Here in Toronto (Canada), its 30 dollars/hr for a fresh graduate. I make a little above that.
In Manitoba, it is like 29 dollars for fresh RN
In Alberta, 33 dollars plus extra 5-7 dollars per hour if u agree to work weekends or evenings or night shifts.
But if u agree to go up North to Nunavut or Yukon, their pay is the highest. Remember it is so cold there that nobody wanna go there.
Nunavut for instance pays an average of 150 thousand dollars(est. 22million naira) /year to a nurse. You could double that if u do 2 jobs.

I'm sure this poster lives in either canada or usa to talk about open relationships. This is because in ngr, more than 98% of relationships are as open as it could get.

Of course I know where egbeada housing estate is. I lived in owerri b/4 travelling out of ngr. We used to go there pass nworie stream into soldiers quarters. It is close to Amakohia axis. I'm only a bit shocked at the price being mentioned. I mean, if I use 11m to buy the land, use 1.1m(10%) pay agent, then na how much I go use build the house? There was once time, I mean early 2000s when egbeada sold 2 plots for less than 150 thousand. Owerri has suddenly become a completely different city from what we used to know it to be. Even, imagine how much a land at new owerri costs, far much higher i guess. You guys should just keep making like difficult for others; eventually, you'll get tired of it.

Thatz just a tip of the iceberg. The fact is that education in nigeria has become virtually, a huge joke. Its all about passing at all cost and 'moving to a new class' and NEVER about acquiring knowledge. Sometimes good and studious students are even laughed at when they try to exhibit any level of seriousness with their studies. Students no longer wanna study. Just approach a 'typical' naija graduate and engage him/her in a conversation, u'll find out how empty and shallow he/she is with her discipline. Many students pay their way through; some sleep their way through to pass. My friend is a lecturer in one of the southern universities in nigeria and I know what he does to his female nursing students. The worst part of it is that most of them prefer this method of passing as it gives them opportunity to run around town. I really really pity our education system-----no good classroom, equipment, library, security, accommodation, portable water, constant power supply nor conducive classroom. In fact up till now, no university in nigeria can boast of having a fully(I really mean FULLY) functioning website. Chai!!! Shame of a country!!!!

As CNN/USA's Viewership continues to hit all time lows, the once dominant US #1 Cable news channel is now forced to downside.
With a new far left CEO/President, Jon Klein, and with most of their news anchors like Larry King, Wolf Blitzer, Campbell Brown, AC 360, Rick Sanchez(#1 liberal anchor in america), etc all leaning towards the left, the cable news has lost independents and  its dominance of  the US Cable news industry to Fox News.

While Obama and the left continued to criticize Fox, American's became curious about the news channel only to recognize that Fox is actually more balanced than CNN will ever be. CNN is now forced to retrench 10% of its workforce. People like Betty Nguyen and Erica Hill are now gone(to CBS). Their chief international correspondent, Christian Amanpour is moving over to ABC from August to take over from George Stephnopolis early sunday morning talk show, 'this week in america'. Just to set my record straight, as I understand some of you doubts how I could have bagged all these qualifications at 31, here's the breakdown timelines:

BSc. Management, IMSU, Graduated at 20(1999)

MBA Managenemt, Univ of Canada West; Started Jan. 2000 and Graduated Aug. 2001 (almost 2 yrs programme for me since I hadn't any work experience yet)
Here, Nursing and health care pays so well and I decided to go obtain a bachelors in nursing in order to be in health administration, and so:

BSc. Nursing, Univ. of Toronto ; Graduated 2004- (2 yrs progrmme). Here, BSc Nursing could be 2 yrs for you if u already have a degree in any other field. In USA, it is even 1 year in most schools, but very very very extremely intensive. I eventually fell in love with Nursing, especially the medial surgical part of it and then decided to go obtain a graduate degree, hence:

MSc Nursing, Specialization in Nursing Administration from Western Gov Univ Utah. Graduated  Fall of 2005. I then went ahead to bag a:

DScN(Doctor of Science in Nursing) from BSU, Los Angeles, Graduated in  Summer 2008 and then a:

PhD in Management, specialization in Management. Will be graduating  in  June 2010. Of course I had a few research courses and then went straight to my Dissertation since I already had a doctorate degree. Umu nnaaa, agujuola m(I don read finish)

I REALLY PITY THE U.S. THEY THINK THAT THE CANADIAN AND EUROPEAN SYSTEM IS THE BEST, WELL, WAIT UNTIL YOU HAVE A MAJOR PROCEDURE THAT WOULD REQUIRE YOU TO STAY ON WAIT LIST. YOU COULD EVEN DIE HERE IN CANADA WHILE WAITING FOR YOUR TREATMENT TIME.
I REALLY PITY U.S. THIS IS THE VERY FIRST TIME IN HISTORY WHEN A MAJOR PIECE OF LEGISLATION WOULD BE PASSED ON A PURELY PARTY LINE VOTE.
I'M PERSONALLY DISAPPOINTED WITH OBAMA FOR ALLOWING THE BUYING OF VOTES AND BRIBERY THAT TOOK PLACE. ITS A BIG SHAME HE PRESIDED OVER THIS JOKE CALLED A HEALTH CARE BILL. THE COVERAGE DOES NOT EVEN BEGIN UNTIL 2014 AND BY 2019, 25 MILLION PPLE WOULD STILL BE UNCOVERED.
AMERICA HAS THE BEST HEALTH CARE SYSTEM IN THE WORLD ANY TIME ANY DAY. HOW CAN YOU INCREASE TAXES IN A PERIOD OF RECESSION, OR CUT SENIOR'S CARE BY 500B DOLLARS AND STILL THINK YOU'RE ON THE RIGHT  SIDE.

GUYS, I PREDICT IN THE NEXT 5 YRS, AMERICA WILL JUST BE LIKE EUROPE AND CANADA AND WOULDN'T HAVE ANY SPECIAL ATTRACTION AGAIN . WE WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO CROSS OVER THE BORDER AGAIN FROM HERE IN CANADA TO BUY STUFFS AGAIN IN THE US AS THEY BE JUST AS EXPENSIVE.
REMEMBER , IN UK, THEIR SALES TAX IS 17%; IN TORONTO CANADA, IT IS 12% BUT IN A PLACE LIKE MARYLAND, IT IS 5%. THAT IS THE BEAUTY OF AMERICA WHERE U CAN GO IN AND BUY STUFFS EASILY AND CHEAPER. I'M AFRAID THAT PERIOD IS COMING TO AN END.

ONE MORE THING, TO HELL WITH CNN AND MSNBC. THEY ARE TOO LEFT WING AND LIBERAL IN THEIR PROGRAMS. I'VE VOWED NEVER TO SWITCH MY TV TO ANY OF THESE TWO CHANNELS AGAIN. THEY'RE JUST SUCKING UP TO OBAMA JUST LIKE BILL O REILLY IN FOX NEWS IS DOING THESE DAYS AND IT IS BEGINING TO AFFECT HIS RATINGS.

HOW CAN YOU FORCE PEOPLE TO BUY HEALTH CARE AND THEN USE THE TAX BODY IRS TO GO AFTER THEM IF THEY DON'T BUY INSURANCE? ITS JUST LIKE FORCING PEOPLE TO DRIVE A CAR IF THEY DON'T WANNA DRIVE OR TO USE THE BUS SYSTEM WHEN THEY ACTUALLY PREFERRED TO WORK. DON'T GIVE ME THAT CRAP ABOUT THE COST THAT THE UNINSURED PUTS ON THE SYSTEM ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY APPEAR AT THE EMERGENCY; AFTER ALL, CANADA HAS A HIGHER EMERGENCY ROOM PATRONAGE THAN THE STATES IN SPITE OF OUR SINGLE PAYER SYSTEM.

SOME OF YOU TALKED OF COST AND THE AMOUNT THE US SPENDS IN HEALTH CARE. ABSOLUTELY. THIS IS BECAUSE AMERICA HAS THE LARGEST WELFARE SYSTEM IN THE WORLD. IN FACT, ANY BODY, INCLUDING ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS COULD WALK INTO THE EMERGENCY ROOM AND BE TREATED WITHOUT QUESTIONS ASKED. WHERE ELSE IN THE WORLD IS IT LIKE THAT? IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A LOT BETTER TO DEAL WITH THE COST PROBLEM AND CAUSES OF SKYROCKETING COSTS LIKE JUNK LAW SUITES AND LACK OF COMPETITION AMONG INSURANCE COMPANIES. ALLOW INSURANCE COMPANIES TO COMPETE ACROSS STATE LINES AND LETS SEE IF THE COST WOULDN'T COME DOWN. MAJORITY OF THOSE WITHOUT HEALTH CARE ARE THOSE WHO ARE BELOW THE AGE OF 35 WHO FEELS THEY DON'T HAVE ANY NEED FOR IT. WHY WOULD YOU FORCE THEM AND THEN TAX THEM HIGH IF THEY DECIDE NOT TO HAVE HEALTH CARE? OF WHAT BUSINESS OF YOURS IS IT? THIS IS SO UNAMERICAN.

I'VE REALLY SAT DOWN TO LISTEN TO BOTH SIDES OF THE ARGUMENT AND I STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT THE CONSERVATIVES IDEA IS JUST A COMMON SENSE AND LESS COSTLY SOLUTION. WITH THIS MONSTROSITY OF A BILL JUST PASSED INTO LAW, AMERICA IS JUST ON A HIGH ROAD TO BANKRUPTCY.

For INEC, I would rather send a bill to the National assembly to make provision for two co- INEC chairmen
I would then appoint:
1. Professor Humphrey Nwosu and
2. Rev. Fr. Mathew Cooker for the job.

As I said earlier, I would give Dora Ministry of Works and Housing.
