t carry my two year old without a car seat..(haven’t had car seat issue since then) that particular Uber was just overly dramatic..tho it’s essential to have a car seat and a stroller still…

Hotel check in was easy..enjoyed my hotel and wished I would stay all through till I get an apartment..

Unfortunately,I spent just five days and moved to an Airbnb..currently at the Airbnb (nice apartment..fully furnished and feels like home.

Haven’t done anything major as it’s not an easy task getting an apartment cos of Choice,budget,Proximity to my school cos of the kids and most importantly requirements.The requirements from home owners/landlords are not what immigrants would have but of course,there are alternatives for this requirements like paying upfront or getting a guarantor (someone who lives in that province and meets all requirements to stand as a guarantor.

House search is still on…hopefully,I seal one soon..there are lots of house agents one can work with (Nigerians).

Popular places to search for houses online are kijiji,Facebook market place (beware of scam tho)

Getting an apartment is the key to other things like schooling and daycare for the kids..without getting a permanent apartment enrolling your kids in school and daycares may be impossible.

I rest my gist until I am fully settled…

In all, The country is cool..may have a rough start cos of course,it’s relocation (relocation is huge)

In all..it’s a 10/10 place to be..

I was sent a mail on new year day to come for screening at their state office on the 2nd of January. I went for the screening and my application was approved.

The essence of the screening is to approve you at the end. There wasn't any form of documentation so I don't think it is necessary again. Only thing is that we signed an attendance sheet which I doubt will be used for anything again. So long as you have been approved, you have no issue. Moreover, the screening exercise has even ended.

No I'm not. But according to the NPC schedule, screening of facilitators was for 28th Dec to 2nd Jan.

Facilitators that did the screening should wait a bit for it to be approved before the account details part. I did my screening on Saturday it was approved today.

Mine was approved the very minute I was screened. I checked the portal immediately after stepping out of the screening room and saw approved. I sharply inputed my account details.

I thought after filling the availability form, they will contact us on when to go and where to go to. Do you advise I go to their office in my state since it is closing today as stated in the SMS? And what documents should I hold?

I went to their office this morning and truly the text message sent by MAlert to would-be facilitators is genuine. I sharply did my screening. All I was asked to present was my highest educational certificate. Immediately I left their, my application status on the portal moved from pending to approved. A field to provide my account details also popped up which I did. Today is the last day for the screening exercise, so if you apply for facilitator position and have gotten that text message, you can do well to visit the NPC office in your state.

Guy I gone Tru most comments at this stage most state started their screening on Thursday 29th and 30th I got an sms for the screening I did mine on Friday and by Saturday I login my status changed from Pending to Approved and it asked me for my account details but I recall correctly the guy who screened us was telling someone on phone that the portal was still open for Anambra state because they haven't gotten to their benchmark..... As for the screening they would only ask questions then view ones highest educational qualification and NIN I'd that's all.... And we were told the training is taking place this January and it will be 6days class work then 4days field work.....

PPR !!! For a family of five.
My spouse traveled to Canada on student visa in August 2022. I applied for myself and three kids in October 2022.
Timeline
1. Family application, Sowp for me, study permit for two of the kids and visit visa for the third kid on the 21st October
2. Biometrics on the 27th October
3. Medical request by IRCC on the 28th November
4. Medical screening submitted on 27th and passed on 28th December
5. PPR on the 30th for all members of the family.

I appreciate nairaland as I did everything on my own and from information gotten here.

Note: I used the old gckey account my spouse used in getting her study permit.

Pls as soon as ur spouse lands in Canada you can put in ur application as it's not necessary to wait as most people presume.
