Hello everyone. Just surfing and stumble on this thread and I felt I should drop these facts. I qualified last diet having passed the final 5 papers at the Professional level. Whilst I must say that I enjoyed spectacular grace of God both in preparations and exams, I also did some practical things. First of all, I will encourage you to get Pathfinder for EACH course. Yes! At least, practice last 20 diets questions for each paper. Be thorough, don't rush to check answers, if you do, you only succeed in deceiving yourself. Then, textbooks are also recommended. Take Professional level for instance, you can't afford to write SFM without devouring Akinsulire text. It is that critical. I solved all the questions from the first to the last chapter. For CR, Teach Yourself IFRS by Prince Casmir was very very helpful. For ATAX, the ICAN study pack is highly recommended. Devour it from page to page. My lecture note sufficed for AAA but I also got a pack with ACCA questions for like 20 diets as well. For Case Study, get a thorough knowledge of models including Balanced Scorecard, Ashridge, Value Chain, BCG etc. In summary, lay your hands on as much questions as possible coupled with the class notes for those that could attend one.
please could you enlighten me more on how that report in case study should look like..how it is arranged and the important components it should have.

Please brothers.. I seriously need help from you guys...I'm preparing to write case study in this forthcoming may diet...but I don't have any material to give me clue on how the reports in case study questions are prepared, the stages and how it's suppose to be arranged...and the test and pathfinders available doesn't give any clue about this..the path finder showed only the computational aspect of it...My problem is that..I don't even have any chance to attend classes for the exam..so.I m just preparing for the exam for the first time with no external classes...please any body that could help me on a soft copy of materials relating to the case study format, possibly any already prepared report to throw light on the issue above will be highly appreciated...my mail is chiathan@yahoo.com. May God bless you guys.

Please noble Accountants in the house,I'm an ICAN registered student. What is my chance if I apply for ICAN exemption now as the deadline for registration approaches? Thanks.
if you intend to write this may diet...just apply for exemption and submit your exemption credential to Ican head office in Lagos directly, don't give third party they may delay the submission..unless is someone you trust that can submit immediately to their head office..they may process it within one week interval cos they know that you may likely want to register for may diet exam....during mine...it took them barely four working days cos I submitted directly

Really disheartening but funny though....
Receiving text to attend for job interview but reaching there the story changed to pay 6k for medical examination as a mode of selection after much talk to show that all the attendees are morons and needed a change of attitude.. it was really funny to me, seeing Nigeria blotted labour market where too many fraudsters have turn their wheel of opportunity by catching in through vulnerable young minds..in the course of searching for job.

"Please, If you get sms from MEDPRO GLOBAL RESOURCES,161 Ikorodu rd beside Lanre Shittu motors Onipanu B/S calling for aptitude test or interview, do not attend. Those people are scammers, after wasting all your day with meaningless long lecture they we ask you to pay 9k to get a job" Excerpts from OBAEDE who went for the test some time june last year. They got the data from jobberman... I now know better. His excerpts continued.........
This how how they get people; They will use different organization name and email add to advertise vacancy . And their requirement always be any course of study so that they can get large number of people. After they have gotten your contact, they will now send sms to u with their original name calling u for interview. please, do not let them waste you time they don't have any job. I don't understand why you should tell a graduate to pay money to get a job that is not visible.

DEFYING ALL ODDS
The First Noble Truth as posited by Sidhartta Gautama (Budhha) is that " Everything in life is suffering". Life though full of challenges is also full of overcoming the challenges .When faced with adversities, we tend to give up and sometimes ignore them. I read somewhere about an ostrich in a desert. It is said that when there is a storm in the desert, the ostrich buries
his head in the sand, hoping that the storm will go away if he ignores it, and finally gets buried under a heap of sand and dies. We must learn to deal with difficulties as they come.
Sometimes we exaggerate our
problems and regard them as most complex. But if we look around us, we find
people in much worse conditions. As St. Augustine said, "I cried for boots, till I saw a man who had no legs."
Sometimes, we wait till things get better before we act. Some profess that they would like to take action, if only the conditions of life were not exactly what they actually are. This shouldn't be the case, we must strive to achieve our goals no matter the circumstances surrounding us

Below are examples of men who defied all odds to make history

1. Lous Braille(1809-1852) :Was blind and invented the braille system of printing with raised dots to enable blind people to read
2.. Lord Horatio Nelson-(1758-1805) was a British Admiral. He lost an arm and an eye in battle but won many naval victories, including the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805
3 Franklin Delano Roosevelt (1882-1945) was crippled by Polio and spent much of his life in a wheelchair but was elected US president four times
4. Stevie Wonder ( 1950-) US singer, has been blind from birth but is one of the world's most popular entertainer (22 times Grammy winner)
5.Joseph Pulitzer (1847-1945) -US publisher and founder of the prestigious Pulitzer prize was blind from age of 40
6 Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1829)- was one of the world's greatest composers. He continued to compose music even after he totally became deaf in 1817
7.Douglas Bader (1910-1982)sad The legless World War 2 British Royal Air force fighter Pilot). He became a British war hero and flying ace despite losing both his legs in a plane crash.
8. Helen Keller (1880-1968)- was a famed author and lecturer despite being blind and deaf
9. Jack Hawking (1910-1973) : was a British film actor who lost his voice after suffering from cancer of the larynx. He continued to act with others speaking his part
10 Miguel De Cervantes(1547-1616)- Author of Don Quixote, lost an arm in battle
11. David Blunkett- A British member of parliament and former minister, is blind and attends the house of commons accompanied by his guide dog
yeah.. Infact there is no limitation to success.. Most of time we try to invent one and use it to console our weak minds.

How many are those peeps dt scored 90+?. If they ar nt many, then there is no need to write petitions
what are you thinking dude? You thought that those on this thread are fools? All you comments here are how to feather your nest..... So they should petition if those that scored ninety some are much and no petition if they are not?... Because you scored sixty some....must it be always how it will favour you? Please change your way of thought.. Its just an advice#

I realy dont blame any body, i sternly blamed my self.. For the group of friends from the same school that scored ninety some..kudos, but one question is realy begging for an answer in every one's mind which am not yet ready to ask in this thread.....Ɓut cinfore's brain friend has pooh poohed every effort made to compete favourably in this excercise, let those that nailed it ernestly have it even if i dont... Not the opportunistic Jerks. I rest my case by saying... I should have been Smarter than this!
