I've noticed mount, havertz and Gallagher are always together in training pics

Oloriburuku trinity
What is the exact reason for personal insults? This is exactly what someone was saying earlier. A player out of form, or a player not good enough is a constant in football.

You calling them oloriburuku because you disagree with their level of output, is tantamount to someone here calling you the same because they disagree with your views. I can't understand you and Hesben.

Meanwhile the players train for hours on end, you take one still picture and then use that as yardstick to confirm that they are 'always' together.

This looks good.
Possibly our most potent 11 now. Except any anticipated effectiveness is completely nullified by the guy in charge of said 11.

Saying these Fofana - Galatasaray rumours make no sense is an understatement.

Broja is out for the season, so Potter has decided to freeze out Aubameyang and loan out Fofana, leaving Havertz as our only striker, when he is the only one out of the aforementioned who isn't actually a striker?
If one didn't know better, I will say he is trying to fail. I don't normally criticise managers but there is something about this one that just screams 'completely out of my depth' This is why I insist he is not the one for this project.

After nearly half a season's worth of matches, you still cannot see any pattern with players or play. He's trying to please too many players.

Why play him at all then? Abi the cold start during the match?
Everyone could see that he was struggling.
He has to get minutes. He has to get fit. This is is first game start since November.

I am not sure why everyone is having a go at him.

ya with you and this one but what happens if and when Kante is fit

I noticed most people seem to moving on from Kante or forget that he is still in Chelsea
I think the thing still is 'if Kante is fit' ..To be fair, even though I really want it to happen, I think it won't.

Kante's aging body is unable to sustain his style of play. But Kante is not Kante without his style of play.

If he can sit behind, just interrupt opposition play and then move it to Enzo, then we can have him for another two years. But I don't expect that to happen, and so he will be injured again.

What of Enzo, Kovacic and Felix? Then Mount comes in as sub, until he regains his form.
One of the problems with Mount's loss of form is that he's had to do too much previously. Enzo's inclusion means Mount can concentrate on what he does best - energy in midfield and goal threat. Unpopular, but I think this is how the manager will view it. I might be wrong though.

I think Felix, Madueke, Havertz and Fofana will be fighting for two spots - LW and FW. With Madueke and Fofana being specialist LW and FW respectively.

Most people are not but I am waiting to see an Enzo-Kovacic midfield.

Also, many people will not like this, but I think if Potter plays a midfield 3, he will play Enzo, Kovacic and Mount, pending Andrey Santos joining the team.

Wow! What a window. To think that we regarded Roman as the best club owner. These guys came in, talked the talk, and are freaking walking the walk.

What a time to be a Chelsea fan. There's been transfer windows when we were optimistic of what's to happen. This time around, WE KNOW what's going to happen.

Fulham and Dortmund looking forward to playing Pulisic and Auba.

Meanwhile, a moment of silence for Tuchel who had a chance to live a manager's dream.

Haabbaaa....it can't be up to dat....dat must be an exaggeration
It is not. The transfer fee plus wages over a reported 7 year deal is circa £170m already. Come join factoring in a multi-year deal at estimated 10% APR, and agent fee on top, you can see why it will be close to £200m. That's what it is going to cost the club. One single player.

I hope this guy makes baby Enzos free of charge for the club.

Benfica want three payments in two years for Enzo Fernandez. Chelsea’s reply was that, to pay in two calendar years, they want to pay less of a fee up-front.

Benfica have so far not responded to this offer, which was received at 6.15pm.

Obviously more than greed, there's something else at play here
There has to be something else at play.

These guys are shooting themselves in the foot. Surely other clubs are watching the farce unfold. This club has got to be worst negotiating club in history. It's like they are selling their very last valuable asset.

We should never go near these rascals again. The greed, or whatever else it is, is incredibly alarming.

I never hear of this one before in the football world. Is that legal?
I don't know of anywhere else in the world, but here in the UK, factoring happens with regularity. I have personally used it before. I see no reason why it is not legal.

If this is true though, that immediately tells me the overall outlay to Chelsea for this deal will be nearing £200m, depending on how many installments are being negotiated.

This sale will not hurt Chelsea. It will be financially foolish not to take it. We will not get another chance.

He has no new contract on the table, and could sign a pre-agreement with Arsenal from February 1st as a free agent, and we receive no penny.

Baba I don't think it's funny really. It's not his fault that he's not as good as Enzo. We all know that his talent has a ceiling level but he gives 100%.

That 100% he gives is why others are valuing him at £45m. This is why some of us support our own. Because we know that even when they are not good enough to play for us, we know we have given them enough exposure to cash in £45m.

Can you imagine what it would mean for us, if there are 6 Gallaghers that we can sell for £45m?

So for this alone, I think we should be giving them a round of applause and thanking them for their service. Thank them for being good enough to raise us money, politely acknowledging that they were not good enough, rather than laughing at them and calling them AM wannabes.

My opinion sir sha.

Top four won't be anything special considering the amount of money spent on the squad. If he achieves it with a team comprising mostly new players from the academy, that'll be special.

If he makes top four and fails to win a trophy this season, critics will always point to the humongous amount spent to achieve it.

That makes it something basic not special for a club like Chelsea.
Great thoughts. I agree.

"potential replacement" no mean say the player go perform like whom he dey replace, ask United many number 7s

Then again don't you think it's funny that you think this idea is some uncommon genius idea that clubs or scouts ain't aware of.

No be the same scouts be wan scout lava, Sandman and the likes
Nonsense. In one sentence you are saying 'potential replacement' might not do well but saying that the same scouts are looking at other unknowns. We are either taking a punt on unknowns or we are not.

And what part of my post suggests a genius idea? It's not a genius idea. If anything, it's stating the obvious that scouts constantly miss what is sitting in right front of them until it costs £100m. How have you misunderstood that so massively?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by nateevs(m): 7:13pm On Jan 26, 2023
Sometimes these scouts dey confuse person.

So apparently Brighton wanted £100m for Caicedo (topic for another day) but are apparently lining up a potential replacement in Amadou Haidara.

I might be stating the obvious but surely there's only one move to make here. Surely the scouts are thinking what I am thinking right now......Right?

After all, they are 'scouts'...right?

You’re typing craps.

Milan wasn’t elite when they had an evergreen Maldini starting for them. Roma wasn’t elite with Totti, Man utd with Giggs, Juventus with Buffon, Javier Zanetti with Inter etc.

These were all players who played and gave their best past their 40th birthdays. What’s your issue with Thiago Silva?

At the moment, there’s no single CB at Chelsea who’s better than the man, until we have someone to fill in the void he’s going to leave, we’ll keep praising him to the high heavens.
Donstan18, like Havertz10 are just extremists. Extremists usually do not rely on facts. It's more about what they feel.
