Salaam. Thanks uplawal. Please help me out I really do need help with my problem. Just last week my mother deposited her pay-check into my account and then she calls me all the time and tells me that she needs money. I know its all in an attempt to make me go to her place. So, I had to just hand-over my ATM card to her. But now I have to go to her also if I need money. They are putting me at the centre of their problem and I honestly do not know what to do.

I am from a broken home. MY parents got divorced in 2002. It was a very bad divorce. My mother re-married in 2003 and since then our father doesn't allow us to see her. So we all get to see her when we meet either in social events or when we visit a relative. We have reported the matter to our uncles and there are always promises but nothing has ever been done.I am now able to sneak to her house once in  a while and she knows that I sneak over to see her. The problem now is she's becoming increasingly demanding. She wants to see me all the time but I'm afraid of being caught and I don't want to see her sad. She also wants me to bring my brothers along but I can't. I really don't know what to do.Please help me out. My father is adamant.He is the bread-winner of the family and everyone is afraid of him.Because he cuts off anyone who dares challenge him from his "charity". I hope you understand.

There's a lot more to my story and Insha Allah I'll be able to discuss everything with time.

Of course He did.Allah is the ultimate and whatever happens, happens only by His will. We all live by His will. He didn't deny you breathe because you are an atheist. He gives life to muslims and non-muslims alike. Subhanallah wallahu Akbar.

In all honesty, I've been following the crises over the past week and I didn't want to say anything at first. But the Jos riot cannot be said to be in the name of any religion. I cannot quote from the bible, but I know that our holy Prophet (SAW) has outrightly condemned any unjustifiable killing. There is a hadith that says "He is not of us who dies of a tribal war." And I'm sure the same goes to Christians. No religion will allow such massacre and especially not Islam. It has not been reported anywhere that pastors and/or imams are involved. What is happening is unfortunate but it is certainly not in the name of God.

May Allah help the people of Jos. Ameen.

Every now and then it's either riot, massacre or terrorism all related to Islam. According to my muslim brothers, the quran did not advise muslims to engage in such nefarious activities. I have come to the conclusion after the Jos massacre yesterday that it could be that these muslims doing this in the North do not read the quran. They just walk around claiming to be muslims but they do not read the quran.

Alhamdulillah you are starting to understand things. Honestly, there's too much gibberish going on that people find it difficult to understand what's going on. Islamis indeed a very peaceful religion. Most of the time riots break out no informed muslim is involved just like no informed christian is involved. There are so many acts done by muslims that are not Islam.

As a muslim, do you think that preaching and encouraging many of these muslims to read the quran and helping the illiterate ones with the interpretation will help these hoodlums who think they are working for Allah stop killing people?

2. The manner of approach you use.

Salaam. A woman was fasting and just during magrib she felt her period. She wasn't sure, though and she had no access to the toilet until about 15 minutes later; and she saw the her period had infact started. The problem is she doesn't know when it started.It might have been during magrib or immediately after or even before. Should she make up for the fast? And what about the magrib prayer she missed? she's making up for ramadan.

I also think that Islam is a religion of peace and every muslim has a duty to attract none muslims to the religion and this can be done in part by showing compassion. But I'll let the learned answer your question.

I was heavily depressed , feeling sad and angry. I got up to pray nawafil but couldnt even say my dua when I concluded. I went through the thread I opened and saw the last advice. Went back to the prayer area and said my dua and when I came back, I saw this thread, which Ihave opened before but never bothered to go through and Alhamdulillah as I was going through, I felt like my burden has been lifted.

I've been going through alot for the past 3 yrs.I pray, I fast, and I've tried really hard to improve on my religious practice hoping for Allah to come to my aid. Well, things are getting worse by the moment and I have started giving up on life.

Please put me in your duas.Please pray for me. I desperately need it. I have a huge problem saying what's on my mind and I hope that as time goes on I'll be able to share my problem but there's really not much advice can do for me. What I need is your prayers. I'm praying for all of you.

Thank You very much Abuzola, but my consultations have shown me that shares of conventional banks are HARAM and there's no two ways about it.My friend also knows that.I dont mean to be rude,but discuss it with any scholar around you.Her question is whether she can use the dividend she gets from the shares bought by her father although she doesnt approve of it.Fellow muslims, please help me out.

A full grown Muslim lady in her mid-20s who is still living under her father approached me with the following situation.Please help me find a solution to her problem.
She says that her father invests in shares of banks which she had constantly discouraged but he has refused to stop.The problem now is that he has bought some shares in her name and gives her the dividend whenever it comes.She wants to know her position in Islam.Should she use the money?And what about the shares, considering that she cannot dispose of them since he still holds the certificate?Please help.

In nearly all the western countries including Europe, the RIMARY choice for meat is PIG. There are a lot of farms in these countries to breed this animal. In France alone, Pig Farms account for more than
42,000.

PIGS have the highest quantity of FAT in their body than any other animal. But Europeans and Americans try to avoid fats.

Thus, where does the FAT from these PIGS go? All pigs are cut
inslaughter houses under the control of the department of food and it was the headache of the department of food to dispose of the fat removed from these pigs.

Formally, it was burnt (about 60 years ago). Then they thought of utilizing it. First, they experimented it in the making of SOAPS and
it worked.

Then, a full network was formed and this FAT was chemically Processed, Packed and Marketed, while the other manufacturing companies bought it. In the meantime, all European States made it a rule that every Food, Medical and Personal Hygiene product should have the ingredients listed on its cover. So, this ingredient was listed as PIG FAT.

Those who are living in Europe for the past 40 years know about this. But, these products came under a ban by the ISLAMIC COUNTRIES at that time, which resulted in a trade deficit.

Going back in time, if you are somehow related to South East Asia, you might know about the provoking factors of the 1857 CIVIL WAR. At that time, Rifle Bullets were made in Europe and transported to the sub-continent through the Sea. It took months to reach there and the gun powder in it was ruined due to the exposure to sea.

Then, they got the idea of coating the Bullets with fat, which was PIG FAT. The fat layer had to be scratched by teeth before using them. When the word spread, the soldiers, mostly Muslim and some Vegetarians, refused to fight. Which eventually lead to the Civil War.
The Europeans recognized these facts, and instead of writing PIG FAT, they started writing ANIMAL FAT. All those living in Europe since 1970's know this fact. When the companies were asked by authorities from the MUSLIM COUNTRIES, what animal fat is it, they were told it was COW and SHEEP Fat. Here again a question raised, if it was COW or SHEEP Fat, still it is HARAAM to MUSLIMS, as these animal were not SLAUGHTERED as per the ISLAMIC LAW. Thus, they were again banned.
Now, these multinational companies were again facing a severe drought of money as 75% of their income comes from selling their goods to Muslim Countries, and these earn BILLIONS OF DOLLARS of Profit from their exports to the MUSLIM WORLD.

Finally they decided to start a coding language, so that only their
Departments of Food Administration should know what they are using, and the common man is left lurking in the dark. Thus, they started E-CODES. These E- INGREDIENTS are present in a majority of products of multinational firms including, but not limited to -

TOOTH PASTE,
SHAVING CREAM
CHEWING GUM,
CHOCOLATE,
SWEETS,
BISCUITS,
CORN FLAKES, TOFFEES,
CANNED FOODS,
FRUIT TINS,

Some medication Multi-vitamins Since these goods are being used in all MUSLIM Countries indiscriminately, our society is facing problems like shamelessness, rudeness and sexual promiscuity.

So, I request all MUSLIMS or non pork eaters to check the ingredients of the ITEMS of daily use and match it with the following list of E-CODES. If any of the ingredients listed below is found, try to avoid it, as it has got PIG FAT;
