Have they or will they (local hunters) hand over these weapons to the military? Things like that should not be in the hands of civilians...

They hand them over to the military, who then add up to their own and show case it without acknowledgment of the local Hunters.
This is why they intended to hold their own press conference before such weapons are returned to the military

Sarkin Baka and his team of Local Hunters captured these weapons in Adamawaa separate fight with Boko haram members in Gombi, LGA of Adamawa State. The local Hunters attacked one Boko haram base, while another base was attacked by NA. Both attack were swift and conducted at the same time.

Chadian leader Idriss Deby answered present at the Ndjamena International airport to receive the bodies of the 17 Chadian soldiers killed in Cameroon and Nigeria by the Nigerian Islamic sect Boko Haram. The Chadian servicemen were killed in Fotokol and Gambaru. The 17 were buried on Friday at the Ndjamena Military Cemetery. Before burial, the 17 soldiers of the Chadian army were decorated posthumously by the Head of Government of Chad, Kalzeubé Payimi Deubet.

Chadian troops has just liberated Northeasthern Nigerian town, #MALAM_FATORI.

And just so you know, Mallam Fatori is bordered with Niger and not Chad. So, I'm wondering how Chadian troops tranverse all the to northwest of Borno and recaptured Malam Fatori. My take is that they took Boko haram unaware, thinking that they Chadian Forces will likely advance thru Baga or Keinuwa in the eastern part.

Kenya launches air ambulance service for Troops fighting Al Shabab

President Kenyatta says the new ambulances will benefit troops on the front line
Kenya has launched its first national air ambulance service to evacuate security forces wounded in battle.
President Uhuru Kenyatta said the service was vital to ensure they received swift treatment.
The initiative is likely to boost the morale of security personnel facing multiple threats, a BBC reporter says.
Some soldiers and policemen have bled to death or have died of dehydration in remote areas of Kenya because of long delays in getting them to hospital.
The BBC’s Wanyama Chebusiri in the capital, Nairobi, says the government has now reached a deal with the Red Cross and private firm AMREF Flying Doctors to despatch helicopters and vehicles as soon as distress calls are received.
The new evacuation service will also be offered to civil servants, especially those who work in the security field in rural areas with few medical facilities, our reporter says.
Somali Islamist group al-Shabab has stepped up attacks in Kenya in recent years.
Last month, the militants killed 64 people in two attacks in the north-eastern region of Mandera, which borders Somalia.
Kenya’s security forces struggle to get treatment in remote areas
“This is a crucial service, especially for our security officers, who put themselves on the front line against our enemies, to ensure that Kenyans are safe wherever they are,” Mr Kenyatta said at the launch in Nairobi.
