So I was one of the very first people to download the Enaira app when it first hit the play store.

I was madly interested in the project right from the onset though I had very little understanding of the app or its major purpose.

But I was really disappointed the very first time I downloaded it. I couldn't register because the app request that you must have an email address linked to your BVN which I didn't have.

I guess I was not the only one affected as thousands of people complained about the same thing.

Well CBN actually heed to these complaints (not like they have a choice though) and the issues have been resolved.

Today I thought I'd give the app a try and i was quite blown away. The sign up process was a breeze and in less than 1-2 minutes I was done.

(A good lesson to developers here, make your on boarding process as easy as possible because sign up can make or destroy your business).

The app interface is very clean. I guess this is important since the app is targeted at everyone including old men and women.

The feature is very basic. You can send money or recieve money directly into your bank account.

All you have to do is scan a QR code or generate a QR code to get paid. When generating the QR code, you can set the amount to be paid if you wish.

I think this is the real cashless deal. And one market women and men will love.

Side thought: enaira is your regular bank account but it makes it easier for everyone to use. Even a grandma can get it working with just one explanation.

Another side note: This is a big problem for Abeg app. Abeg is an over beautify and feature rich enaira app.

So what will now happen to abeg app, because obviously, I don't think they can compete with enaira. Besides Enaira is too easy to use and with time, I think most people will start dumping even regular bank transfer for it.
