Computers / Re: How Important is the Internet to You? by natur(m): 6:43pm On Mar 29, 2011
Life without the internet is a very BIG expensive one. Imagine the loads of freebies you can get through the internet, and how, almost impossible, you can try for the same freebies. And, that's just one aspect to it. Imagine searching information for a project in a library, and only hard a gist to search a library in another state or location. Transportation cost, time and energy, even accomodation will have to be the sacrifices you will have to make. But a computer as library and the internet as a route or network to this libraries saves us the hassles, energy, time and money as we conveniently surf the libraries from the comfort of our home, or a walk into a cyber cafe. Currently, I'm learning the web design and internet related programs to aid my upkeep. Hence, there are lots of folks doing the same ever since the advent of the internet thereby taking care of needs, families and making contribution that eased and lifted our burden. I first smiled at the topic, with the notion that I had led a couple of years when there seems to be nothing I've heard that spells I-N-T-E-R-N-E-T, and therefore I can still lead the old school life, without the internet. The fact is that, I may be able to adjust without a direct use of the internet, but my life and yours will suck without the internet.
Education / Re: Is Homework A Waste Of Time For Primary School Children? by natur(m): 8:17pm On Jul 15, 2009
Whoever said yes do not understand the deal. Home work is parent-child thing. It goes a long way to bring a child to the parent(s) the idea of what is going on in the class room.

Fear, low self-complex or otherwise may cause a child not to ask questions in the class room. This is something he can simply bring up to a caring mother and get a full understanding from step to step explanations on the part of the parent. This also create an atmosphere for a healthy child-parent relationship, by and large. And also, let a parents realise his/her child's abilities and capability

The simple truth is that:
Even when the parents are doing the works themselves, it gives them the insight on what the child are being taught at school;
It clears the ground for child-parents relationship;
It encourages a free time studies on the part of the child;
It creates a teacher-child-parents relationship (ie the teacher provides the parent the tools and guide to formally educate the child in a more domestic way, and the parents helps to reduce the burden on the part of the teacher which in turn speeds up the processes in educating the child.

Business / Re: You Have Money And You Need Business Ideas? by natur(m): 6:25am On May 29, 2008
hmmm, mine's for the creative minded fellas. i started my business of hand-made greetings card last december season. i opted to raise around 10,000 ngn just to keep my pocket fat for the celebration. this turned out to be lucrative than expected. well, i'm now dreaming of making occeeeaanograpy a house hold name. i sold out 400 cards on valentine making around 40,000. now i had the big dream of investing 400,000 for the christmas season, hoping to go walk into the bank with a fat bag now this time. if you are good in artistc work, the sky is your limit ( though nothing comes easy). just keep your eyes on already-made hand-mades. I do not dublicate peoples work; i buy ideas and add to mine. i'll still be able to show samples of my work.

If things could get better-off to have our name dragged through the mud, for a while, it's okay by me, afterall what do we call our pride. And, what are some people trying to make of the American government and that of the Spanish. Maybe, we should give kudos to the presido because Mr. Bush also rigid into the white house. Otherwise, I can't buy their idea.
Politics / Re: Dr. Uba Made History : 16 Days In Office As A Governor by natur(m): 3:55am On Jun 16, 2007
It doesn't matter to me if we had a hundred governors in five years or something; what matters is that virtue is prevailance at last. And, that this will bring good tidy to the state; in a while to the nation, somehow. Thanks to Almighty.

Yeah, remembered for something in deed. Remembered for viceous practice. grin

Sure bug, your contribution is of help, and is define. But, tell me -- and I guess -- centrino is better-off considering this add-in, or maybe is not what I think. Can I know exactly what-and-what could be added to PM to make it a Centrino. Thanks Hell a lot.

Crime / Re: How To Stop 419 and Yahoo Boys by natur(m): 6:59pm On Jun 04, 2007
@warfarian
I had wanted to justify this act of yahoo yahoo of a thing with the same points you highlighted here. But, tell you what? it's a biased mind that let the thing up in your head the way you are viewing it. Otherwise, tell me if this white men, or whosoever you want to vent this things upon are the same wicked folks that robbed our fathers of whatever they had. It's a clear fact that the mugus you talked about are the criminal-minded folks but that does not justify the means of the scammers.

@nuzo
Thumbs up! I agree with you. But, tell me any website you can order something from the comfort of your room and had it delivered like a room service, here in Nigeria. I mean, making online purchases. Visit every site, and Nigeria will have no room for payment. This is enough reason to tell you that we are losing at the long run of it. Let us contribute in our migre ways, and sanitize our land.
Crime / Re: How To Stop 419 and Yahoo Boys by natur(m): 4:05am On Jun 02, 2007
ifababa:

Yeah ,you know the way i term EFCC, ??, Its just another medium for legalising your advanced fraud scheme, If Ribadu,the so called Obasanjo's Police dog would find it difficult to probe its owner of so many allegation about financial misconduct, then what are you saying? or whats its use?, Youre then telling me that the only way to legalise your fraud scheme is to have a connection at the highest order with the Mr Ribadu and Efcc associates, Then it doesnt matter what you do, hmmm ? is that what youre telling me, ?because thats what EFCC is, ?

Bullshit, So let this guys be until we have a real stanard measure of purity, because Ribadu himself is not pure and thats what im saying,

Well for purity i'd suggest one of Fela's Idea, Let this people in goverment swear by the gods [Sango,Oya,Ifa.Amadioha,Ogun , etc.]before going into office instead of doing it in the samely corrupt courts that we have in the country, All bullshit,

If we talk about a first class degree purity then nobody will be left out. We will all visit the jail at a go. And, if that be the case nothing will be worked out because it's funny to have nigerians in prison at a time. And, even if that could be possible, it's like having another view for a normal life.
Crime / Re: How To Stop 419 and Yahoo Boys by natur(m): 2:06am On Jun 02, 2007
I had been tempted so many times to join this racket of Yahoo! boys due to the financial situation of me and our family but my conscience will never allow me to. I've had friends pressing and persuading me to; I've had to make thoughts, to justify the act but have never come to something to convince me of it's credibility on the slightest manner. I've seen and known people who has given up on everything they can do to achieve what a nice dream. I know of a friend who is willing and, kind of, clearing ground to join the league of this big game hunt. Yes, I will agree with anyone who talks about the racket of nigerian government and it's officials. It is no news the height they can go as to plant there sinful acts and reap whatever they are aiming at. And, just like someone will say if it is your uncle or father, what will be your contribution. For sure, we will all justify the act. But, wait a minute; what are we really driving at. What's all this shit about nigerian government when we are trying a solution to cub away this YY of a thing from the great Giant of Africa. Make your little contribution, and nigeria will be better off.

Giving it a mare little taught, it's kind of hard to do away with cyber fraud in our dear mother land. Kill a mosquito, and you have prevented the breeding of a thousand mosquitoes in a long run. We are polluting the minds of our friends a great deal and are contributing, in geometrical progression, to the ill of this ill-gotten wealth and easy road to money (I mean to the those of us, YY boys and girls). And, to those of us who think it is of no consequence to checkmate 419, I will say: half bread is better than non. Have the EFCC number and work with the men. I wonder though if you will ever be rewarded with a big sum the way they are doing it in the western land. But in everything, help nigeria gain a good name.

my little contribution.
Romance / Re: My Boyfriend Wants To Be 'Just Friends' by natur(m): 10:41pm On May 23, 2007
There's no perfect game in this life of ours. Something may sound like this, and is like the other way round in the look of it. I can see the sincerity in your words. Tell you what, You can not draw a perfect line from our contribution here but as far as I'm concern give this guy a chance -- but have other people in your life -- because you can never tell what is in the heart of a man. I have died so many times for a particular girl, and is still dying for her. It's been a time now, say three years but she hardly would never remember getting acquainted with me. Though my own story is a different story to tell, but what I am driving at is that a guy could be damn crazy about you but still yet never let you in on it.

Though, many will tell you to give up based on personal experience but consider the fact that they just heard from one side of the story, and had no glimpse on what this guy look like to talk of his style. Listen to your heart.

Business / Re: Your First Experience With An ATM Card? by natur(m): 5:22am On May 05, 2007
wow, this is another experience i will not forget, i inserted the card because people were around me and i did not want them to know that was my first time and equally do not want to take their time, i did not read the instruction well when i saw the amount i thought it was asking me on which note do i want my payment, so i press 500 waiting for it to ask me how much i want to withdraw behold the machine brought 500 out when what i actually needed was 30k i have to leave the spot to another ATM point to withdraw the balance

@Beline, I'll give you credit for being so smart but funny, I can't help not laughting out my heart.

Well, just like Beline above, I'll alway try to figure out things without being told. Except for the written statement on the receipt, "your financial instistution is not available" which troubled my mind as I thought that the dough will be debited without the machine pathing me a dime. It's ok; good to save up your time.
Dating And Meet-up Zone / Re: In Search of a Decent Girl in Nigeria by natur(m): 9:57pm On May 04, 2007
I believe kazey has succinctly answered that question but permit me to add one or 2 lines:

If guys would learn to look in the right places, they would find the right girls/ladies for them. However, it takes a decent guy to fully engage a decent lady in a serious relationship. Look in the mirror first; what you give is what you get.

Good talk, Ra! You gave the answer in the simplest form, and I believe you are been propelled by the decency in you. Oh my GOD! kennyhunnyinn, can't you see; Ra's one of the decent Nigerian girls. No prophet to tell it.
Politics / Re: Musa Yar'adua Is The New President Of Nigeria! by natur(m): 11:18pm On Apr 27, 2007
I'd rather not bias my mind here "landers", and if I'm to choose who'd be nigerian president from the list of candidates at the poll, I'd say Yar' Adua. The name sounds sweet pronouncing it but, neverthless, I'll be fooling myself if this is meant to be my reason. Yeah, it's obvious OBJ has a deal with the man but just like Ngige of all people now in Anambra, I believe the man will stop at note but to nail our old foolish presido. If you like bet it with your life, and I'll first dig six feets for you. Anyway, what course have I to choose a man of tyranny. I'm simply talking about Buhari, or is he trying to portray himself as a saint. You don't practice the use of your left hand in your old age; nor have I another course to uplift the hand of a shameless face running into the hands of the white Americans just to spit on the faces of us all landers. This is just about the people we are looking up to have the chance, and if you think other candidates have a chance to access this seat of presidence, you better wake up (I think I bluffed here, but , wait a minute). Though PDP is a party of  monsters and thiefs, but it is not always through that evil beggets evil. It is high time we choose the candidate irrespective of the party. The way I view things, I have come to some conclusion that this partywise of a thing is part of the things behind our problem. I liked AC as a party but does belonging to this part that I like most make Atiku worthy enough to rule our dear motherland. Yar'Adua though not a saint but a look at his feat is enough to convince me that he will bring us a change.

Just the way I viewed things, nobody's giving me money.
Nairaland / General / Re: What Makes You Special? by natur(m): 11:40am On Apr 19, 2007
I can understand from experience that you are beautiful not because of those adornment ( this is for the girls-- or the ladies) but because of those things that made you different. Unique that's it. What makes you unique makes you special just like the song from the Backstreet Boyz, "What makes You Different Makes You beautiful. We all are unique in our various ways; Everybody is special for one reason. Unique -- and nothing but for uniqueness.

Politics / Re: How The Pdp Got A Landslide Victory In Anambra State! by natur(m): 7:05pm On Apr 16, 2007
It's obvious to note that Obj is a mastermind in every case regarding the election at Anambra state. Of what importance is the two days public holidays in the country, if not a road block for Ngige and his counterpart to get ticket from INEC. To hell with baba and his page boy.
Politics / Re: Did You Vote? Does Your Vote Make A Difference? by natur(m): 6:49pm On Apr 16, 2007
I'd rather not vote again. What does it profit a man to spend a whole day under the sun and at the end what happened? I voted only to see my effort been destroyed as if I am not suppose to be counted as a citizen. I was embitted because my right is not to be counted. And, just like Dat Nigga Raw will put it: it's simply because I'm not from Aso Rock.
Politics / Re: Election Results: Nationwide by natur(m): 6:27pm On Apr 16, 2007
INEC had already advised people to disregard the results on their website, as some hackers are capable of posting fake or inconclusive results on the site.  Hence, I guess the results would only be posted on the site after the complete results have been announced via other media (TV, Radio, etc).

A round of applause for this BIG fools excuse by INEC, and enough shame on the faces of us all nigerians. Not even a reliable website. They have really messed us up -- a great deal. And, what they thinking anyway?

Macalurs, I'd like to foremost thank you for the sheet music. I really appreciate it. I'd like to hear more about you and music. You started all by yourself? I guess you were born to do it in music. Keep your head up brother. And, once again, thank you a great deal.

Okay Macalurs bro,

You can hit me anywhen: occeeeaan@yahoo.com, that's it. How do I suppose to develope this hear-and-play stuff. I guess it will be much really good for one to learn the tricks. At least, I don't have to look up for sheets before I can ding out the notes of a particular piece.

Cheers and ta-ta.

Okay Macalurs, you've really tried the best you can. It's just quite unfortunate for me. But, anyway, if you ever stumbled on the stuff, let me in. The link you gave did nothing to get worked out. That's by the way, How you living, brother?
Music/Radio / Re: Musicians And Vocalists' Thread by natur(m): 2:38pm On Feb 17, 2007
Thanks for the effort relating back, macalurs. But, how can I get to train myself with sight reading?It seems to me that this is the biggest challenge one has to face before identifying his/herself as a pianist, or keyboardist [so to say].

Still hoping for the sheet.
Bless you, bro.
Music/Radio / Re: Musicians And Vocalists' Thread by natur(m): 1:42pm On Feb 15, 2007
Dude,

I believe you're already somewhere in the musical field. Do you also play the keyboard? Anyway, I can only boost of a few things in music. In order words, I'm yet to wake up from the the grasses. I would lead a fufilled life, if I ever see myself gracing and colouring occasions with my wonderful yet-to-come never-found-land kind of music, though would have it bases on the classical world. Do you have sheet musics that you can share or got a link real free stuffs. I'll be so greatful to have stuffs like CANON by J. PALCHELBEL.

Cheers.
