I can't help but ask why Nigeria Universities charge ridiculous amounts for Transcripts. Imagine Uniben Charging 35,000naira to send a transcript to an email address while a UK University is charging below 10,000naira to send it via post.

Before going to aboki,if you have a return ticket,your bank will give equivalent of 2900 pounds. So you can try that for a starter. However load your naira card you can buy ALOT on amazon paying with naira card

When you get to the UK is it possible you go to the university and write that you want to defer your admission

I pay for priority, exactly 5 working days wen be 22/1/ ,gbam mail drop for decision and collection, but e come on a Friday when time done go well well, so I no get choice but to wait Saturday and Sunday.
Haaaaaaaa, see tension for my body, I loose appetite oh, fever start ,na AGBO I TAKE CALM MYSELF DOWN ,the AGBO come sweet sef...wetin tension do me...Hahahhaahhaaaaaha.

Hello House...A friend who got to the UK on Sunday just told me now that I should fill the UK locator form 48hrs before arriving.

That he didn’t fill his form and they fined him £500 at the Airport. That they said they’ll come for the money later.

I don’t know how true is this....pls gurus and people who have arrived should help us out o.

I am a lady.yes I have experienced it but it was later rectified. Is your account verified?

I used Flywire to pay part my of fees two weeks ago, the rate was 680Naira/1Pounds. They are fast though, three working days. Don't use them if you don't have enough. They partner with Flutterwave for Nigerian payment, hence the high rate. Go to UBA and fill a form A, go with your offer letter, international passport, invoice from your school and one passport photograph.

A 3 year old is capable of being taken care of by another person unlike the case of a nursing baby. You'd need to have a reason that makes separating the child from you impossible.
In the absence of that, your son can travel to join you in the UK with his father.

You'll be better off if you have a family member/friend in the UK you can totally rely on - coming to the UK alone with a baby planning to take it out to a childminder/creche every so often so you can attend your classes while trying to adjust to a new environment will require a herculean effort on your part.

My advice - recruit a suitable female relation and leave the baby at home with your husband and instead travel with one of your older children, old enough to either be in primary school and be comfortable sat in front of a TV for the 2 weeks quarantine period/any time it takes you to find a permanent address before you can register them in school. Bottle-feeding wont kill anyone. Then when your husband's done, he brings the other two children across.
