They will cope. The FG is currently giving tax incentive to any firm that meets a threshold of employees. In other words, they want firms to employ more people for reduced tax. It's going to be a win-win
Soooo firms should employ more labour than they may actually need so that their TAX payments would be reduced?

Car Talk / Re: I Was Given Fake Insurance. by nairamaniac: 6:32pm On Aug 11
Emmy000seun:
I have done the both for my car so I can relate from experience.. when I insured my Corolla comprehensively, and it was vandalized in my estate then, I informed them and they sent a representative to come and check and estimate what was stolen, everything put together was 180k..but they eventually pay 150k,.. which I don't even finished the 150k because what I bought was around 90k and I pocket the remaining..other occasion I hit a very expensive prado jeep at ikoyi Lagos, the owner was at first been mad and talk all sort of words, but I dont respond because I'm at fault..when he invited police and they request for my car documents, when he saw that I have a comprehensive insurance his moral was down and calm because he knew even If I cant afford to repair his car, I have a insurance that can take care of it..
Anytime anyday, comprehensive insurance is best but just that when I did mine then they collected 10 percent of the amount i bought the car..I bought the Corolla 06 2019 then at 1.8m,..so they charge 180k for the insurance..
okay thanx.
But you are still yet to lecture us about the 15-15k insurance package.

That is the Third party insurance package.
Car Talk / Re: I Was Given Fake Insurance. by nairamaniac: 1:56pm On Aug 11
Emmy000seun:
Doing a comprehensive insurance is so good and comes with alot of benefit..like if your insurance is third party, then that's just for police or any law enforcement to harass you..but comprehensive insurance, during stated insured duration,if your car is vandalized, you estimate the cost of repair and they pay you,..if your car is stolen they get you a replacement, if you hit another's person car, they take responsibility for your car and they third party car..alot more benefits for comprehensive insurance..but just that it's costly than the third party..
Obviously he was asking about the 15-15k insurance, which is the THIRD PARTY insurance. But you answered with more about the COMPREHENSIVE INSURANCE.
I was willing to learn from answers to his question.

Tinubu is a leader who understands the complexity of governance. It's crucial to learn from experiences, but let's not forget the long-term benefits these policies will bring. Change is hard, but it’s necessary for progress.
Is there was going to be long-term benefits in Totality, we would have been seeing the signs of positive-improvements by now.

Half of the money that is being saved on from that fuel subsidy is being used to do patch-patch work, to repair the damages that erupted from that particular fuel subsidy removal and floating of the naira.

If you go to the hospital to treat a sore on your leg, the doctor now discovers cancer in your leg, then tells you the solution is to cut off your entire leg.

You allow him cut it off.
But while he is opening on your leg, he causes pains in your arms and neck.
Then he tells you he needs to treat your neck and arms.
He starts treating your arms and neck, then complications move to your stomach.

In hindsight, would you consider that doctor a good doctor, even if *the cancer in your leg has been cured after it's total amputation*??

Like borrowing money to pay salary and subsidize dollar àbi?
No, like closing all the loopholes that made the president take away fuel subsidy completely in the first place

The loopholes have been consistent with all the presidents that have come in and have had problems with fuel subsidy:

THE LOOPHOLES:
1. The actually petrol that landed in Nigeria being smuggles to other countries. Making us seem like we as Nigeria are subsidizing the fuel for over 10countries in Africa.

2. Getting a more accurate figure of the average consumption and amount being subsidized.

By this, u would be shorked that the government can more convenient afford to subsidize the fuel without it being such a strain on the national budget.

3. Provide adequate security for farmlands so that farmers can far without bandit attacks.

4. Open border. Farmers alone here in Nigeria cannot even meet the demand of Nigeria, then we went as far as closing border.

5. Reverse the floating of the naira. He should never have floated it.
We should have had more to export than to import before floating(devaluing it). Even Chinese does the same them quite very often, but guess what, they do it when they have a large tranch if produced good that are on the verge of being bought by other countries.

6. Subsidize the fuel, temporarily. Till local refineries can meet up to the demand in Nigeria. Or at least meet up to half the demand here in Nigeria.
Does it make sense? He removes subsidy, then gives out palliative.
The palliatuve is as good as subsidy.

7. Create a more transperent method of leadership.
Lack of transperency brings distrust. It's the distrust that leads to the means of protests.

We can go on and on on things he can do with the next 1 or 2 years.

Things he can do right now that would see cost of food start falling withing the next 3months.

This one he mentioned here about Tax-Incentive, would it make price of food start falling withing the next 4years?
Your answer is as good as mine, NO.

Did i call u a fuel marketer? I tell u say i won check something, and u don reveal ur undertanding, make i clear u.

Na under jonathan regime dem suppose don comot subsidy. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala was at the fore front, Nigerias supported it, which led to occupy Nigeria.

Something happend, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala mom was kidnapped for going against subsidy, the ransome was for her to resign publicly.

Now, to know what markerters is, the are powerful people/group that sponsors elected/selected people in power. They were so strong the government had to agree to their demands secretly, and they explained to NLC that was part of the group that supported removal of subsidy.

An old kidnapped mother suddenly escaped from her kidnappers...doesn't it ring a bell.

Buhari did not have the balls to remove subsidy during es 8yrs, rather implement it for the incoming govt to bear the burden.

However u want to hate Tinubu, there is no way u can negotiate with this bastards called Marketers, they used all their resources to make sure govt refinaries are not functioning, Buhari has repaired most of them, that will be functional asap, + private Dangote refinary.

Thier days are numbered....so all those patience or his gra gra, wey u dey talk, dem don reason am tey tey, even if Jonathan administration start am that year, naso e go be.

If our refinaries + Dangote no cum make difference, den u can come up online and speak boldly that Tinubu failed on his promise.

Politics / Re: 10 Things Tinubu Said In Public Broadcast by nairamaniac: 11:21am On Aug 04

I find the statement conflicting.

The opening statement was blaming the ongoing protest on a few with political agenda and then towards the end the president was appealing to the youth to come together as he feels their pain and has heard them very loud and clear.

Are those youth he was appealing to same as those few who are protesting being used as political agenda?

What Tinubu is saying here is that *his political opponents are the ones manipulating the youths to be hungry to get angry and finally took their grievances to the streets".

Meaning Obi and Atiku are secretly making it difficult for the youths and elderly to afford feeding.

So he is appealing to the youths to bear the hardship and hunger that emanated due to his policies. While also making us know that their protest against his policies which caused then hunger should be blamed on political opponents.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a Divisive-Coward who shies away from his own undoings by Gaslighting the Polity.

Tinubu is speaking the truth! We need unity and dialogue to move Nigeria forward. His commitment to tackling the economy and security is commendable. Let’s give him a chance to deliver on his promises. Together, we can build a better Nigeria!
How do you give your leader a chance with full trust and confidence without the leader showing Transperent-Accountability?

If he wanted to be sincere with Accountability, he should create an avenue for us to know what quantity of fuel is actually subsidized. So we the masses would know if subsidy can be conveniently affordable till other permanent measures (refineries) are put in place.

Also he should be transperent with expenses that were made from savings and subsidy was removed. If only he created a Trust-fund account for the excesses like Abacha did with PTF, the Governor's would have also given full accounts to their respective states.
