PracticalSteps:
I remember someone came to complain at their pick up point the only time I ever bought from them, that he was yet to receive his refund after a long time. Sellers on far away AliExpress had sent me goods twice that are not of the same specs as advertised, I had no problem getting refund without even asking me to return the items. That's how to treat a customer.
Jumia is terrible

They were actually good before. I think it's just the Nigerian business system that's not favorable for them again. I mean, around 2018, I bought my first major phone on there, 80k and it was delivered within two days. I've had issues with deliveries which was replaced or I got refunded between 8 days. That was before 2020. Now taxes and maybe change of management is killing them.

They may have been doing good but customer trust is one thing they must not lose irrespective of Nigeria economy

How can I explain that my items that was duly returned to them could not be accounted for again?

I think they have a lot of criminals as agents and their service delivery have been below par ..

Jumia has been fuqing up since 2019, seems the recession affected them. Normally, it takes two or three days to deliver stuffs but now, it takes five or six days.

They don't bother regulating the products on their website, as long as they make their gain.
Idk why they want to ruin their website themselves.

I dislike konga because of the website's look and feel, it's dull and looks like scam.

Jumia has shown me shege..

They are so careless with poor service delivery

Very bad

Sometime in 2018 I bought a phone for my dad from Jumia. When the phone arrived we discovered that the mouthpiece was faulty.
I initiated a return and the item was picked up. About four days later, they sent a message that the USB cable we included wasn't the original one, then they sent pictures of one dirty cable.
The charger and the cable wasn't even removed from the box in the first place because we already had many chargers at home and even the agent that came to collect it confirmed the content of the box.
Jumia refused to refund me and anytime I contact them, they'll tell me to go and bring the USB cable first. After over a month, I had to order another cable from Aliexpress and then send it to them before they released my money.

Very bad.

They have a very poor service delivery..

I hope the mods would take this to front page

My Experience shopping on Jumia online store

Terrible experience and I feel they are breeding thieves as agents.

On the 23rd of january 2023, I decided to purchase 2 IN 1 universal wireless microphone on Jumia. After, a serious search for my spec ,I finally settled for one with the hope that the seller would send the same specification to me.

I added the details of the person that would receive the products for me. When the goods arrived on 1st feb 2023, I was duly notified by the person that the items were different from the specifications posted on Jumia, and I immediately initiated a return policy from my end, which Jumia acknowledged by saying that once the products gets to them, my refund would be sent in 3-7 business days.

After some days, Jumia agent called my friend with this number: 09166608377 in order to confirm where she was , afterwards he came to Nnamdi azikiwe university teaching hospital Nnewi Anambra state, and collected the items.

After 10 days, I did not receive a refund from Jumia. I logged on to my jumia account and discovered that they have written non-returnable on that particular product.

I called Jumia to register my unhappiness about their service delivery. They requested for the number of the agent that collected the items, which I did and they said that they would initiate another return from their side. I thought initiating another return means to verify from their end.

After some days, another agent called that he wanted to pick up the items, and my friend informed him that those items had earlier being returned to Jumia and she provided the number of the other agent that picked up the items. He said he will verify.

Till date, we are yet to hear anything from Jumia. I have called the agent directly, and he said that he could not remember where he kept the goods.

I have called their customer care several times and they are yet to respond positively to my complaints.

Even the agent, has stopped picking my calls. This is his second number: 08029969365.

Presently, Jumia is not responding positively to my complains and they keep postponing my grievances.

My observations: it seems the agent had sold off my goods.

My Questions: why will Jumia employ thieves as staff?

Horrible experience in the hands of Jumia....

Very poor service delivery

Qinglong:
It's saturated for entry-level devs. Just check Reddit and you'll see CS graduates with internships applying for 100+ jobs and begging for any kind of help they can get. Not easy at all.

There's some seniors that make dedicated Slack/Discord channels for juniors to refer/recommend each other and get jobs, though I have only seen for the US. Anyway, both learning and getting a job doesn't seem to be easy at all. Let's just do our best and hope it favors us in the end.

Pls hw do I join such channels?

OyigboUpdate:

If they are thieves how much did they ask for?
Secondly was this not how they kidnapped and beheaded Okechukwu in Anambra. The people that was narrating also called them thieves. But later on the ESN that kidnapped him dropped a letter closed to his severed head writing that they are fighting for Biafra. Keep lying to yourself

This was not a case of IPOB/ESN.

I watched the video you posted and it was not recorded that it was IPOB/ESN that carried the attack.

I'm from Anambra and I know that area very well because it's close to my town.. When such kind of attacks occur, you should be looking at deal gone wrong or kidnapping gone wrong or purely politics..

Ifeanyi ubah should be questioned very well about this.

When you sit comfortably at lagos and idbadan expressway and make analysis, this is the kind of result you will deduce. Notwithstanding, if you are observant of what is happening in South east, you will discover that IPOB has soft pedalled very well due to the emergence of obi. Simon ekpa and group are bunch of retards that would be taken care of as time goes. As for what happened in Enugu, I will tell you that it was purely politically sponsored.

For anyone doubting the resolve of Wike to work for Asiwaju, this is your answer. I love the bolded, support who you will benefit from.

With Wike, Asiwaju can be sure of at least 25% of the votes which is a great feat considering the fact that both Obi & Atiku will dilute each other votes. If you fail to secure bloc vote from Rivers, where else will Atiku get the numbers in the South?

The only thing that can give Atiku a lifeline in this election is if Peter Obi withdraw for him coz for every one vote Peter Obi gets, it is -1 for PDP and +1 for APC.

God bless wicked Wike, the slayer of IPOB terrorists, and the nemesis of Atiku.

This would have been possible in the former era but not in the era of BVAS

Rivers is on total lockdown for PO

Tinubunwill never get 25% from rivers.

Mark it somewhere....
