I just got passport request and I am currently in Portharcourt so going to Lagos this festive period can be stressful. I want to ask the following

1. Can I courier my passport to them?

2. Will I have to courier it to VFS in Lagos or to Embassy in Ghana?

3. How do I go about it when I want the courier company to help me pick it when it is stamped and ready?

4. Which courier company would you guys recommend?

5. Do I need add to the passport my receipt from VFS during application?

I did my medicals at the consultant practice ikoyi. I just checked on a laptop . It says my application has been approved and it has my name and , uci no, and application no. So will keep checking vfs website for dispatch mail I'm guessing.

it's funny how people suddenly become spiritual during the waiting period. We all abuse Nigerian Police and other Government agencies of bribery and corruption, but honestly we are worse than them. Because we need visa, we'll quit those things we feel ain't right, and start marathon fasting and prayer......just to get visa and return to who we were.....
I remember when I first applied, I fasted ehn? Lots of prayers. Had just one prayer point in church, Canada Visa o God! At prayer meetings too nko? Canada visa yi na ni Oluwa...... stopped secular music.....became completely gentle. After two weeks, I was called for medicals......so happy me, felt mehn, I don cheat God. After another 2 weeks I got the two annoying dispatch mails from VFS..... I was denied visa.

of course I knew what my mistake was, and don't get me wrong, I wasn't wayward or worldly, I'm a Christian and I believe in God.
so I tackled what I thought was the problem, prayed, and submitted my application, while I continued my normal life. Fasted only when I felt I should, prayed about visa only when I felt I should, not really out of fear.......true, I was a bit scared at a time.....but eventually I started doing like "CIC go do your worse". And eventually, the visa came.

It is good to trust God for everything, but believe it or not, God will not do for you what He expects you to do yourself. Play your part, and let God play His own, and the result is gonna be PERFECT.

hmmm........ one of my cousins who actually was a victim of refusal after medical passed reapplied on 31st Oct. He only uploaded the medical request form he earlier got to the medical section cos he applied online. two days ago CIC updated his medical to medical passed. I believed CIC must have seen his earlier medical details cos he was worried may be he shld have requested the clinic to send him an acknowledgments of medical done in order to upload.
Still praying fervently for his pp request........so I pray for all those expecting passport request youshall get it this week in JESUS name. If you believe this say a big amen!!!!

It's not too late to apply for January admission right now. If you have all the necessary docs ready, apply! A lot of peeps got their visa approved within one month or 6 weeks here. Apply and if you need to defer your admission, you will after your visa is approved.

Hi all, Is inclusion of Statement of purpose compulsory for paper Visa application? Secondly, can one apply against January now?

Upfront medicals is done before u submit ur application and included as proof for having satisfied the medical requirement.Once ur application is submitted, u can't do anything about it any longer, u can't send documents except CIC asks u to...At this pointn u can only wait for CIC instruction to go do ur medicals..

My cousin finally got his TRV yesterday thanks to God. Who says college applicant without tuition deposit cant be considered....... Gods at work........ Good luck to all trv awaitees .... I say receive your trv now in the name of JESUS

hello morning! Pls i applied for a study permit visa at the canadian VAC on 5th of Nov and i was told it take 2weeks for them to email an applicant for medical report but its going to 3weeks now and i haven't gotten any reply. I just want to knw if dat means i have a problem with my apllication. I will be glad if any1 can reply me. Thanks

thanks to all NLanders for your help. i have paid d app fees using my FCMB Visa debit card.
This one is off this thread but I also applied to the university of sheffield, U.K. today and I got a mail stating that I have been offered an unconditional offer at their school. Isnt this way TOO fast? how did they review my app so quickly? abi na scam? biko, nairalanders help me put mouth.

u can't because u have sumitted already expect d vo request u to do it.upfront medicals r for people that want to sumit thier document and they will add the report to it.hop this help

Please is it advisable to do an upfront medical for someone who submitted on the 4th Nov for Jan intake. Please ur contributions will be highly appreciated

These people eh? I applied once and was denied due to ill finances. Am applying again, said no ties back in Niger and when i go i wont come back? Pls do you know hw much am supposd to hav in my account dat wud convince them dat am financially eligible?
