@ Mwanamwiwa Allow me to hijack the thread a little and showcase not Just Mt Kilimanjaro and Mt Kenya which you have already done, but other mountains worth visiting if you are an outdoor and Hiking lover. East Africa has an array of mountains most of whom are snow covered occasionally. All these add to the beauty of this region and should be adequate incentive for nature lovers to leave the bustle and hustle of Lagos or Abuja and take a vacation in that region. I can assure you that not even the famed Obudu cattle ranch comes closer to some of the physical wonder associated with these. First is Mt Meru just Outside Arusha in Tanzania [img][/img]

tHE SERENE MORNING PICTURE IS GREAT. BUT HERE IS ONE OF THE GREATEST IRONIES OF LIFE:THE SIGNATURE PROFILE OF MT KILIMANJARO WHICH IS IN TANZANIA (AS SHOWN BELOW) IS ONLY POSSIBLE FROM KENYA AND NOT TANZANIA I UNDERSTAND. SO TO BEHOLD THE BEAUTY OF TANZANIA'S GREATEST TOURIST ASSET AND AFRICA'S HIGHEST PEAK, JUST VISIT AMBOSELI KENYA. DON'T BOTHER ABOUT TANZANIA, RIGHT? [img][/img]

Now that is correct. Without Omo, we would be discussing very little about Nollywood. |
Those who are fluent in RP or the Queens English pronunciation variety are: Olu Jacobs Michael Udokwu Eucharia Anunobi RMD Uche jombo Ramsey Nouah Desmond Eliott Bimbo Akintola Rita Dominic Yemi Dakore Kate Clarion Chukura Chidi mokeme Chika Ike Then there is this actor who always has a single catch phrase which he repeats through out most of the movies he acts in (different Igbo phrase in different movies) I don't know his name but he is very fluent in English. Second Tier This groups speaks well and fluently and have a ring of native language interference (supplemental) in their accentuation of English words. In truth this lacing of English with native flavor is what underlies the naturalness and easy flow of their speech mannerisms. makes their speeches very seductive. Ini Edo Genevieve Omo Patience The Edochies Tonto Duru Chioma Kanayo Kanayo Ohamenze Emeke Ike Justus Esiri Here comes the Pretenders Could speak fluently but mangle the pronunciation a lot out of a misplaced notion that pronounced hisses and muffled sounds are the closest approximation to British or American accents. This is the most annoying cast of pretenders to English/Americanspeake: This group should be taken through proper pronunciation again and told that sibilants do not fluency make when foregrounded. This group is chaired by Jim Iyke Jim Iyke Stephanie Okereke Tonto Dikeh(Sometimes) MikeEzuruonye Mona Lisa Chinda (Thinks shouting out is god articulation) |

Some of those jets have strange flag markers. Look at the interceptors. Are they really Nigerian. And why on earth are you feather sensitive to criticism of the degree of modernity of Nigerian military hardware. It is an act of patriotism to demand that if Nigeria is to go to war, it should do so with the capacity to mobilize the best equipment there is. You pictures are fine but they sure raise the question" Can Nigerian forces stand the competition such as say Cameroon or Ghana. Clearly with the weaponry you showcase here, one would think that Nigerian military is is designed as a scare crow prop to buttress the "giant of Africa" image. |

Eziachi:You have made my day. This is the most insightful entry on this thread so far. Laughingly of-course. |
4 Play:My thoughts exactly. You would think that Nigerian military went to scurry the dump site of WWII debris for residual military hardware.Have they had a look at say Angolan Military just for starters before being shocked and awed by South Africa's. |
