Do you also know that hundreds of thousands of barrels of crude oil in future sale are being used to settle a separate loans for the subsidy regime under buhari. You guys are not informed, that's the reason you make comments insensibly What kind of defense are you putting up. We are talking of borrowing here. Stick to the subject matter? Haven't tinubu removed subsidies and increased taxes? Did buhari do those? |

The writer is just being clever by half. You are comparing 3 years with 8 years . The right thing to do is to compare how much buhari borrowed in his first three years with what tinubu has borrowed so far |
Career › Re: Help! It Seems My World Have Shattered by Naustine(op): 1:46pm On Jun 09 |
IyaTola: First, I'm sorry you're going through this. Losing a job unexpectedly, especially when you carry family responsibilities, can feel overwhelming. But one termination letter does not define your value, your competence, or your future.
Right now, try not to make the mistake of seeing this as the end of your career. You have four years of experience in microfinance, portfolio management, customer relations, loan recovery, and field operations. Those are valuable skills that many financial institutions, fintech companies, cooperatives, NGOs, and sales-driven organizations are looking for.
A few things to focus on immediately:
1. Control what you can control. Take time to understand the exact circumstances of the termination and ensure all your entitlements and documents are properly handled.
2. Start your job search today. Update your CV and LinkedIn profile. Reach out to former colleagues, friends, church members, alumni associations, and professional contacts. Many opportunities come through referrals.
3. Be open to relocation. Since you are willing to move, expand your search across states. Your flexibility increases your chances significantly.
4. Don't carry the burden alone. While you may not want to tell your mother immediately, find at least one trusted friend, sibling, mentor, or relative you can talk to. Difficult seasons are easier when you have support.
5. Protect your mindset. Losing a job creates fear about the future, but fear can also cloud judgment. Focus on the next step, not the next five years.
Remember this: many successful people have experienced job loss, business failure, or major setbacks before finding better opportunities. Four years of experience is not something that disappears because of one difficult day.
For now, treat this week as a transition period, not a defeat. Update your CV, start applying aggressively, and let people know you're available. Opportunities often come from places we don't expect.
I believe your current situation is temporary. Stay professional, stay visible, and keep moving forward. One closed door does not mean your story is over.
You could post the following:

Email address (if comfortable sharing publicly) Thanks for the encouragement and heads-up. I've already done everything you mentioned above. Amy current location is Delta but I'm originally from imo. How many firms are there n Nigeria? ... and they contacted each and everyone of them to come to this conclusion. I wish when these people stand in public and open their mouth to shout these figures they pull from the air or their butt ... I wish someone should hurl a nylon of poo into the gap and down the throat. They'll then have a valid excuse for talking sh*t. Is there any firm in Nigeria that doesn't depend on generator? |

Kemetian: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH WHAT PRESIDENT TINUBU SAID.
HE WAS CALLING FOR A GREATER MORAL SENSE AMONG NIGERIANS.
THE ANIMAL WAS PUT IN PLACE OF THE HUMAN BEING IS A SIMPLE MESSAGE: WE MUST VALUE HUMAN LIFE.
HIS JOB IS NOT ONLY TO DEPLOY TROOPS AND THE MILITARY TO DANGER ZONES, BUT TO SPEAK AS THE CONSCIENCE OF THE NATION, AND REMIND NIGERIANS OF THE SANCTITY OF HUMAN LIFE.
ONLY SOMEONE WHO HATES HIM ALREADY WILL HAVE A PROBLEM WITH WHAT HE SAID. So I'll need someone to breakdown what my president said in English? |

YesDaddyTill203: Nigerians are always making a mountain out of a mole. Yes, you can feed for several days with 10k. I was just in Lagos last week. I bought 3 frozen Titus fish for 5k, I even cooked vegetables, all for less than 10k I just have a taste for that fish; I have not had it in a while, and I read online that it's actually the best fish to eat. Hence, I decided to send someone to get it for me.
A family in a rural setting could have easily bout those fish, cook it, and eaten rice and Eba for days. 2k meat is just 5 pieces in the market.. how is a family of 4 or 5 supposed to eat with 10k for days? |
