Big Brother Naija 2019 winner, Mercy Eke, is now the newest ambassador for Moët & Chandon.

The reality star on Tuesday signed an endorsement deal with the French fine winery.

Moët & Chandon, a prominent champagne house, is one of the world's largest champagne producers and co-owner of the luxury goods company LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton.

Mercy, announcing the deal on her Instagram page gave credit to Cubana Chief Priest, the Influencer for Moët & Hennessy.

“My Newest Family, God Has Done Me Well Beyond My Humble Imaginations, I am So International� @cubana_chiefpriest Baddest plug," she wrote.

Kylie Jenner, 22, was reportedly spotted leaving ex-boyfriend Tyga's recording studio hours after news of her shock split from Travis Scott.

In pictured obtained by the Daily Mail, Kylie was spotted at the Sunset Marquis on Tuesday night, where her ex-boyfriend Tyga happened the be working in the hotel's recording studio.

She took to social media and wrote: “I was jazzed and duped in Akerele surulere Lagos 12pm yesterday by 3 old men, one pretended to be a Rev. Father, and the other pretended to b passing, the last was the cab man.

The Rev. as he said he is, was in a cab, so they asked direction from me, which I told them I don’t know I set to leave, and help them stop the other man that was going, as they tried stop him!

There have been multiple reports on Meghan Markle‘s family members as the countdown continues for the May 19 Royal Wedding.

The latest is Meghan’s father Thomas Markle is involved in a photo scandal after taking part in an arranged photoshoot with a paparazzi agency. He was caught posing for snaps which reportedly sold for £100k

And for that he will not be walking her down the aisle with his daughter on Saturday after getting backlash for getting paid and staging photos for the paparazzi.

Thomas, 73, said he would no longer be flying to Britain, after the embarrassing disclosures about his dealings with the paparazzi.

He told TMZ, he meant no harm to Meghan or the Royal Family when he made a deal to allow a photo agency to take pictures of him getting ready for the wedding. He says he had a reason and it was not principally about money.

He said over the last year he's been ambushed by paparazzi who have photographed him in the most unflattering circumstances ... buying beer, looking disheveled and reclusive. He's especially upset that they made him look like a lush. Thomas says he doesn't even drink beer ... he was buying it for the guards at the place where he lives.

He says since his daughter started dating Prince Harry he's been offered anywhere between $50,000 and $100k for interviews and he's turned all of them down.

Thomas says the paparazzi agency approached him, offered him money -- though nowhere near the reported $100k -- and he figured there was no harm in it and it would help recast his image.

He admits the pictures look "stupid and hammy." He says he was just going along with the paparazzi agency, which he now deeply regrets.

And, Thomas says, he suffered a heart attack 6 days ago but checked himself out of the hospital so he could attend the wedding. He's now decided not to go because he doesn't want to embarrass the Royal Family or his daughter.

Thomas' decision leaves arrangements for the Royal wedding in doubt, and Ms Markle without her father on the biggest day of her life.

It also raises the question that her mother, Doria Ragland, may walk her down the aisle, or that she will be accompanied by a member of the Royal family or make the journey alone.

A New York man was caught on tape stabbing his wife because he suspected her of infidelity.

Jose Castillo, 66, a recent immigrant from the Dominican Republic, stabbed his 38-year-old wife multiple times with a screwdriver and would have succeeded in killing her but for the timely intervention of a barber.

Surveillance footage shows the 38-year-old woman sitting at a Manhattan barber shop waiting for a haircut. Her husband walks in, walks up to her, then suddenly pulls out an object like a screwdriver from his left pocket and stabs her with it repeatedly.

Angel Sierra, the only barber who was working at the time tried to stop him and this gave the woman a chance to run off. But Castillo chased her, caught up, then dragged her back into the store. After another struggle, she ran outside again, but he ran after her and attacked her again after she’s knocked to the ground.A passerby on the sidewalk intervened, and Castillo fled.

The victim was admitted to the hospital and the hero barber visited her. He said she was in bad shape but stable.

Jose was arrested later in the day on Thursday. He claims that his wife was “cheating”. He has been charged with attempted murder.

The CEO of Multichoice, John Ugbe, has explained why Big Brother Naija 2018 housemate, Cee-C wasn’t disqualified from the show.

Speaking at a press briefing held in honour of the BBNaija 2018 finalists, Ugbe said Cee-c and others made it to the final stage because they adhered to the rules of the house.

Many had expected that Cee-c, who was adjudged to be the most controversial housemate on the show disqualified due to her attitude; but she surprisingly made it to the final stage.

It is no more news that Davido broke the internet after gifting his girlfriend, Chioma, a Porsche car for her birthday .However, the actual value of the car has been causing controversy .

Some news sources put the value of the car at N45 million, this is nowhere near the case, as the car is clearly a tokunbo vehicle. Even brand new Cayennes can be obtained for less than N45 million, According to Herald reports.
According to research conducted by auto aficionado’s, the truck is a 2011 model which retails from about ($25,000) N10 million, exclusive of customs and other charges. The total value of the vehicle is usually less than N20 million. However the trim Davido purchased seems to be full options probably bringing the total value of the car to about N20 million.

Tough still a large sum of money ,it is nowhere near the N45 million that would be spent to obtain a newer model of the vehicle.

Even the 2018 model starts retailing from about $65000 (N24 million) and certainly to get it to Nigeria will still be less than N40 million, depending on how ambitious the car dealer is.

It was an emotional time as a woman who was kidnapped 21 years ago from her parents was reunited after DNA test.

Happy tears flowed freely as daughter was reunited with her birth parents after being kidnapped 21 years ago in south-west China, according to Guizhou City Daily.
The woman identified as Wang Xue, nicknamed Little Swallow, met her parents after a DNA test confirmed their biological relationship.

It was gathered that Wang was on her way to school when she was taken in 1997 aged just seven. During the reunion which took place two decades later, hundreds of locals arrived at Wang's home to witness the emotional reunion, decorating the streets with balloons, flowers and banners to welcome the long-lost daughter.

'I have finally found my daughter,' the teary mother, Wang Yonghui, told the press. 'I finally got to see my daughter again in my lifetime.'
Back in 1997, Wang was living with her grandparents in Xingren county in Guizhou province, while her parents worked in the fields, she recalled. One day, a stranger came up to Wang and asked her to carry her belongings back home.


When the young girl refused, the woman dragged her onto a tricycle and drove away. She even gave her some food to snack on.

When Wang woke up, she found herself in Nayong County, more than 300 kilometers away from home. She was then sent to live with her foster parents and was always 'locked in, beaten and threatened', she told Guizhou City Daily.

'It was a common occurrence,' she said.

Every so often, she would hear that someone was looking for her, but before she could do anything about it, her foster parents would lock her up in the house.

To prevent her from being discovered, Wang was later sent to their relatives' home to live for two years.

She tried to escape many times, but she was always caught immediately and beaten.

Despite the hardships, Wang forced herself to remember the names of her biological family. She knew the names of her grandfather Wang Kaiming and uncle Wang Yinghong, and that she had a younger brother.

Wang's mother couldn't eat for three days after she was told her daughter was kidnapped. It was a nightmare, but she never gave up hope. Wang's parents spent everything they had on the search for their daughter - but to no avail.

Eventually, they were forced to give up due to financial constraints. They also divorced and moved to different provinces.

In March, Wang registered on a Chinese website called Baby Back Home, a non-profit organization that helps families tracks down lost children.

The organization said they have reunited 2,382 families so far. A total of 41,225 parents are still looking for their children. Volunteers then reached out to Wang and launched an official search for her family based on the limited information.

The winner of the Big Brother Naija reality show, Miracle has admitted that he slept with Nina while in the House.

Miracle, the Big Brother Naija 2018 winner, has admitted that he and Nina actually had s*x in the house.

He admitted to this in an interview with Delphinator. When asked if they had s*x in the house, he said; “Yeah, we were intimate”

According to him, he was only just being human.

Asked if it was a strategy, he said: “All these strategy thing, I didn’t go in with any strategy, I was Just being myself, whatever I did inside, I’d do outside. S*x is the last thing I’d use as a strategy. I am human, so I no even send those things”

A man identified as Abayomi Akanji has broken down in tears after he was arrested for the theft of army uniform.

Akanji who was arrested by the Ogun State Police Command in the Adatan area of Abeokuta after he allegedly impersonated a soldier following the theft.

Local reports show that Akanji stole the uniform from an army barracks and then used it to terrorize residents of the community. He reportedly used it during the period of the fuel scarcity to harass people and create panic.

Luck, however, ran out on him on April 17, 2018, when operatives from the Adatan Police Division, who were on a routine patrol, accosted him and while he was being questioned, he owned up to being a fake soldier and broke down in tears.

President Muhammadu Buhari has finally reacted to the open letter which former president, Olusegun Obasanjo wrote him in January asking him not to seek re-election in 2019.

While speaking in Bauchi during a state banquet in his honour on Thursday night, President Muhammadu Buhari finally spoke out on the strong-worded letter ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo wrote to him in January where he asked the president to forget about contesting in 2019, saying doing so would amount to overstretching the tolerance of Nigerians.

According to TheCable, Buhari said he opted for silence on the letter but Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed convinced him that there ought to be a response from the federal government.

He said after his initial reluctance, he consented to Mohammed’s wish after an agreement had been reached that the minister would not mention Obasanjo’s name in his response.

Buhari said; “Tonight, I want to remind you people of what Lai Mohammed did when a letter was written on our failure as an administration. Lai Mohammed was agitated about replying but I said no. I said no for two reasons: one, he is much younger than the person who wrote the letter and myself; two, he is from the same constituency as the person who wrote the letter.

“But when Mohammed came again, I said he should go out but he said he won’t go. I asked why and he said let me give him a chance to say what he wanted, then I said go on. He said in what he would do, he would not mention names but only try to remind Nigerians what the country was when we came in, where we are now, and what we have done with the resources available to us.

“Eventually, I had to admit that he was right and I was wrong because a number of people who could get in touch with me have said that Lai did a good job. A lot of them are in the media… I am very happy with the performance of our party, the All Progressive Congress.”

Buhari also went down memory lane to narrate how the “betrayal” of some of his former political associates informed his insistence on finding credible platform that would enable him “rescue the country”.

“I will like to go down some historical antecedents so that people can assess. When we were in the APP, I went through an impartial primary and I won the ticket. I think for the third or fourth time and while I was in court, because I felt I was ready to be president, the person who was to be my vice-president, allowed himself to be appointed by the presidency,” he said.

“The chairman and vice-chairman of the party accepted; even when I was still in court as a presidential candidate. That’s why I got out and formed the CPC; when we realised that if we don’t work together, that is the opposition parties, and wrestle power from the PDP, this country would have sunk.”

It seems former Big Brother Naija housemate, Nina has made up her mind to continue with Miracle at the expense of her boyfriend, Collins who resides in the South-eastern part of Nigeria.

During her interview on Beat FM Lagos with celebrity OAP, Toolz, Nina ruled out the chances of her re-uniting with Collins despite pledging allegiance to him severally even in the heat of her romance with Miracle.

"I don't think I want to talk to him for now. I don't need negative vibes for now.

"Right now, I don't think there is any hope of reconciling with him (Collins). I dont know why. Even if he reconciles with me now....who knows...it's not from his heart and I don't want to take chances," she told the interviewer.

Collins has been mute since the drama of the Big Brother Naija romance intensified.

A man has staged the kidnap of his own daughter from a playground, causing quite a stir and leaving many shocked, according Metro Uk reports.
CCTV footage captured a pretend abductor, played by an actor, approach the girl and carry her away from a park.

The girl’s mother, who was not informed about the stunt, briefly turns away in the clip and is stunned to find her child vanished moments later. She’s seen frantically searching for the missing child in Surgut, central Russia.

But the girl’s 31-year-old dad had staged the whole thing.

He said: ‘She is my daughter and she knew all about it. She agreed to take part in our social experiment video.’

The aim of the bizarre test was to highlight to the authorities of the lack of security around playgrounds.

Authorities have since announced they will improve security in the near future, reports say.

The mother, who is herself an actress, apparently took the news of the stunt well. But some residents in Surgut condemned the idea.

Fedor Grojsâ, who lives nearby, said: ‘What a peculiar prank.
‘Children being kidnapped from playgrounds is not a big thing, I think it is all very silly.’
