These attacks in the region started AFTER Buharis’ emergence in 2015, AND HAS CONTINUED TO THIS DAY! Mazi Kanu repeatedly complained about these attacks in his broadcasts, but no proactive or reactive action was taken either by the Fulani president of the time or the useless south-east governors! Mazi Kanu warned that if nothing was done to stop these attacks by outsiders to the region that IPOB would be forced to form their own vigilante force, and true to his word, ESN was formed to confront those bastards and the the work the army, DSS and police were either unwilling or unable to do! Ikonso was one of the commanders of the vigilante force, and ESN under his command were confronting the sahelian vermin in the forests of Orlu and other parts of Imo and were recording successes! Remember at the time all Fulani herdsmen were warned to vacate all our forests in the south-east…they were given ample opportunity to leave, but they refused because the scum had their own bloody agenda in the region! Now it was as this battle between the forces of good and evil raged on, and the Fulani/sahelian invaders were being sent to meet their maker, that the army was invited into the fray by no other than the supreme court governor himself! ESN was eventually overwhelmed by the Fulani army of Nigeria…Ikonso was murdered by them, and the revisionism and demonisation of his person and ESN began!

It bears repeating that Mazi Kanu and IPOB existed long before the arrival of Buhari in 2015, and there was relative peace and no senseless high-profile murders in the south-east even as they continued their agitation for secession (a agitation which i wholeheartedly support)! Only a naive person will not see the link between the arrival of Buhari and the arrival of insecurity in the south-east! And that insecurity has persisted to this day showing the Buhari/Tinubu alliance is no idle assertion without basis!
