Image123: No one drew the line except you, every normal person voted for it as an option. That's reality. What's the option for you IF there's no network in a ward or local government and electoral officers cannot mandatorily transmit electronically? What's your suggestion? If there is no network is your immediate network, bvas is designed to still send it in offline mode and it automatically submits when u get to where network is. . You are making it seem like tech have not already taken care of this issue of no network |

Putindbutt: Don't mind them, they are only jostling to get contracts from FG. Let them mention any country in the world that does real time transmission. Others don't have the capacity but it only Nigeria that has the capacity?. Even Elon Musk is vocal against real time transmission. So we should continue with the current flawed method? |
Politics › Re: Opposition Lawmakers Stage Walkout As Reps adopt Manual Transmission of results by Naustine(m): 4:34pm On Feb 17 |
hotseat: There are none so deaf as those who wouldn't listen.
Electronic transmission would work effectively mostly in cities and urban areas where network is mostly available.
In rural and far-flung communities, network is practically non-existent.
So, are we saying those in communities with little or no network coverage should be disenfranchised?
This is why the HoR had to make a u-turn by adopting both electronic and manual method of election transmission.
Since both Houses having come to an agreement, the next thing is to forward the bill to Mr President for his assent and that puts the matter to bed.
Have you heard of offline mode or synchronization before??

Politics › Re: Opposition Lawmakers Stage Walkout As Reps adopt Manual Transmission of results by Naustine(m): 4:20pm On Feb 17 |
ChukwuObe: But why do we have so many dumb people in this country? Any law without a provision if the clause fails is bound to cause and create chaos. Imagine there is no network in Obi's polling unit, will they be happy if the results of the votes are not counted just because the e-transmission is not possible? What happens if some people spend lots of money to buy signal jamming equipment and deploy it in their opponent's region to prevent e-transmission, will they not be crying if the results are voided? Please use your brain. Imagine if card reader was made mandatory when Jonathan biometrics could not be captures, would he have voted without manual option? See what someone is saying In 2026 |

I think El Rufai outsmarted them here just to send them chasing shadows. If he said he got the info from someone, the NSA would be able to narrow down the leak to the few people around him who are aware. Mentioning tapping has got the ONSA looking at the wrong direction. I think it's a decoy |

[quote author=DaddyJapan post=138476626]A knife can be used and abused, Alhaji. Thallium sulfate also has other industrial applications.
Optics and Glass Manufacturing: Utilized in the production of low-melting, highly refractive special glass and optical lenses.
Electronics: Used in photoelectric cells (photocells) because its electrical conductivity changes with infrared light exposure.
Chemical Research: Employed as a reagent in laboratories for organic synthesis, such as in the preparation of thallium salts and as an oxidizing agent in reactions.
Mineral Analysis: Used for the sink-float separation of minerals.
Medical Imaging (Related Compound): While not the sulfate form, the radioactive isotope thallium-201 is used in cardiac perfusion scans.[/quote
Which if these uses you mentioned falls under the portfolio of the NSA? |

Gajagojo: Yes it is very toxic but it needs to be consumed at doses. Above 500mg and it does not produce death in minutes or hour but in days or weeks
It cannot be reliably delivered for inhalation unless maybe you capture the person and lock them in a room with fumes
Skin contact at a single episode will not kill unless maybe you can put it in the person's cream So bottom line they have to swallow it and it kills quite slowly over days weeks or months
This is something that can be easily checked
Bottom line don't go around telling people they don't know what they are saying because you checked Google.com
You might be talking to a professional
It's not even a clever poison to use if you want to cover your tracks It has a tell tale sign of alopecia or hair loss
It would be just as stupid as using a letter bomb From your write up it's obvious you are science inclined, now I'm baffled at how you played down the ability of this stuff knowing fully well that science believes that 1 percentage chance of something happening is not negligible |
