Like that is not enough, their payback tends to get worse with time. Seems they pay back promptly the first time to get your trust, subsequent ones would come with defaults.

Why?

Because they believe that you'll lend them again without much effort since they paid the previous one before due date.

The goal is to earn your trust then boom, they'll borrow a huge amount which they'll never pay back.

Those cards you're using are most likely Verve cards that's why they're not going. Verve only works for online payments withing Nigeria. Netflix isn't owned by a Nigerian. Use a master card or visa card from your bank and it would go.

I've been using the master card of my bank for Netflix subscription since 2022 and it's been going. Infact it's on auto debit so they just debit me once it's time for subscription.

Why then does the government keep borrowing if the economy is supposedly doing well?

It honestly doesn’t make sense anymore.
Everywhere you look, the headlines say “record profits”, “billions in revenue”, “economic growth on track.” ...Yet, the government keeps borrowing; billions upon billions; and the average citizen still can’t feel any real impact.

If the country is truly making money, why the constant loans? Why does every budget cycle come with another round of debt, despite all the talk about progress and prosperity?

On paper, every sector seems to be “recording massive profits,” but the reality on the ground says otherwise. Prices keep rising, infrastructure remains poor, and the common man is just trying to survive.

It’s hard not to feel like the whole thing is just propaganda. Numbers and press releases meant to keep supporters celebrating, while nothing changes for the rest of us.

At this point, I feel it's save to conclude that our leaders are managing statistics, not lives.
