In most cases it is cheaper to import a product and resell than to produce that same product here, simply because cost of production is too high in Nigeria.

Cement production involves mining with heavy equipment that can only be imported as well as it's spare parts and paid for in dollars,those responsible for repairs are also expatriates who will not be paid in naira, add cost of diesel for running the factory at over 1000 naira per liter as well as importing gypsum and others then you will understand. Pay a visit to the quarry of any cement manufacturer then you will understand cement production is capital intensive.
This headless mob attacking me for saying cost of production...i asked one to give an alternative explanation to mine and the farm tool said the reason is Tinubu . Na so sentiments go make you fail exam.

Please, stop defending every nonsense from these manufacturers. So, the heavy equipment used for mining are imported monthly? The present price is twice or three times it's original price and you want to justify why this is so?

It's clear that these guys make sure they ruin the economy for their own gains. There should be increase of the product but not the nonsense price we have today.

All manufacturers are thieves in the current situation facing Nigeria. You increase the price of your products and then reduce the quantity. They know that when the price increase, the demand will drop. So, to address the demand side, they reduce the quantity. So, if you take 1 before now, you'd need 1.5.

Just my thought on the recent scam by these manufacturers. Until the government step up and start monitoring all manufacturers, this theft won't stop.

There is no time frame for a response from IRCC on your application. However, the present processing time is 10 weeks which is beyond 1st March based on your application date.

You could be lucky to receive a decision earlier before the stated processing time (10 weeks).
