enlighten us? what are some of the things that have changed. The labor law coming into effect on Jan how does it benefit the employees now? also the passport retention issue by employers is it strictly for Menial workers?

changes I meant was wit respect to people I knew here. Wat regards d new proposed labour law, I think u should read it carefully only then would u know if it favours employees. All I know is that it's straight forward but there r still loopholes in it. Passport retention, I think so

how did u go about the companies. What's their email address host like? Is it yahoo or Gmail? Cos if yes, might be a scam. But most importantly don't send money to them. U can do all they asked but money, no way.

Hi Guys, I need a quick help in confirming an info and I have tried reading through from the first page and google but couldn't find it. I plan being in Dubai for transit from 26th to 30th of this month (November) before another onward trip, but the same agent I bought ticket from at wakanow gave me a visa that is valid from 15th until 28th of Nov, but when I raised it he said it only means I have to enter Dubai before the 28th that it doesn't mean I need to leave by 28th. Kindly help confirm his claim is right before I go flouting their immigration rule. Thanks

go to wakanow.com choose a date then u would see different prices. It changes by the day. You can change ur money at the airport u would see those exchange guys loitering in d airport car park.

he will always have to go through a "Travel Agency"....am sure he does not mean an agent as per those thieves who act as intermediary to do nothing..only forward documents to travel agency...LOL...how ironic...they should call themselves "high class postal delivery boys"
