Who is training the defenders to do back pass almost all the time? Lampard. Knowing that you don’t have the players for back pass why implore the tactics of passing to the goalkeeper all the time thereby inviting pressure. In as much as liverpool and city play back pass but their transition from defense to attack are top notch, mostly Liverpool, same can not be said of chelsea. The team look fragile and disorganize when defending is as a result of poor tactics. It’s unfortunate you guys use stats only to judge an outcome when you can really see the problem with your two naked eyes while watching, stat doesn’t tell it all, in fact stat is just an aftermath of the game, watching the game with your eyes still remain reality.

You still don't get this. Whatever it is that you see with your naked eyes results in the second least amount of shots conceded. That's just fact! So it comes down to what each one of us is "trying" to see.

I see stupid individual errors, right from defenders to GK. I see no structural problems. If anything, I see the beginning of a seriously strong set-up. A team on the verge of achieving great things. Which is exactly why I am not even moved.

Lampard on the other hand is trying to root out those individual mistakes one after another, whilst maintaining the overall structure and playing style. This takes time and people need to be patient. But people just be jumping to type anything that comes first because they hate Lampard and Mount.

The next person that comes here to propagate lies go need to bring out stats. The manager has done his job by getting his team into the box and limiting the opposition shots - 2nd best in the league on both counts.
