Good Day great people.

Please i need help with my phone. Huawei Y7 2019. It started last year that I can't update or download app through Google App. I have enough space on the phone but it's not not working. Around November last year, I decided to download the software update, if that will solve the problem but it only complicated it because now, I can't type without the keyboard hanging and it's very annoying especially when I want to erase a word and it eventually erased everything I have typed. Please how can I get out of this?

With all due respect to the UK routers, but CBT is one of the easiest nursing exam to pass. All you have to do is go through your past questions, brush up on some additional policies and terminology relevant to UK, and calm down while doing the math portion (so you don't see 2x3 and be saying 5 like me).

1mth prep for CBT is more than sufficient. I have people preping in 2weeks self.
You just have to be confident and know that you are ALREADY A NURSE and nmcn finals is a much tougher nut to crack (and u passed that one).

You are absolutely right about it being the easiest. I prepared for 3 days and wrote it on the 4th day. I came across a site that I used to practice the numeracy part early in the morning before going for the exam. The questions I saw on the site were not different from the exam questions. It's as if I was given expo.

Good afternoon Everyone,

Please, I need clarification on the next step to go as I have just passed my English test.

Can I start with the CBT process before opening an account with NMC UK ? If so is there any CBT test center in Port harcourt, River State.

I will very much appreciate if anyone provide with the link on how to book CBT test.

Please, help a sister

It's good to know that you have passed IELTS but before you can write CBT, you have to register with NMC UK. Your decision letter which will allows you to write CBT will be issued after you have been verified.

1. I didn't say otherwise. I only pointed to the fact that most ads I have seen wanted Nurses with UK experience or are in the UK.

2. Oh wow. I got an offer from a carehome without them asking for covid certificate sha. Infact, I just collected my shot on the 1st.

I was about to ask here if it's possible to collect the 2nd dose in UK because I will be there before the date I was asked to come for the 2nd dose.

Can you please tell me about the NHS packages??

Congratulations... Wishing you the best of luck...

I have a link for care home jobs, if you are interested drop your email. Personally, I would prefer to relocate via NHS job so I'm still applying and hoping for a positive response soon. I've gotten interview invites from care homes but I didn't reply their messages. I'm 100% down for NHS jobs even if it takes more time to get an offer unlike home care jobs.

NB; a major requirement for this care home link is covid vaccination certificate, ensure you have one pls.
Is it the green card we were given?

It's true. People need to be more informed before coming here to write anything like the person you quoted. There are alot of jobs like that but with lesser pay. Its good to start from somewhere then advance rather than wait

You are right. The offer is 9pounds per hour and she's OK with it for a start.

And also concerning this exams, no matter the position one is going for, the person must write this exams

I think there are some jobs like caregiver, health care assistant that doesn't require exam, experience on the job is the major requirement. I am not sure about this. But I know someone with an offer and visa ready without writing any exam. Although she said she will write ielts(general) before traveling. She's not even a health Practitioner, she only did a six month course in home care services.

Congratulations to you bro and thanks for answering my question,I wish you all the best as you move to UK for a better life and pray I will be joining you sooner.
You passed IELTS before writing CBT?

There's no exact period or duration of getting a job even after having both exams in your hands. It's been more than two weeks now that I have been submitting applications but not positive response yet. Although it's because I'm not keen about care home jobs. I prefer NHS or private hospital jobs.

Hi. I got an offer in Swansea. Care home job.
But what I am reading about Swansea isn't isn't that pleasant. Is there anyone living in Swansea here?

Do you think I should look further? The care home contract says 3 years or if i intend to leave before then, then I will have to pay a fee of £10k.
The manager said they had to put the clause in place because a lot of their RN leave as soon as they get hospital jobs...causing constant change in staff with affect their patients.
I googled about the care home and the reviews were good but the important question is how is Swansea??. I seem to be reading lots of violence, drug, ruggedity about them online.

As a Nigerian, I don't think that should be much of an issue to you... Once you know how to conduct yourself.. Since you already the knowledge of how the place is, it will help you to be better prepared

Hello,

Is the affidavit you took was in Federal high court, state high court or notary (from private lawyers) ?

Also, did you know if affidavit can suffice similar issue with the 'date of birth' ?

Thank you.

I got it from state high Court. And Yes, the affidavits should be useful for clarifying date of birth issue

Hello Hunnybee,
I have a similar issue and mine is that I have already written my IELTS and passed. My license doesn't carry my middle name (just surname and first name) however my passport carries my middle name(my 3 names) . I'ld like to start the process of NMC uk registration but I'm confused because :
I'm not sure if NMCN will verify my license to NMC Uk
Secondly, I was told that before my first salary in the UK there will be a verification and this might cause problems.
Advice needed.

You can swear an affidavit in a Nigerian court stating that both bearers are the same person and upload it under ur identification documents. NMC UK will likely revert the name on your UK license to match the one on the Nigerian license. You can also upload the affidavit when you apply for visa. NMCN will verify you but with the name they have you registered with

Speaking from my personal experience..
I changed two of my names (surname and last name) after marriage. When I contacted NMCN to effect the change of name, they said they can only effect the change in surname which was as a result of marriage but other names remain the same.
Please note that I have done affidavit, newspaper publication and even effect the changes on my National Identity Number.
I decided to start the registration with NMC UK with my new name.
While filling out the registration form, I was asked if there's any changes to my name and I picked Yes and I uploaded the supporting documents. I was told to write my previous name and when I wanted to submit for verification, I was asked which name I'm known for at NMCN.
I have no itches with my verification.
So don't bother about the name change, just do affidavit to back it up as earlier suggested.

Pls colleagues, does anyone know WE Healthcare Agency in UK. I saw an ad and reach out them but they are asking me to forward my cv, Nursing certificate and license plus my passport which does not sit well with me. I need to know if they are authentic

I don't know anything about them because I don't use agents. But if they will be of help to you, I think it's essential you provide them those documents to work with. Just my opinion. Those who are into agency stuff, can give more accurate information.
