dbride: @Wadosky, you are on target. Well said!
Because our oil is being smuggled out, the people will now be denied the right to enjoy what they have. Who stops giving his children ice cream because his neighbour also enjoy the ice cream. If you do not want your neighbour to eat out of it, simply drive them or close your door, DO SOMETHING anyhow to stop the neighbour. You do not stop giving ice cream to your children for that reason. Okonjo Iweala, that was a dumb defence for removal of subsidy, very absurd! When a man tries so hard to cover the truth, he begins to talk without making any sense. Again, she said the rural people are not enjoying the benefits of subsidy. Where is this woman from? Now that the subsidy is removed, where will they, the rural people buy their food, which schools will their children attend, etc. I guess a special one set up by Okonjo Iweala. Waoh, now I know that book knowledge is not it but WISDOM of God! Even a 12 yr old lad sitting around has punched holes on her comments. God bless u and ur generation 10*10 million time @Beaf,Leomax and friends wey una na,pls respond to the above comment |

lawyer: This Okonjo-Iweala is just on auto repeat saying the same thing she said on Al-Jazeera tv, Channels, NtA etc and repeating the manifesto of SURE Without addressing the real issues realistically. The truth is that there is a major disconnect between these ministers and the Masses. The way they communicate with the masses is so emotionless and filled with sadism. Listening to sanusi shows yes the subsidy issue is a problem that must be addressed someday but the way they address things is so academic like that no one is ready to accept what they are saying. The problem is really a major disconnect between the executive and the Masses due to their arrogance and mode of communicating these issues. Infact my wife just asked if the programe na repeat |

VULCAN: Listened to one of the serving House Of Reps members speaking at the NLC rally in Abuja. He said that when they asked Jonathan to explain how come fuel subsidy jumped to N1.2 Trillion when only N250 Billion was budgeted; that Jonathan said it was a cabal. They asked him who are those in this cabal. Then Jonathan said he wud send the names to them. Then he said that the next day Jonathan travelled to France with the cabal members on his entourage.
He is saying what everyone who is truthful to himself and who will stand before God one day also knows. The cabal eats and sleeps with Jonathan and made very heavy donations to his election. Anybody who opens his mouth to say that these people are faceless just because they are benefitting from this govt will repeat these words at the Gates of Heaven.
For those of you who dont know the cabal members you can go here: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-816623.0.html This lists those who collect subsidy. The remaining members are a few government officials in NNPC, PPRA, DPR, Min of Petroleum and The Presidency.
Because I am involved in the oil and gas industry i also know dat a few of these guys have been promised Refinery licenses but the condition they gave was that the subsidy must go first. This is evil cause it will take a minimum of 18 months on average to put up a Refinery (this is in countries where things work it will probably take longer here!) So they want us to pay N141-N200 for that long.
The bible says "woe unto you when your king is a child"
So thats the woe we are experiencing. A man that has no experience whatsover in leading men. He studied Zoology so all his academic knowledge prepared him for dealing with animals. Even while he was a Gov. he was taking orders from Alams who had been disgraced out of office. What a shame. Let him cut down on his feeding and kitchen equipment. To budget N75m to refit your kitchen in Nigeria is insanity. Especially when we all know that the kichen will be refitted again next year.
I know that some people are saying that this is a fuel subsidy removal battle: actually its a protest against a father who tells his children that they have to stop eating delicacies cos he is not making enough money then goes on to order champagne and caviar in their presence while stopping them from eating chicken. Gbam @Beaf,Leomax and friends Over to una |

Ill curse, if u can't even put d masses in consideration, cos u can afford to pay for fuel @#140/litre and afford increased price of commodities, what of the poor?, May God I worship punish u all who support the fuel subsidy removal now.

It is a big fail
The whole world don't even report it
Cuz they know what GEJ is doing is right
Is just that Nigerians can be an arrse sometimes afrobaby: who are dese mumu saying rubbish, who says its a failure, then , u must either be blind or dont know what a protest is, we dont need the whole world to report it cos badluck didnt tell us the subsidy was removed via d whole world, if it is only nigera stations that are showing it, we are ok. ode oshi otokx: spectacular success, BBC, Aljazeera, AIT, silverbird to mention a few stations carried live protest feeds. Toks2008: Its so disheartening when i read posts from some people and it amazes me how the mental faculty of some function.
No one is anti Jonathan or against subsidy removal in the real sense. If this guy makes a good move then lets commend him and if he makes a wrong move we simply criticize him.
The way the presiden removed subsidy was too harsh with over 100% increase in pump price and any body with the lowest IQ should see that this move is totally wrong.
If he increased pump price by say N20/N30 after due consultation i believe there will not be any uproar and i must say that this move to sanitise the power industry would have come first before making any move to remove subsidy on pms. So please lets be reasonable and stop making bias posts about some people that are pro or anti GEJ policies. Well said @dbride NITWITS, so if Jonathan had these plans, why budget billions to maintain generating sets in his villa? WHAT A PITY! Thank u bros for seeing beyond ur nose. ^ @leomax,beaf and friends Kindly explain the above cos, i dey wonder!, wonder!!wonder!!!, wonder, wonder, wonder, but i refuse to turn to wonderer |

Bliss4Lyfe: ^ The fuel subsidies removals have nothing to do with rising prices becos the last time i checked, Nigeria now has #500 notes and above.
In the UK, the largest monetary note we have is 50 poounds. Now what does that tell you about prices in Nigeria and the UK at the market? God,u disappoint me big time, I thot u were intelligen.
