WombRaiders:This is not politics, where did you see PDP or APC. This is about reactions to some questions raised. Did any one tell you Christians where attacked or Churches burnt. |
The OP is right, there was indeed a small riot around old jimeta market, which resulted in police firing to disperse a growing number of rioters. What actually happened was that immediately after Friday prayers, someone took the microphone from the Chief Iman and made a statement, suggesting that * the recent series of helicopters crashes, * the recent helicopter crash in which some foreign nationals with arms are involved * CAN President private jet & arm smuggling in South Africa * the refusal of GEJ to authorize the Civilian JTF to go after Boko Haram despite the recent success they achieved in Mubi, * the recent directive from the IGP that state Commissioners should curtail the activities of vigilante groups nationwide All points to the fact that GEJ is deliberately or actively promoting Boko Haram. With this statement, the Chief Iman refused to stop the man provocative statement and did not react to it neither did he try to stop him. With this, the District Head removed the Chief Iman from his post with immediate effect, this action triggered a wave of protest from people who shared or believe the angle of GEJ as the C-C of Boko Haram. However, I don't think any lost of life and the situation is right now under control |
Most of them are refurbished helicopters. |
Arch1:Can I have the link to this SITREP |
The helicopter in question just flew over our house making some loud noise about 30 minutes ago, then we heard a loud noise. My brother made some calls around Girel area and it was reliably informed that indeed an helicopter just crashed. As you all know a curfew is in place in Yola. Issue of survivals I can't say right Now. |
Another update, Local Hunters are on the trail of fleeing Boko Haram members, who while retreating from Mubi trying to find an escape route to Sambisa forest are creating havoc around Gombi and Hong LGA |
I have made triple confirmation that indeed it was another Helicopter Crash. This time around its far from the frontline, precisely just about 15km away from Yola. |
Am receiving a report of another Helicopter Crash In Girel, Adamawa State. Right Now |
Lf. Umar Muhammad killed in Action In Mubi. ‘O Allaah, forgive and have mercy upon him, excuse him and pardon him, and make honorable his reception. Expand, his entry, and cleanse him with water, snow, and ice, and purify him of sin as a white robe is purified of filth. Exchange his home for a better home, and his family for a better family, and his spouse for a better spouse. Admit him into the Garden, protect him from the punishment of the grave and the torment of the Fire.’

Maiha has not fallen, only some villages near the main town was attack |
Give me 30 minutes to confirm the status of Maiha |
Did any one of you open the source to confirm or authenticate the report. NO BTW I didn't see Buhari name on it |
BlackTechnology:The answer is NO. It was the emergence of Civilian JTF in Maiduguri that drove Boko Haram out of the main town to Sambisa forest. The military operated in Maiduguri for 4 years without success, it took the civilian JTF only two weeks to drive Boko Haram out of Maiduguri. Ihejirika was only busy rounding innocent youth up and down killing them. While at the same time selling arms to the real Boko Haram. If I may ask, after Boko Haram went to Sambisa forest, why didn't he finish the Job? why did he immediately disband JTF that was a combination of Military, Police, a specially trained Immigration Special Force. And replaced it with a purely ineffective 7 DIV that was solely military? You better tell that Ihejirika to reassemble another team of lawyers because his cases about to receive the desire attention it needed in the international court of law. |
Never ever underestimate the greed and the 'longthroatness' of the ibos. Aguyi ironsi, an ibo man abolished regionalism and foisted the unitary system of government on us. The ibos supported it, ojuku applauded it, but when aguyi ironsi died and the ibos lost out of the power play, they decided to form one useless Biafra republic. Democracy is about numbers ad alliance so get that into your brain OP Besides, if the north wants power back is it a bad Thing? is it not democracy? we voluntary ceded power to the south when we massively voted for OBJ a Christian from the south, we massively voted for Abiola and infact Tofa a Kano man lost Kano to Abiola. Before the election of Abiola, Yaradua won an election that was annulled by the same military that annulled Abiola election. Haba, I don't really know what's wrong with these Igbos, You are not at peace with Yoruba..you are not at peace with Northerners....you are temporarily at peace with the Ijaw nation because you see Jonathan as favouring your people in term of ephemeral political patronage. |
@ OP Imaging an ibo man preaching humanity to us telling us about born to rule . If your fore-fathers had practiced what you are preaching in 2014, we would not had the stupid war. If your fore-fathers had practiced humanity and they are not desperate for power they would not have cowardly killed the leaders of other regions while they spared thier own brothers. Offensive photographs showing Major Nzeogwu standing on the late Sardauna of Sokoto were said to be distributed in the open including market places. Some Igbos were even alleged to have worn stickers to that effect and were eager, in conversations with northerners, to point to Nzeogwu saying ‘Shi ne maganin ku”, meaning “he is the one who can knock sense into you”. Celestine Ukwu, a popular Igbo musician allegedly released a piece titled “Ewu Ne Ba Akwa” meaning “Goats are crying” in Igbo |
Manchester City are EPL champion but they normally get outplayed in the UCL, this does not make them unworthy EPL CHAMPION. |
Ibnsultan:Not a word yet, but we have hope they might be holed up somewhere. My anger with the Nigeria Army has to do with how they ran away. Well, I just spoke with some of my family friends amongst the CIVILIAN JTF on the frontline. It was a disappointing story all together, Three APC & just two Hilux truck of the Boko Haram engaged and disloadged three complete Nig. Army Batallion (over 3,000 soldiers) along Uba -Hildi axis in Adamawa state yesterday. The highly motivated BHT advanced and took over the Bat HQT in Mubi today with minimal resistance from our fleeing troops. |
Nigerian Army na fu-ck up |
My Mubi under siege, still can't believe it, three of my Cousins are still unaccounted for, |
Go and waste him Go and waste him I don't want to see him go and waste him. These fools just wasted vital information. Interrogate the idiot and then waste him after. |
Faun: Death to all Northerners. You sound like a JAKI |
To compound the matter, our Alpha jet we dey use do small gragra is missing |
The truth is gradually unfolding, from Australia now SA. Make I sing my NYSC song ~ Jejeje we dey go oh jeje we dey go oh jeje. The real sponsors of Boko Haram are showing themselves. Allah mun Gode |
Rikidony: HELLO LISTEN I DONT JOKE WITH THIS SORT OF NEWS BE SPECIFIC DONT JOKE WITH ISSUES OF NATIONAL SECURITY. THE QUESTION IS HOW SURE ARE YOU WHEN DID U GET THE INFO. ANY MORE INSIGHT ABOUT ITAs I said I got the news from a source I have no reason to doubt. Borno state is my area, I ve lost family members to this madness, am in no mood for games or joke. I just want this madness to end and any positive news regarding success on the part of Nigeria army is a welcome news. let's just cross our legs and wait for the breaking news hopefully tomorrow. By Allah's will Nigeria army will triumph. |
Information am getting from family and Friends in Madagali and Mubi indicate the Nigeria army might have recaptured Gwoza Town from Boko Haram members. That right now fighting is still on going in an attempt to rid the town from pocket of insurgents still lurking around, Pls pray for our boys, they deserve our prayers in this defining moment of our history. |
Chibok people need to be evacuated immediately,. The town is in between Gwoza Sambisa, Biu and Damboa, that makes thier boundry with Biu as the only safe place for now. I hope you know how notorious the other places I mentioned are with BH. Secondly, The army in Chibok is just a platoon not upto a battalion, that makes them a walk over for BH when ever they decides to attack. They have a Civilian-JTF and any town that has that is mercilessly dealt with when ever BH captures it. Lastly, BH wont tolerate a town so close to it is borders under Nigerian control." |
giles14: hmmm babe dis news is just as sweet as my Sunday rice.and pls were is madagaliMadagali Is a boarder town btw Brono & Adamawa state and is just about 7Km away from MOPOL TRAINING CAMP GWOZA and 27km from Gwoza main town. However, two of the APC managed to escaped back to Gwoza. The Alpha jet went back to 're arm, but before it came back the insurgents retreated back to Gwoza. This explains why their onslaught was only limited to Madagali LGA secretariat. |
I hear say out of the 6 armoured tanks/ APC currently in use by boko haram members, 4 where bombed during thier failed attempt to take Madagali by Nigeria Alpha Jets. A raid in which many insurgents are reportedly killed. |
Is about time. Only if they had listen to Shettima who requested better weaponry for the Nigeria army, this war would not have reached this level. |
Ozonna: When you gave out that information, I searched the net to know if it was true. No online blog carried the news as at the time I read it here, i thought it was a lie and I was angry because the terrorists all over the world knows how to strike fear in the hearts of the populace by making good use of propaganda. Knowing fully well that we've lost the propaganda battle to boko hharam, I gave in to my emotions and made the statement I made.I felt guilty after reading your comment, pls accept my apology for my initial outburst, I was born in the North, I grew up in the north,i have travelled beyond the borders of the north, I still live in the north, because I am from the north. Thus it's very natural for me to feel pained when my home is wrongly portrayed, attacked and my religion ignorantly ridiculed by some ignorant Kanuris, only to be accused of supporting the same people that are creating havoc, destroying my region and misinterpreting my religion. As I said earlier on am really sorry for the insults, I never meant any of those word. Right now, am yet to kill a human, but one life I will passionately love to take is the worthless life of Abubakar Shekau. This goes to show how I hated anything associated with Boko Haram and how I am annoyed with the administration of GEJ for his inaction as regard to this menace. |
