really d guy did a very good job. But failed on the contract, would have pointed out the mistakes and loopholes in the visa and contract but no need cos those scavengers are checking the thread.

Pls am having issues with the agent, the visa is out according to my agent but told him I need to see evidence before sending him the 2k dirham he needs before it's being released but he insisted that the company does not entertain such.

It's a security company, pls I don't know if you or any other Nairaland with integrity could be of assistance.

I need someone I could credit with the 2k dirham nd transportation so that he/she goes with the agent to retrieve the Visa, so that I don't loose all having paid part.

I think u should help out ppl in this thread by finding out a better and easy source for securing visas for them so as to put the scavengers off. Just as Etihad airlines helped lots of ppl now enjoying in dubai .

Regarding what ken1982 and ugsams has said, it has always been said that there is no guarantee to getting a job wen u get to UAE, it's based on hardwork, favour, contact, money and mostly prayers.
 I know of 3 guys that went and came bk after 3months without getting a job and some that were told to exit and wait for their employment visa that never came through for more than 5months. 
Something I found out from two company PRO (Indian and Pakistani) in dubai was that they prefer direct employment cos they charge the employee the whole money that is to b used in processing the visa (3000aed as bank guarantee deposit and others which amounts to about 5300aed) so that once the employee leaves the job, the deposit becomes theirs. But on normal grounds, the employer is supposed to pay those fee. 
But the joy about going to search for jobs urself is that it gives u opportunity to show what u got upstairs and negotiate a nice salary for ur self. I recommend this for those that have got lots of job experience/certifications in Nigeria. Or else if u got no experience u might end up wit an unskilled job or a job of less dan 2500aed.

Advantages of genuine direct  employment v‎isa.
You do not need to worry about searching for a job wen u get there, or paying for the accommodation while u search for d job in a land u know nothing about.

Disadvantages of direct employment.
Sometimes u would be deceived by ur handler that ur salary is 3000aed but wen u get there u notice ur original contract says 1000aed. Then u wouldn't ve a choice dan to continue. After paying about 8000aed to secure it. 95% of those agents are not sincere.

I have been following this thread for sometimes now and I have been making arrangement to travel.,am coming with a three month visit visa and av got a friend that I will b staying with til I get a job, pls I want to know do I still need to book for a hotel since I will have to show evidence of hotel reservation at d airport? if no what do I tel those immigration officers.

secondly;is it possible for me to get one way ticket because some of d airline says return ticket since its a visit visa, how do I go abt this? .

Secondly: no airline would accept ur one way ticket on a visit visa.

firstly u have to ask for d contract, and also the transaction number from ministry of labour (starts with MB****) which would show that ur visa was even applied for. If I confirm it has been applied for, den u just have to be patient for the visa to come out. But give me ur passport number and date of birth lemmie check first.
