PPR !!! For a family of five.
My spouse traveled to Canada on student visa in August 2022. I applied for myself and three kids in October 2022.
Timeline
1. Family application, Sowp for me, study permit for two of the kids and visit visa for the third kid on the 21st October
2. Biometrics on the 27th October
3. Medical request by IRCC on the 28th November
4. Medical screening submitted on 27th and passed on 28th December
5. PPR on the 30th for all members of the family.

I appreciate nairaland as I did everything on my own and from information gotten here.

Note: I used the old gckey account my spouse used in getting her study permit.

Pls as soon as ur spouse lands in Canada you can put in ur application as it's not necessary to wait as most people presume.

1. Mbs statement for me and my spouse
2. Leave letter from office
3. 3 months Pay slip
4. Pension statement of account
5. IELTS
6. WES evaluation
7. Kids letter from school
8. Landed documents

10. Employment letter, promotion letter

It's faster and better to go for SOWP instead of visit visa.....

For Example

If I buy $1 from Aboki at N800

The official exchange rate at banks is N400 to $1

Then I go to the bank to deposit the $1 in my dom account or to fund my dollar card

I hand over my $1 dollar to the teller and provide my dom account details or my dollar card number

The bank will credit my dom account or dollar card with $1

Then I come to AliExpress and buy an item that cost $1 with my dollar card and I will be charged the official N400 dollar to naira change rate

Is this how it works?

Mind you I paid aboki more to exchange my naira for dollar.

Nothing confusing. You deposited $1 in your dollar account so you are spending that exact $1 dollar you deposited when you shop with your dollar card. It isn't a naira account you are spending from.

Firstly I read here that it isn't advisable to use white cement screeding for exteriors and one should use ash cement instead... Now someone is saying Ash cement cracks and white cement should be used instead..

Now the question is, which is the best for exterior?

I don't even plan on screeding the exterior cos of the kind of paint I want to use but I'm sure someone here who intends to screed will need the best advice.

I also have been wondering. Cos here we were told to only use POP cement for screeding the interior because it can not withstand the weather elements outside, but we are all of a sudden now told to do otherwise again. We need clarification from the gurus.
