No regrets. Change the topic to " Things we do to survice in Nasarawa State". Those places you mentioned are not in Abuja.

Car Talk / Re: Does Catalytic Converter Actually Reduces Fuel Consumption? by nairamaniac: 9:28am On Jul 13
treatise:

This submission isn't true. Before my catalytic converter was stolen I was able to cover 479 kilometers with 50 litres of PMS but since the theft, that same quantity of fuel can't cover 192 kilometers.

I'm about to install catalytic converters on my vehicle next week. The one they call Korea/china catalytic converter.

The one that's currently there has been empty since car purchase.

My fuel consumption is exactly what you posted there as your PRE-CATALYTIC CONVERTER installation, which was 192km for every 50Litres of fuel you purchased.
That's like 4km/L consumption.

That's exactly my fuel consumption at the moment.

Would keep you posted.

Car Talk / Re: Is Korean Catalyst Advisable? by nairamaniac: 9:09am On Jul 13
DanielsParker:

Yes it’s similar.. this is just the exhaust catalyst. To get maximum performance, you also need to get for the engine. That’s if you don’t have those ones.
And, yes I’m still using it
Okay thanks.

I'm installing them next week.

I would keep you posted on the ones I finally installed.

I believe my vehicle has 4 catalytic converter pots.

Perhaps they may all need to be of same shape and size.

Good day all, good news is that I’ve gotten the “catalyst “. My fuel consumption is now moderate, my “check engine” light has gone away. I’ve got nothing on my dashboard now. I’m so excited!
Now, it’s time to be extra careful with these mechanics. Anyway I’ve got just one mechanic and he’s aware I bought a catalyst.
so the catalytic converters worked well?

Did it serve the purpose of reducing fuel consumption?

How long did they last for?

Lastly, I would attach pictures if the ones I just recently purchased so u tell me if it's quite similar.

Politics / Re: Reno Omokri: Peter Obi Didn't Conduct LG Elections All Through His Tenure by nairamaniac: 5:41pm On Jul 12
HeadlessMob:

I can tell you that Obi did not conduct LGA election for at least 7 years 10 months because I followed it then. He conducted the elections few weeks to the end of his second term. Obi conducted LGA elections on 11th of January 2014 while his second term tenure ended on 16th of March the same year, just two months to the end. Is that not a shame to the so-called fake democrat?

That wasn't good enough. However no one has said obi is a siant in all ramifications.

But as a HUMAN-BEING, he is way ahead of Tinubu in all ramifications.
The pensions package and deals Tinubu created in Lagos and left for himself for incoming Governors to adhere to tells a lot about his personal ambitions.

I don't want to

Obi: Yes I did, In the year 2014.

Now you all should face the current situation on ground and let the past be.
did he really conduct the elections 2014?

That was last year if his tenure shaaa. All the same, I don't use such parameters to rate him or compare him to Tinubu.

COMRADES, tinubu has signed that agreement in order to please the west at the detriment of Nigerians

We shall teach him a lesson in 2027, let me tell you this fact, the way tinubu will lose 2027 will be unimaginable

Tinubu would rig his way out 2027. I can't see him loosing now that he is in power.
We just have to device means to block alllll avenues for rigging and all forms or election malpractice.

The major problem here posing a challenge is the loan collected which amounts to 14.6 billion USD today. Where did buhari government invested the Lian in and who and who are on the negotiation table when the terms were discussed? Nigeria is too smart to fall to this kind of agreement if not for the hesitation to share money to thieves.

That's why Buhari, his government and APC did everything for APC to succeed them, cos all their secrets would be better protected.

This may have been different if Pdp or labour party took over. Especially LABOUR PARTY.

These politicians have stolen our past, present and future.

Versace doesnt make cheap clothing nor cheap sleeves like that... if/when Versace adjust a piece of clothing, it will look exactly like the original (thats why sometimes it takes weeks before they can adjust the garment for you).

I don't think we can conclude that Wike's own sleeves are cheap.
It's just more of different from the other one.

I have also seen Versace and other top designers twerking designs for each version of their realease.

any smart person can easily see that the jacket that Wike is wearing is a fake Chinko version....hold on...let me point out the obvious mistakes:

It may not be fake. Every designer makes deferent designed&colours for a particular version of release.
They could tweak a particular version into different styles.

What I know is that the cloth doesn't just look good on him.

So let Rachel Breathe...

She is not the wife of Osama bin laden

Names are very symbolic...

Humans are very specific.....

There are no infallible personality here on earth..

So it would be wrong to judge someone harshly because of a few flaws that they exhibited during their lifetime...

What mankind tends to do is to weigh the good against any perceived evil deeds of an individual to determine whether such a character deserves to be mentioned long after their lifetime....

Rachel falls into such category...

And that name would be echoed throughout the existence of mankind.
You are arguing on my behalf. Thanks.

A couple could specifically name their daughter Rachael, cos on lovely antie, called Rachael was very symbolic in their lives.

Choosing a name for your offspring doesn't always express solidarity to the
Bad/good behaviours of the first person to have ever beared the name.

I can go with you with this for the next 30years. Since you want to be stubborn with arguments.

It means that despite the perceived flaws of the individual, there are elements of good in the life of that individual that overshadows and supercedes their Flaws.

It means that a crowd of people can follow the 2nd follower, 3rd follower , 4th follower without a direct connection with the originator.

What I'm saying is that most people duplicating names have more connection to others who have bared that same name, more than they have with the very first person who bared the name.

Adolph Hitler may have been a very bad person. But if I had a very nice uncle called Adolf, I could name my child ADOLF.
Simple!

Re-Opening her case file for what exactly ?

If Rachel was such a bad character, why do we name our daughters after a bad character.

Please "Allow Mama Joseph to Breathe"

Renaming someone after a past bad person doesn't reflect a scorecard of the person's past.

This year alone I know of 2 sets of Muslim couples who named their sons Buhari.

You too have done some great things in your lifetime..

And it would be wrong to harshly judge the woman and man that brought you into this world because of their minor flaws and the mistakes they made..

Rachel did not Kill anyone...

Rachel did not mastermind the Fall of the Twin Towers..

Rachel was not the leader of a Terrorist Organisation...

So your Osama bin laden comparison does not add up.

Whatever the OP wrote up there as her flaws is common amongst most women.

If you think I am lying, ask your wife or mum.

If Rachel was a total disaster, Jacob would not waste 14 years of his life waiting for her hand in marriage.

There are good qualities that Jacob saw in her that made him to hustle for another 7 years just to marry her.

Today you can name your daughter Rachel but will not dare name your daughter Jezebel or Delilah...

Why is that ?

Because Rachel is not a Total disaster, she only had her flaws like everyone of us .

I wasn't comparing Rachael to Osama bin Laden.

I was only trying to make you know that anyone can be individually judged irrespective of great-things his or her child later did in the world.

What you had said that she shouldn't be judged becos she gave birth to Joseph, wasn't a good reason to keep silent whenever her case file is opened.

Mind u, there is nothing wrong is going thru the history of someone, especially if the issues comes up.
It's not like we are all physically flogging her here on nairaland.

She is still the Mother of Joseph...

The Greatest of the 12 Sons...

She gave birth to Quality and not Quantity.

So Allow Rachel to "Breathe", forget her Flaws.
Osama bin Laden gave birth to some great children who did great things in their lives.
So according to you, we should forget all Osama bin Laden's flaws/atrocities?

from the write up it should be a sculpture of a snakes....so that people will think it's a shirine..so when officials destroyed it they found drugs inside..this is poor reporting from hungry bloggers
I don't think the write-up gave an impression that it was a sculpture of snakes.
Besides the write-up particular said "BIG BLACK SNAKE". Meaning it was 1 snake and not many snakes.

Also, the write-up said It was the walls that were destroyed in order to find the drugs. Where did u get the impression that it was inside the snake(sculpture) that the drugs were found?

You just hear of "blank cheque" and decided to make up braindead story when was the last time you saw anybody with a cheque?
When someone says "blank cheque", it doesn't necessarily mean that a *physical cheque* was in place.

The word *blank cheque* is also a *FIGURE OF SPEECH* to mean *I WOULD GIVE OR PAY YOU ANUTHING YOU WANT*.
