Were the names registered or unregistered? If registered, it could be a system glitch and you can use the blue button to inform their customer care team. Also, it is important to note that SH only accept/invest in unregistered .com only.

1. I would say partially yes because my full details isn't showing on Whois. Only my state and country is visible.

I also noticed the Registrar showing Key-Systems GmbH instead of the usual Network Solutions.

2. Yes the promo is still on. It doesn't require any promo code but I observed it is easily accessible when you follow the promo link itself, the discount would be automatically applied.

I faced same issue severally so I thought to place a call through to them.

They assisted me in registering the name within few minutes after connecting to a customer care agent of theirs.

You verbally call/spell the name to them and they will immediately register it on your behalf, after your card/payment details must have been saved on the website though.

Try to call them on business days and their working ours.
