Well, a STFT value of 1.2 means the engine control unit (ECU) is increasing the fuel delivery by 20% to compensate for a lean air-fuel mixture.

Normal range is typically ±10% (0.90 to 1.10 thus I've a small leak. My car is still very very fuel efficient 21 litres will give me about 170 - 180kms city driving. I'm testing it for the 3rd time with fuel from a different fuel station and I can send you proof if you want.

Interesting but I'm sure you are getting it wrong. I have never seen STFT of 1.2 as meaning 20% fuel delivery. Both STFT and LTFT are always read in percentage so your STFT of 1.2 means your engine is adding 1.2% more fuel and not 20%. To actually know the real fuel trim you should add both LTFT and STFT together to know how much fuel is really being added or withdrawn. So your STFT of 1.2 is perfect ie if your LTFT is also within acceptable limits

Hey Bosses, I may have an update about the vacuum leak issue.

So I noticed that there's a continous hissing sound around my brake booster and it gets louder when I pour water on it.

I think that's where the vacum leak is as I understand that the hissing should only happen when the brake is depressed.

Also my STTFT reads 1.15 - 1.2 which is a lean condition. Is it advisable to change the brake booster competently? As I have no issue whatsoever with braking.

Also, some weeks ago after I changed my oil pump damper because it broke and the oil pump chain, there's this metallic grinding noise it's kinda loud on a cold start and the noise reduces after I let the car warm for some minutes.

These are the 2 issues I have and I want to correct them. Any advise will be appreciated.

He has to check the oxygen sensor voltage while attached to the car.

Toyota Camry 2008 4 plugs

My vehicle has an issue with its slow running or idle.
Initially it stays at 1000 rpm then later on after driving for a while it goes down to around 700.
At this stage when the AC is engaged there are slight vibrations and idle goes up & down intermittently.

My mechanic checked for vacuum leaks but claims to find none.

Vehicle was scanned & 3 codes came up.
P0172
P0420
P2111

My electrician took out the O2 sensors & tested them & says they are not working optimally.

I just want to be sure of the issue before wasting money on unecessary parts.

Your suggestions will be welcome.

Initially I was suprised but I understood she was scared, because she grip was extra tight during take off and landing and she closed her eyes during those period and apologized when we landed. She even traveled with a guy companion as I found out later but they were on different seats on same flight

becos of team HF inverter passionate fight, I got a Sako 2kva 12V HF inverter with Mppt charge controller for a test drive.....

RESULTS OF MY TEST

I must be sincere, the Mppt function of the inverter is quite good. I used just one 300w yingli panel, and by 7:05 am it has started working and producing power....

BUT........

idle power of the HF inverter is 36w!!!
The fans just kept on working when load is on it, I understand, it has to keep the FETs cool, since most of the conversion is done by the FETs...
the noise is quite high for me, considering the small space the installation is placed.

Looking at the solar conversion, which is good. BUT...hmmmmm, Even when the inverter is totally switched off, and the solar panel is connected, the inverter is still using 35w just to run the Mppt and inverter, while its totally switched off...

This implies that, until it reaches 40w before the battery will start charging..

I had to go back to my LF inverter and standalone CC for maximum benefit...


Even Cworth inverter Fans are Always on with load, no matter how small.

Lol I'm taking from experience. I bought 120 amps felicity solar charge controller but 100 amps was delivered with 120 amps sticker. This was with the old design as 100 and 120 amps have same dimensions but this is the ist time seeing this with the new design as I want to believe 100a should be bigger than 80a charge controller. You can verify by checking the charge current under options, as if it's truly 80a then that will be the maximum you can input under the current option.

If this is your personal experience that they mostly can’t be repaired then it’s only because your engineer is either incompetent enough or has no idea on how to go with the repairs. #NoShades
Next time you should rather say you’ve never successfully repaired one rather than saying their probability is low when they go bad.
My satchet inverter was damaged by lightning and it was repaired, I’ve been using it ever since then without issues.
This is a public space and never say something is impossible just because your personal experience with it states that.
My hybrid inverter that was damaged by lightning has been with an engineer for more than 8months and I got a call last week that he couldn’t fix it….Traditional non hybrid inverters will always be more repairable than hybrid inverters.
