My cousin was in a similar situation. His wife was in the US on a course. In his case, he traveled to Accra to make a request for an extension and he was granted an additional 30 days. I believe an e-mail should handle this. You all will be fine. They get this sort of requests. Calm down dear and congratulations. VFUSION: Please I need advise.I am so confused. So I recieved my PPR mail on Sept the 19th.And the mail says we shd submit our passports in 15 days..Don't know if this is 15 working days sha.My hubby is out of town with his passport and he doesn't get back till next month..Don't really know what to do. 1.Do I send them a mail asking for and extension?would that reason be valid enough? 2.Do I submit with the kids then when he comes back submit his seperately?
Please what are your tots abeg...
I just weak...sometn wen person don dey wait for since.. Phew! |

That's incorrect sir. ICES will not accept payments with debit cards. raphrulz: I think your normal debit card should work fine. All the information you need has already been provided on the platform. You may just need to narrow your search a lil bit more. Cheers.

These questions you ask are readily available on the respective web pages of these organizations. https://www.bcit.ca/ices/eca/servicefees.shtmlEvery school has unique logistic costs for getting educational transcripts. The bench mark is usually what ICES or WES charge plus courier fees for sending the package. ICES accepts e-mail from institutions(verifiable e-mail) and so I am hoping that should cut down some cost with regards to courier services. The evaluation period for ICES is 8 weeks. I did not use them, so i have no further info. I went online to find these for you. But then, i stand to be corrected. Please get on their website and read the requirements to know what is most suitable for you. Cheers. benyce: Please I need help my people. I am new in this, please who has paid for the evaluation recently ? How much does ICES actually charge? I know WES is $207 coupled with their WAEC wahala. Please I need explanations |

WES has the shortest turn around time of all the evaluating bodies. WES: 4 weeks ICES: 8 weeks. Canadahome: Thanks newmum0615 and dondee07.
Just wounderibg why people prefer WES with their WAEC wahala. Is there any demerit in using ICES? Pls pardon my curiosity... |

Elders,
Please help me be very clear on the two or more certificates requirement. If i have a masters degree and Bsc, am I also to fill that i have two or more certificates or do i require another qualification alongside the Bsc( since my masters degree will be presented ad my highest qualification) to meet the criteria for " two or more"
quote author=Hephgirl post=71138184]
Let's group it 1. Language a. French as high as 54 points b. Better ielts score.. Difference btw Lrsw 8777 and 8.5,8,7.5,7.5 is 13 points
2. Education a. Masters... 43 more points than bsc b. Two or more certificates definitely better than BSC It give 33 more points
3. Have a sibling extra 15 points 4. Nominations extra 600 points 5. Get a job Xtra 50 points[/quote] |

Your write up is apt. I am already your friend whether you like it or not. joo2018: Some speculations on the delay in IRCC passing medicals after AOR.
A lot of people have talked about a seeming change in the process of AOR to PPR. The general observed process was AOR – NA1 – MEP – IP1 – NA2 – IP2 – NA3 – PPR – CoPR. The idea seems to be that it is only if medicals has passed that other stages of the process can continue. But now, medicals or MEP seems bypassed.
I posit that it is due to changes in the medical inadmissibility policy. In April (implemented June 1), IRCC made 2 changes: a. increasing the cost threshold for medical inadmissibility to 3 times the previous level, and b. amending the definition of social services by removing references to special education, social and vocational rehabilitation services and personal support services.
Before, applicants may be found inadmissible if the services required to treat their health condition or that of an accompanying dependent is anticipated to cost more than the annual cost threshold, which, for 2017, is $6,655 per year and $33,275 over 5 years. This affected approximately 1,000 permanent and temporary resident applicants who receive a medical inadmissibility finding. This is 0.2 % of applicants who undergo medical screening.
By raising the cost threshold 3 times to $19,812 per year, IRCC has made medicals almost irrelevant. If before 99.8% of people pass medicals, then virtually 100% will pass now. Medicals is now just a formality and can be done at any stage of the process. It can even be the final stage that will trigger PPR.
My 2cents. Relax on whether you have passed MEP or not. Your application processing is still going on.

Hello, Please can I be guided on how to go about applying? Before I get into the pool I need to understand the way to apply if my spouse and children are not resident in the same country with me. I am the principal applicant. Has anyone been in this situation before? I'm concerned because I am not sure how we will submit the Medicals, police report. I understand that it must be uploaded but hope it won't be queried if it Is seen that they were not gotten from the same location. The other concern is about the ppr. Will I have to return to my home country to submit together with my family or we can do it seperately. Please I need your advice before I begin so I can manage expectations. Been reading from part1 but I am yet to see a related case. Thank you for thinking about this for me. |

Hi, Please I sent you a PM. Kindly respond. God bless you. Afro24: I had known about this immigration program since 2014 because I kept getting unsolicited emails from one of the canada immigration consultants, but I just did not think it was worth the trouble especially when I saw I had to pay a fee to be assessed.
The decision to immigrate was finally made in October 2017, so I proceeded with WES evaluation in November and picked an exam date for IELTS. The result of IELTS was decent as I exceeded the 8777 requirement. Unfortunately, I could only achieve 413 as being grey, not having a masters degree and my ICAN certificate being almost worthless had depleted my score.
At this point, PNP was the way to go but sadly, Ontario decided to be the new CIC so I had to rule them out. I took up French classes all in a bid to improve CRS as the miracle of May 2017 was clearly not going to happen but oboi....that french thing is fun but no be beans oh.
Nova Scotia announced the opening of Category B stream for candidates without job offers on April 28th. Since my NOC was in demand, I grouped all my documents in folders and proactively waited for them.
I successfully applied after 5 exasperating hours of sitting on the floor and refreshing my browsers (Nova Scotia PNP is notorious for their website shutting down following the millions of candidates trying to win a spot and to make matters worse.....it's entirely free)
Thankfully, I was nominated 3 weeks after and as good mathematics students, you know what my CRS came to. Then the journey began.
ITA was received on May 30th ( This draw was unexpected). AOR.......July 4th. Medical was passed on 20th July( this date means alot). IP2.........I really don't know the exact date because I stopped checking. It should be around August 14th.
Ready for Visa Email/PPR........August 28th.
This is to encourage all those looking at improving their scores. Just keep at it and I think desperation in chasing the scores is everything. We will all succeed because I want to be able to eat "oporoko" in that country when I choose.
To those contributing positively on this thread......you are everything.
Alright folks....je veux aller soumettre mon passeport. |
