lastkingsman:You may be right. But honestly I can't just belief those numbers of people really voted for Tinubu. Even in those northern states or due to EMIlokan factor. |

Ance4Liverpool: U are being so insensitive. Most of the people you think voted Tinubu didn't vote for Tinubu. |

Lordsonn:I think this also has to do with how much his church is generating. If the church is generating enomously, the pastor would either earn more than that 35k or some perks would come along with his monthly salary. Is his church doing well? Is he preaching well enough to make his congregation part away with substantial amount of their monies? |

Politics / Re: Obasanjo Grew The Economy In 1 Year, Tinubu Should Do Same- Rufai Oseni by nairamaniac: 9:48pm On May 31 |
Iamanoited:Obansanjo is more passionate about the success and unity of the country than Tinubu would ever be. Although Obasanjo later lost some focus in between his second tenure. Another reason why it was easier for Obasanjo to uphold his will, was because back then majority of the members of the assembly, both upper&lower were submissive to him&pdp(which he was a leader of). The legislative and executives were more deceplined then than they currently are. |
Politics / Re: One Year After: Tinubu Building A Safer, Stronger, Prosperous Nigeria β Reno by nairamaniac: 12:51pm On May 30 |
surgical: Exactly. He is a late comer to Tinubu s regime. But he would be accepted. Cos Tinubu is equally desperate for numbers even if they come from enemy camps. They would all collapse as a group one day. |

Politics / Re: Senate Passes Bill On Old National Anthem by nairamaniac: 8:33am On May 30 |
richidinho:You would have to sing it at police check points. Also, before using any federal government facility. Like airports, public toilets, state tollgates(when reintroduced). This anthem would revive the economy |
Politics / Re: If I Had My Way I Would Bring Back Our Old Anthem - Tinubu (Throwback Video) by nairamaniac: 11:54pm On May 29 |
Sweetphronesis:It's not Tinubu that is brave. It's the system that is weak, with the strength of it's citizens being placed in lock&key. But we all pray for another opportunity to be strong again. Amen! |
Politics / Re: One Year After: Tinubu Building A Safer, Stronger, Prosperous Nigeria β Reno by nairamaniac: 11:30pm On May 29 |
ubest1:Reno definitely didn't write this. Reno lacks the natural true passion to write this much praising Tinubu. Tinubu most likely got this epistle from his camp and handed it over to Reno to mouthpiece it. It gives more credibility a praise when it comes from someone not directly connected to the benefactor. |

Politics / Re: Tinubu Flags Off Lagos-calabar N15trn Highway Project Says βitβs My Bragging Day by nairamaniac: 7:44am On May 27 |
Dagger111:It's not Tinubu that is soooo strong. It's our systems that are soooo weak&compromised. In stronger systems this project would never have been approved by the legislative arm if they were undergoing as much sufferings as we current are in Nigeria. Imagine if this 15trillion was invested into AGRICULTURE-SECURITY-INDUSTRIAL PROCESSING OF HARVESTED FOODS? Afterall it's not like we don't have alternative routes from Lagos to calabar that would have needs one tenth of this 15trillion to make it world-class. 1 Like |

Politics / Re: FG Apologises To Nigerians Over Pains, Hardship, Defends Economic Policies by nairamaniac: 11:00pm On May 25 |
helinues: U need to show small shame and admit to yourself that so far, Tinubu has failed in terms of economy. It's obviouse his administration are not getting the right results from most of the decisions they made. Even when naira was rebounding last month, they were begining to take the glory for it. Only for the same naira to plummet before their very eyes without them being able to save the situation. Ogaaa, the past one year is the worst period of inflation the country has ever had. Yet, no roadmap to revive things. |

Business / Re: FX Crisis: Naira Depreciates By N130 Against Dollar In 24 Hours by nairamaniac: 5:53am On May 06 |
nairalanda1: Nice post. However it's not about all 3 candidates saying subsidy must go. It's about several other factors: 1. The timing into their new regimes. 2. Auditing of what we are really subsidizing. 3. Making sure we can produce alternatives here in Nigeria before removing the subsidy. Tinubu goofed with the ways he went about it bigtime. |

Johnthesuccess: Even at 30% would have it's toll on us. Look we have other pressing issues than such Giant capital expenditure projects. If we invested such in agricultural projects which would automatically provide direct employment, I bet you it would do more good to the general populace than this coastal road. |

Johnthesuccess: Yes it's a ppp model. But better know that in every ppp model, there must be an equity from the host entity. Meaning both sides are actually investing, even though one side invests less than the other. 1 Like |
Travel / Re: Some Epic Coastal Highways From Around The World by nairamaniac: 5:48am On May 02 |
Slytiger:So Europeans would travel to Nigeria JUST to drive on our coastal Highway and return to their country sfter doing that? Cos I don't see many other things to make them want to stay and enjoy any further with complete peace of mind after driving this coastal highway. We better be building an international airport at the starting-point of this coastal highway for these Europeans. So they wouldn't need to worry about the insecurities between our existing airports leading to these heavenly coastal highway. |
Politics / Re: Peter Obi Comments About Road Accidents In Kogi And Enugu by nairamaniac: 5:37am On May 02 |
vanbonattel: Not that he is ALWAYS right, but he is most times right. Just as he is 100% right on this one. Our existing highways need more attention than building fresh ones. If they can use this coastal highway money to dualize all existing highways, I bet you that road accidents would reduce noticeably. But people like helinus here would rather sacrifice the blood of accident victims for Tinubu's unpriotised decisions. 1 Like |
