Kastonkastroll: This is weakness from the FG taken to another level. First the US bombed the country, and now they are sending troops. Troops to do what? What happened to our own troops?
This is just showing your weakness to the world. And the next thing if care isn't taken, that crazy trump will be salivating about his Venezuela treatment in Nigeria.
We have been defeating terrorism and bandits quietly. The US are always welcomed in assisting us with intelligence. But sending ground troops, that should be a no-no.
We are a sovereign country and we can tackle our own problems! I hope this is sarcasm |

When I was still in Owerri, I was close to manager of their sub station at egbu.. he took time to explain power issue in Nigeria and it has something to do with old wires and infrastructure. I can tell you this for free, we are not going to achieve steady power supply even in the next 20 years.. it will take radical change willpower to achieve that |

[quote author=Freetech post=138347604]What this report failed to talk about is population explosion.
This is major driver of most of the economic problems including insecurity Nigeria is facing.
No country with population doubling every 20 years can make appreciable progress.
Also consider that more than 40% of the Nigerian are either too young or too old to produce nothing, they are consumer only
Nigeria stop procreating anyhow, embrace family planning and monogamy[/quote
Guess the population explosion started when apc and tinubu took over right? |

Politics › Re: 25 Killed In Nigeria's Deadliest Reported Islamist Attack Since US... Reuters by Naustine(m): 12:09pm On Jan 31 |
AlphaTaikun: There will be NO total solution to the jihadi terror attacks and foreign Fula militia bandits attacks across the border areas of Northern Nigeria because the jihadi terror group such as the one called JNIM in Mali which is linked to Al-Qaeda is the biggest jihadi terror group in West Africa right now NOT even BH.
JNIM terror group of Mali has already capture more than half of Burkina Faso and over half of Mali as well since the Russians took over from the French forces. The Russians made matters WORSE! JNIM operating deep inside Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger Republic is the BIGGEST Jihadi terrorists group in the whole of West Africa making West Africa the BIGGEST region in the whole world with the highest terrorism incidents.
I have to remind those who are younger in age here or those who have low memories, that this is the reason the former President Goodluck Jonathan as of 2012/2013 deployed Nigerian Military forces to Mali to fight alongside French and Malian troops against the Jihadi gangsters. Goodluck Jonathan CLEARLY said if the jihadi insurgency in Mali wasn't tackled then the terror war in Nigeria will get worse.
The 2 insidious countries of Mali and Mauritania are where BH and ISWAP have been getting jihadi trainings and logistics for fighting in Lake Chad Region and in Nigeria with many BH jihadis NOT being of Nigerian origin but jihadi mercenaries. The non-existent borders in many West African Sahel countries make things even WORSE for security and peace.
So, it's totally IRRESPONSIBLE for anybody to be gloating online or saying that the unending or intermittent attacks by Jihadi terrorists is due to incompetence on the part of the current Nigerian President's administration and the Nigerian Military. This is an international security issue and the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Nigeria, Ghana, Cote D'Ivoire, etc, and indeed the rest of the world MUST be involved Militarily in CRUSH these Jihadists in Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger Republic and other countries in the West African Sahel by using the most advanced weapons available such as laser-based weapons and attack drones which Nigeria and other West African countries do NOT have right now.
As a man who has advanced knowledge of global geopolitical dynamics and counter-terrorism analysis for decades now, I MUST commend Nigeria and the Nigerian Military for a good job done so far because this terror war from these IRRESPONSIBLE jihadis is a war that is being fueled by the current Tuareg-led insurgency in Mali which started BEFORE the one by BH Nigeria and in the Lake Chad Region. The joint Military operations involving United States and Nigerian Military forces MUST be reinvigorated to get peace. I was tempted to believe you , then I remembered that our government have not been able to tackle internal security issues such as banditry. I'll never accept that they're doing enough |
