I think what people are saying is that the GOP voters have been radicalized into Trumpism.... so much that it will take a Trumpian character to rally the numbers required in any future elections. I am talking Presidential now.

The moderate GOP is dead. Brian Kemp is a self-professed Trumpian, yet is being called a traitor by even Georgians, just because he decided to follow the rule of law instead. This is the same 'rule-of-law' conservatives.

The evidence of the radicalisation is seen partly in the call for voters to sit out the Georgian run-offs. Despite the consequence of the Democrats winning the Senate, folks are willing to abandon Conservatism because they didn't get Trumpism.

Where does the moderate GOP aspirant go, when the base is yearning for Trumpism?

William Barr, not the DOJ, requested to drop the case. People resigned in protest against Barr. Judge Sullivan requested a review. I am sure that was the last of it.

I think they are preparing for the possibilty of POTUS not giving the case any attention, based on lack of substance in any cases (along with no evidence) brought before the lower courts so far.

So they are screaming POTUS in public to give the appearance of substance, but instead pressuring state legislatures to hold sham hearings to give the appearance of electoral fraud evidence.

You must give it them. It's a solid plan. A destructive one though, that at this moment, has already led the country down a path of third world status.

I am a liberal conservative but trust me, the GOP in its current form needs to be destroyed as a reward for this madness they've embarked upon.

Most of us moved to this part of the world for amongst many things, the safety of truth - the rule of law. I do not want to leave in a society where the truth is eroded and the truth is what you call it, just for the sake of party affiliation.

They are not ditching the claims of fraud. They are reiterating that electors should be picked as a consequence of the so-called wide-spread fraud.

They realise that their supporters are either refusing to scrutinise court hearing documents or are unable to read and understand them. So in court, they are safely admitting 'no fraud' but in public and on SM, whipping up so much disinformation, that a large majority supports the campaign. This way they can point to the enormous support, when the eventuality of this plan comes to fruition - selection of self-appointed electors to the electoral college.
