It all comes down to opinion. I don't find it boring. I agree it's not producing consistent results but it's certainly not football that is taking us backwards.

My point is, people were saying the same about Klopp 3 to 4 seasons ago. Some even went as far as calling him a fraud. One night of Klopp success doesn't elevate Klopp to extraordinary status; neither does it become a stick to beat Sarri with.

Chelsea youth have started to reject new contracts in droves. They have seen through false promises. This is a result of the failure to integrate youth over the years. These are youth who have won umpteen league and UEFA tournaments and are seeing their mates who they trounced at youth level making progress at other clubs.

The likes of Ake, Romeu, Chalobah etc have no business playing at other clubs whilst we field Zappacosta, Drinkbleach, Bakayoko etc, not to mention others we lost like Thorgan Hazard, Kevin De Bruyne, Salah.

Marcin Bulka has now rejected new contract and is joining PSG. Hudson-Odoi is refusing to sign.The likes of Juan Castillo, Joseph Colley, Geroge McEachran, Bradley Collins, Josh Grant, Jared Thompson and Tariq Uwakwe all have contracts which expire in June but could yet be persuaded to stay with the Premier League outfit.

Everyone has had a role to play in this, unfortunately. It was only a matter of time. Pre-Roman, long-term Chelsea fans would have been creaming to have youngsters the likes of what we have now. However, with Roman's money came new fans, new demands, new expectation, and subsequently, extreme impatience.

It's understandable that with the money and success, status and hence expectation rose to a new level. With that, however, has come unprecedented impatience from fans. Sack sack sack. A Manager will not play a youngster if they fear they are in danger of losing the fans.

On Higuain or Sarri's comments on Higuain?

If the former, I think there is a consensus of opinion. He might have been good in the past but there is no requirement to keep Higuain any longer. His legs are gone and that should be that.


If the latter, I would not take Sarri's comments as verbatim "I want to keep Higuain". I think he's just chosen the wrong words in his attempt at diplomacy. I cannot believe Sarri would ignore the chance of signing e.g. Aguero in place of Higuain.

When you come from Barca to play for Arsenal, you go in with confidence. So it's cool especially under Wenger.

Nobody gave ears to same conservative managers' excuses that affected Hazard in Chelsea, but we must accept this for Sanchez at united.

Only those who have an agenda against Hazard never gave it ears. I have been consistent. You have players like Robben, Messi, Hazard, Sanchez, you can't give them to that Manager. They will be toast in a couple of seasons.

There's no reason why there should be expectations of a disaster. As long as we are able to rise up to the challenge in the transfer market (here's hoping we can), and pick the right players, Sarri will show exactly what his playing style can achieve, with elite players.

In his case, it's little to do with bigger club. He was at Barcelona prior to Arsenal and barely a flop there. He was 29, on his last legs. He moved to the wrong club, with a Manager whose tactics were incompatible with his abilities and energy. He dropped down the pecking order and consequently, lost confidence.

He was never a poor/average player.

i don't see what he is doing to Kante as improvement, i see it as waste of talent because it is not helping the team

Before this season, no one ever saw Kante as a player with the ability to play box to box and contribute with goals. Kante had one goal and one assist in each of the previous two PL seasons. This season, he's got 4 goals and 4 assists in the PL so far. And this is not an improvement?

In fact, Kante is one of the few players in the team that executes Sarri's tactical play nearly 100%, due to his intelligence, understanding of positioning, passing, pressing, and defending. Sarri is not responsible for your unwillingness to see Kante as much more than just a DM.
