Most of those votes will be mail-in and early voting which favours democrat. Ohio will break red strongly.

Trump's over performing in only one county with 51% of votes already in. He's underperforming in over 20 counties. Biden currently under performing in no single county.

Those are good stats for Biden. Still early though.

I am not sure it was outright optimism. I would say cautious optimism at best from everything I saw

91% of Florida in. Still votes to count but Trump's already surpassed his total for 2016. Indication that the record turnout is really on both sides.

It's not madness. Lamps never played Mount in the wings last season. So why was he doing it this session? Because Lamps was only managing the side in the best way he could. He is privy to things that you lot can't see.

He mentioned it a lot of times. We didn't have a preseason. Players' condition was way below standard, following a long lay off, due to Covid. Pulisic as you see from today is still not 100% as is Ziyech.

Mount is the fittest player in the side and in front of CHO is pecking order, so he plays. Also considering playing Jorghinho and Havertz in the same midfield, you need the chasers who can run all day to create the defensive balance.

This is why Mount played on the wings not because of some madness or conspiracy that keeps coming up in here every time.

It is indication of the basics being solid. It means on a good day, without silly individual errors, we could potentially destroy average teams. It does also mean we are going toe-to-toe with the stronger teams and not getting beat.
