Thank you so much, Igwe Nattybanta. I appreciate the resourceful feedback. Another question now is, if I do the medical let's say on the 35th day and my Emirates ID doesn't come out until after one month. I hope that one doesn't attract any fine?
Once u go for medicals and Biometrics for your Emirates ID, it should be out in 2 to 14 days. unless u forgot to go for the Biometrics. bear in mind that some companies would collect the ID and keep it for themselves lol.

Ok bro. I know that part, thanks any way for clarifying on it. My question is what if I don't do it and the 60 days pass, will I pay for overstay or what? Because it's the company that sends you for medical if I'm not mistaking. Just asking oh. Thanks so much once again

Abeg anybody with answer. I just wanna know
Those Visa issued as Work/Employment visa only allows permit to enter the country to take up a job which becomes invalid after the 30/60days validity period whether u enter UAE or not.
You need to process your resident permit to allow you remain in UAE, thats why you have to do the medicals and get a Resident premit of 2 or 3 years as the case may be.

good morning great niggas, I actually have something to ask, is it worthwhile leaving Nigerian and working in Dubai with salary of 100k per month, because with the cost of things over there, what percentage of money can someone save with that kind of money.. secondly how many days a week do dey work over there, it's on hours basis of per day..... please someone who is currently in Dubai or just come back to Nigeria should give me adequate information..... thanks in anticipation

The terms of your contracts and work hours should be specified in your offer or by whoever processing your visa.
Most of the jobs of about 100k monthly comes with free accommodation and transportation from the accommodation to your work location daily.
Work hours is between 8 - 12 hours daily and Most times 6 work days in a week.
if you feel u can't get a better offer other than the 100k monthly then you can go ahead with it. also compare that with your present status in Nigeria.

Leave shit hole, dubai is more shit hole for we africans, no beta job here, except u live a very bad life in naija if not brother remain in naija use ur 600k and start something, some people are been paid 900 here, there is no job here. If someone warn me I won't have come, there is practically no good life here believe me, u can start business with ur 600k and grow it. Most nigeria even other africans are regretting why they are here, I finaly secure a job in jabal Ali, the work na die. I wil not advice anybody I like to come here. I just get time to press phone now, I wonder when I will get such time.

What works for MR A might not work for MR B.
That's where skills, experiences plus favor, lucks and so on comes into play.
Most guys i have met don't have Job preference. when you ask them what kind of job they are looking for , they tell u, "guy any one even if na cleaner"
while some other guys have standards and only attempts jobs of above 2000Aed+Accommodation at-least for the first 1 month. try not to be desperate so u wouldn't make wrong choices.
Asked someone for his cv last week and the question he asked was " For cleaner, security or labourer cos those are the CV i have"
Anyways all the best to the Job seekers and Intending visitors here. sad

I'm feeling so blessed now!!

Let me put it this way "Job found me when visa validity remains 5 weeks to kalas". About 3weeks ago, I stumbled on a job site, but after creating a profile on the job site, I abandoned it not only because job listing on it are not updated but because of its complexity, it's not as easy as indeed. Funny enough, I didn't spend up to 5mins on the site before I abandoned it.

Was surprised when the job site sent a mail to me last Wednesday 25/04/2018 notififying me that an employer has interest in my profile and that I should update my profile to attract more employers, I ignored the mail. Lo and behold, on Thursday 26/04/18, the HR called and said he saw my profile on the site and he would wish to know if I'd be available for interview at the head office in business bay any time between 8am to 4pm on sunday 29th, I told him I'd be available by 10am.

After the interview on Sunday, he told me to come with my luggage, as well as original copy of all necessary documents the following day I.e Monday 30th. Went on Monday, was given an offer letter to sign, taking to the company accommodation and was required to start work immediately (same day). I'm expecting my employment visa to be out any moment from next week. was thinking he would ask me for visa fee just like many other companies do, but Glory be to God.

I've been fed with 3 square meal by the company since I got here on Monday. It's Indian food and it tastes somehow, but I got no other choice for now. The camp is occupied by 99% Indian and Pakistan, I'm the only black here. Communication na war, maybe I'll be forced to learn Hindi.

Glory be to God!!!

I must say this, getting a job here is only by God's Grace, most companies now demand for visa fee before they'd hire anyone. And the fee demanded vary from 400k to 850k, no jokes.

So Think ham well and plan ham well before coming!

Congrats to you . i wish you more success in all your endeavor .

You worked for 44 days without a visa and was not worried. now there are positive feedback from your CEO and u are now worried?? smh at the bolded part. Anyways for what its worth, any serious Employer can get you your visa in 48hours. so just be hopeful cos i doubt if u even have a choice here.

thanks
its not a big deal, book a ticket with a longer Layover of about 18hours and u might be entittled to have a transit visa. or better still book a multi city ticket Lagos -Kenya - Dubai. and get a transit visa at your expense at the Port of entry which is just 20usd.

My question is that with people spending up to 700k to 800k to leave nigeria and work in dubai, using a graduate as an example, will such person be able to make such money in a year or more, cos nobody is really telling anyone anything about payment and stuff and i notice everybody is taking the risk, but i need someone to pls break it down for a graduate willing to move to dubai in search for job and how much he can make in a year. Thanks

I believe its worth it if you get any job above 1000aed or even anykind of job.

lets say u r paid 1000aed Monthly which is about 97,000Naira. you would have made 1,164,000 Naira at the end of the year.
lets say u r paid 1500aed Monthly which is about 145,500Naira. you would have made 1,746,000 Naira at the end of the year.
lets say u r paid 2000aed Monthly which is about 194,000Naira. you would have made 2,328,000 Naira at the end of the year.
lets say u r paid 2500aed Monthly which is about 242,500Naira. you would have made 2,910,000 Naira at the end of the year.

PS: There are ppl here earning above 10,000 aed monthly so don't limit yourself to jobs of 1000aed always aim high.

So you have to think about it wisely.

What is the difference between UAE studio apartment and bed space

If there are two different things which is better option

What are the prices

Its just like a Self Contain as we call it in Nigeria.
Ranges between 4000 aed and above in Dubai
and about 2000 aed and above in other Emirates.

Whereby the owner of the room would sublet the bed spaces as shown in the pics between 500-750AED per bed to make up for the cost of the whole room and utility costs. which might be 5000aed in total.

PS: Accommodations are more expensive in Dubai than other Emirates

You are same person that said your agent said he/she would send u a document which u would take to Abuja to obtain your visa. so i just don't get u again asking same thing and saying u r confused.....

90 days UAE are approved in UAE and issued at the UAE Embassy in Abuja. S your agent would send you the approved copy and you would have to take it to the UAE Embassy to obtain your Original Visa after you must have Paid for and completed your Biometrics at the Embassy.

A friend missed her flight on Thursday coz she had only $200 as BTA but later made it $400 and bullied whoever tried to use first time Traveller mind to obtain her...
Hold your $400 with some change to cool hungry hands if you won't be able to bully them back..
I'll advise you don't let any officer ride on you.....

But come to think of it, if she had 200USD as BTA and is traveling to UAE, Whats her plan on surviving in a foreign land with that little amount? which is about 70,000 Naira?
Some people need to be guided on the right thing to do to be successful and not to be stranded in a Foreign land.
The major problem for Job seekers is coming to UAE with little money and hoping on help from above or " My Man dey Dubai" only little succeed with that idea. so if you have 1m Naira, carry them all to UAE and Spend wisely.
Many people miss lots of job opportunities/Interviews cos they don't have 15AED on their metro card to go for interview as they try to economize the little amount they came with..

Thank you my brother......So sorry for late reply....
1. The job on my employment visa is guard
2.my contract at MOHRE via checking with the app, is guard also, but my basic salary there is showing 900aed as basic....
3. Thanks, but we have had cases in this company where the mgt shift the fine to the guards n started deducting it from their salary
4. I meant the firm, won a new contract; I have a valid Emirates I'd, I have had for months now to expire in 2019
5. A case like this, who handles it, labour or sira?
If I decide to refuse to work, how does it look like?
Pls I want to know as much as I can, and the best/worst outcomes of this situation. Thanks

They would only shift the fine to u if you failed to pass the SIRA/DPS at the first time. but its always on the Employer. Just inform SIRA whenever the case arises. its not yet time to make a case. cos some employers are funny , they might decide to keep you at home for insisting.

Good day my pipo, pls this one goes out to all the security gurus out there, am having issues with my company, I came with direct employment, by the end of this month I will be 9months in this company, still they have not done DPS/SIRA training for mi or most of us in fact, despite repeated mails to management, now they want mi to become supervisor in a new contract they are expecting, I asked about DPS again and they told mi to start first, that they will renew my 3months permit card den later dey can send mi for DPS.....
And besides no salary increment...they are still paying mi aed1200.
Also they paid us our salaries via envelopes this month, saying they have issues with the bank....imagine!!!
Pls this is giving mi too much tension, in my current position, what are my best options?

1. Kindly confirm the job written on your employment visa/contract. cos some company employ people as cleaners/housekeepers while making them do Security jobs at same pay. in a way of cheating the system as MOL wouldn't accept any Security contract with a total of 1200 as salary.

2. I believe you can verify your contract from MOL by calling them, then u can know if you are being cheated.

3. As for the DPS/SIRA, if they don't enroll you, don't be worried as even if The police get hold of u working as a security without being SIRA/DPS Certified, the fine goes to the company and not to you.

4. Having a new contract after 9 Months? This part i don't understand again. seems your firm are up to something else. are you sure you have not been working on a Visit Visa? and now they want to give you a proper employment. Maybe you need to add some clarity so i wouldn't be making wrong assertion here.

BAD idea. the cheapest reasonable University here is about 35,000 aed (3.5m Naira) per session. i would advice you go to other more developed countries for your studies. you can only come for some professional certifications ranging between 1-6 months and bag your millions monthly on successful completion. depending on your field of interest.
