Politics / Re: Niger Retailers, Residents To Bago: Move Against Kano, Lagos, Ibadan Traders by Nbote(m): 12:36pm On Feb 15 |
The government will soon start shifting the blame to Nigerians as being responsible for the inflation and the next thing their foot soldiers will do is to begin to target and loot businesses. The slowpoke who posted this topic have been trying to imply that the inflation and rising cost of commodities are man made and an attempt to sabotage without having any idea or clue how businesses run. If the people in the local market can't afford the commodities, should the farmer lose his sweat and hardwork by not selling to people taking it to other parts?? 10 Likes 2 Shares |
Politics / Re: Niger Retailers, Residents To Bago: Move Against Kano, Lagos, Ibadan Traders by Nbote(m): 12:26pm On Feb 15 |
Cluelessness of leadership. They have all been silent as Bandits ransacked villages. So many local governments in Niger State are presently under the control of these bandits. Farmers in those areas now pay heavy taxes to them to continue to farming activities. THE SOONER THEY REALISE THE PRICE INCREASES AND INFLATION ARE DUE TO THE BANDITRY AND INSECURITY, THE BETTER FOR THEM 18 Likes |
Politics / Re: UK Economy Enters Recession by Nbote(m): 12:25pm On Feb 15 |
seunmsg: Ordinarily I don't expect any logical or intellectual contribution from your likes and you in particular. The UK announced a recession when their economy shrank by 1 and then 0.3 but somehow inflation is at 4% with service inflation around 6%. That has also seen a rise in wage inflation. But currently in Nigeria the government claims inflation is around 29%, despite prices of commodities and services experiencing over 100% increase with absolutely no wage increase? I don't expect you to see how inconsistent the government figures are with your eyes closed. The fact that they are already ringing the alarms with those figures while the likes of you and the government keep lying to yourselves and others on how there's no cause for alarm says alot. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Food / Re: Hardship: FG Moves To Regulate Food Prices by Nbote(m): 3:58pm On Feb 14 |
The cluelessness of this government is becoming really really embarassing.. You increased fuel prices while claiming to remove subsidy, floated the naira (as they claimed) and increased import duties which have been readjusted twice in recent weeks, insecurity won't allow farmers farm and the ones that are farming have to pay heavy taxes to the bandits and yet somehow expect prices to remain the same?? And now you are trying to sell the narrative that individuals hoarding products are responsible for the inflation 82 Likes 7 Shares |
