Without any hearing yet? All these noise in attempt to intimidate witnesses. Una go learn! Corrupt mofos! |
Hope commiserate terms will be meted to politicians who steal billions. No be say judge go dey fear. |
Ojemedad:It was allocated to him by the FCTA |

The only true patriot I see here is Kemi Badenoch. I see someone who has resolved to play her part against the worsening chronic state of corruption, injustice and clueless leadership in her home Country. Of course, there are thousands of Kemi Badenochs around the globe with many more evolving. |
Tranquill:Very well. I hope it gets resolved amicably. |
MatrixCircle:They stole it in connivance with INEC. |
One way out in such cases which the family would have considered was to sell part of the land (ensuring the buyer understood the purpose of the land), then use the proceeds (even if entirely) to settle the fees, ground rents and penalties, and have their peace of mind and land. |
![]() Tati-tu yeeaarrss! So if the man no mention am, dem for no realize. Abi na jazz? |
Kobojunkie:These sectional interests are enjoyed by only a very few while their foot soldiers and defenders live as destitutes. Kobojunkie:Those who would do anything to get into (s)elected positions in government - your sinators, misrepresentatives, governors, presidents, etc. |
Kobojunkie:Sectional interests are enjoyed by a very few, why their foot soldiers and defenders live as destitutes. |
They better release that journalist immediately! Are we now in a draconian era? So they'll keep arresting journalists upandan? Abi governor go begin use sign language? And the NPF actually went ahead to arrest a journalist who aired a live event? Nigerians are not yet evolved, ideas such as State policing MUST be Avoided. |
Jorussia:Great clarification. I suspected something was amiss. Either designated land purpose or defaulted payments of levies/ground rents, etc. I hope some resolution would be made. |
There have been multiple complaints of criminality and high handedness in the conduct of persons in authority withn the FCT and FCTA. Another bad case is that of a lady in Asokoro whose property was allocated to some persons and thugs used to force her out of the land. This is not acceptable. It's obvious persons in government are eyeing choice lands already owned by people. A pathetic new low! The FCT Minister should clarify these allegations. |
There is no argument regarding the relationship between the Edos and Yorubas. Anyone who argues this is either ignorant or has more deep-rooted issues with facts. Unfortunately, feelings and intentions NEVER change facts! Zege7716:Edos and Yorubas are of same ancestry. There was never any conquest to install any kingship in Edo. Leadership was (and is) assumed based on hereditary monarchy. By the way, the assumption of the identity 'Yoruba' by some groups took place centuries later. Prior to that there were multiple people - Ijebu, Oyo, Ife, Awori, Edo, etc. That's why you'll still find some people, probably poorly informed even argue Ijebus or Aworis are not 'Yoruba'. They, including Edo are of same ancestry. Zege7716:What is the empirical evidence of one ancestry of the 'Binis' with the Igbos? Who are 'the Binis'? And how are they different from the Esans or Afemais? What Edo dialect is spoken by the Igbos? I'm sure you are unaware of Edo dialects spoken in 'Yoruba' Land. Do yourself a favour to check the history, ancestry, beliefs and culture of Uhrobo, Isoko and Itsekiri. Even this topic regarding the migration of Oduduwa from Edo to Ife or otherwise is in my personal view, irrelevant, and only argued on by a very few. |
A purchased court order No hearing yet between the parties in court. |
When the North gets the Presidency, they should fill every important office with Northerners only. Any pim, deal mercilessly with the idiot. Same with Igbos, once an Igbo is President, do well to fill up every office with Igbos. Also any Calabar president should do same to occupy everywhere with Calabar! Whether Birom, Nupe, Ijaw or Gbagyi don't looseguard o! |
The violent reaction of the lady was unfortunate, but what could have made her react in such manner? Her car seemed carefully parked at their office. What events led to her car being taken from the supposed place of 'offence' to the office? Why decide to deflate her tyres when the car was already within their premises? Even if she committed an offence, she should have been fined and not have her car vandalised. Lawlessness everywhere! This is the reaction of one enraged woman, what could have been the ordeal of other citizens in such situation? Inasmuch as citizens are urged to be law-abiding and logical in their doings, we cannot deceive ourselves to be unaware of despicable characters within these agencies. |
Instead of Dr. Ikpeze responding to the court in Port Harcourt, he went to Afe Babalola who apparently took his side and decided to protected him from having to respond to the court in Port Harcourt. Instead of appearing in court, with the backing of Afe Babalola, Dr. Ikpeze procured the police from Ekiti Command to drive all the way to Port Harcourt to arrest Florence and their three children and Florence’s sister. They were taken all the way from Port Harcourt to Ekiti State where the police simply handed the children over to Dr. Ikpeze, while Florence was held at the police station. ![]() E be like say this Afe Babalola modus operandi na to dey form 'spider man' on hapless citizens using Ekiti State police command as his spider web. 'Baba bring am to Ekiti'! |
More likely 1400 by January 2025. |
So no more democratic processes with APC? This stinks! |
Selling Land to anyone and then scheming to grab the land from the Buyer is Criminal! Except there is proven intention by the new occupants of such land(s) to subvert or undermine the people, security and integrity of their culture and values where consideration through proper procedures may be carried out. But for people who just want to live their lives and face their businesses, I see no reason why anyone should think of retrieving or grabbing sold lands. That's plain wickedness. There is greater prosperity for everyone when there is sincerity, peace and tranquility. |
Shameful |
Clowns! |
Clowns! These ones keep lying to themselves. They can continue to waste their lives deluding on coveting lands of great ethnic groups who don't have their time. Nonetheless, different indigenous ethnic groups senselessly included in their autistic maps have issued stern warnings in the nicest ways possible. It's left for the i.pob to give themselves brain! |
A petition was filed against Dele farotimi at the Police Command, Zone 2, Lagos which invitation he honoured and made a statement. Meanwhile, a petition was filed in Ekiti without notifying Dele Farotimi, followed by multiple sittings held in his absence leading to the issuance of a bench warrant aimed at abducting and intimidating him. If this is regarded as luminary legal tact in Nigeria, pathetic is an understatement. |
AllenSpencer:It's a very terrible mentality. And those that sound that way are not among the 1% o! A lot of Nigerians need serious mental detox. |
badoh:Where is he supposed to prove his allegations? In a court or in a police cell? What is he doing in police detention? This event is already proof of part of the allegations made. You can imagine what helpless Nigerians not as fortunate as Dele Farotimi go through; it would have been doom for them. Besides Lagos is one of the States which recognise libel as a civil offence. Statement made in Lagos, book published in Lagos, but the so-called SAN still went low, using old-school 2 kobo sense to get some reprobates to abduct him to Ekiti! This is one of the reasons whistleblowing is counterproductive in Nigeria. We now have a Country depreciated to the level where a common criminal caught on video collecting bribes as a governor, becomes a party chairman and you still have impoverished folks hailing and defending such. The allegations made by Farotimi are cases in which he was directly involved; he is also a lawyer. It is left for the courts to decide, not chartering some 'police' to abduct him. |
MadamVanessa:The problem is from the South itself. I have lived in the South for a few years and what I've seen is MOST Southern leaders are just shit! Especially the traditional leaders. These are people who are to maintain and promote values which everyone, including political leaders would revere and adhere to. But these very folks are at the forefront of the dog-eat-dog misorientation. They have become tools used to institute fear and hopelessness in the people. And what they fail to realize (or realize late) is the fact that they are also victims themselves. This is in contrast to the North where a MaiUnguwar can fight for justice and right of any individual within his domain irrespective of social class, and is revered and respected by those in government at any level. For instance, rampant cases of police extortion in the South are crimes which would be incomprehensible to anyone who had been in the North all his/her life. And most of these crimes are carried out by personnel/officers of Southern extraction o! |
