When will Nigerian Songs Stop being Just about Money and Sex?

This is a question I've been asking Nigerians .
When Kiss Daniel released "One Ticket" featuring Davido ,even without listening to it I knew that it'll be just about love,sex and money - truly my thoughts were right and confirmed after I listened to the song yesterday.


Is it that songs that don't promote sex,gold digging ,drugs and love don't/can't sell or make waves in Nigeria ? Because this is getting beyond control.
When the current government riggged the OSUN gubernatorial election which Davido's uncle was a participant I thought henceforth he'll be dishing out only motivational,sensible and soul melting songs . Songs that can criticize bad governance and abuse of power but no - It must be love,sex and money.

In America , any little issue is taken to heart by their singers and celebrities but in Africa , Nigeria precisely how many celebrities even condemned police/SARS brutality in their songs? None.

Most major Nigerian hits of the year ranging from Assurance ,Soco,Fake Love,Nwababy,Aza,Fever,Unleash and One Ticket are focus on three things - Love,Money and sex ,as usual

Baby baby baby ,my body - is this all Nigerian artists know how to offer ?

Burna Boy's Ye is what I can classify as a mature and sensible vibe . Before you come for my head, I'm a huge fan of Wizkid right from 2012.

Nigerian artists are hoping to win Grammys and Emmys , the thing is who's going to give them Grammys with these wack songs ?

Pastor Canon Iyke Egbuonu Says "Buhari Is Not The Man In Aso Rock, But Jubril From Sudan" - Nigerians React (Video)


A video currently trending on twitter shows Rev Canon Iyke Egbuonu telling his congregation that "the man in Aso Rock is an impostor, not the real Buhari but Jubril from Sudan"

He said:

"... And I'm beginning to believe that that person in Aso Rock is an impostor, not Buhari. I have checked every other record I think it's true, I know you are watching me online, I said that man in Aso Rock, I'm beginning to believe that assertion, he's not our President, because Buhari had cancer that cannot be treated anywhere in the world except miracle happens. If miracle happened, they should tell us how it happened, who prayed for him? Suddenly, a man who was being flown abroad anyhow for treatment came back healthy. And this one now is shorter than the former one, younger than the former one, and is healthier than the former one, and is more wicked than the former one...."


The pastor talked about what Aisha Buhari said about her husband...

"Nnamdi Kanu said if Atiku says he doesn't know that the man in Aso Rock is not Buhari, if he swears with Koran, he will die immediately..."


He claims they did plastic surgery and talked about the 'difference between the main Buhari and the plastic one in Aso Rock'.

He says Rochas Okorocha is the worst enemy of the Igbos.

Nigerians are already reacting to the the video, and are Blasting the pastor for even believing that 'the man in Aso Rock is not Buhari' and telling that to his congregation.

Now, when the man sees that his wife doesn't respect him, he will quietly seek divorce. In the end, the woman will realize she has made a terrible mistake as she has become a baby mama (fairly used).
