What will happen to what Uzodinma is building in his home area after he leaves office?

Bola Tinubu knows what can be made to change Nigeria for better. Tinubu crisscrossed the SW region for more than 15 yearsasking for political restructuring of Nigeria to fiscal and true federation. He knows that is the only way to change Nigeria for better.
But now that Tinubu is president and in control of proceeds from crude oil in the Niger delta region, who has heard Tinubu talk about political restructuring of Nigeria?

Tinubu is one of those southern politicians who understand that the political structure of Nigeria created by northern military dictators is a huge fraud against the southern regions.

Befitting state capital is what was coined in Imo state by people from Owerri to confuse the usually poorly educated governors from Orlu senatorial district to abandon every place in Imo state but build only in Owerri for a befitting capital city. Befitting capital is a fraudulent terminology in use only in Imo state.
Okorocha said he was building a befitting capital city in Owerri. Hope Uzodinma came and promised similar thing that he is building Owerri to designer's delight. No other towns in Imo state today outside Owerri is worth settling down to live or do business.

Truth is that Owerri only is the habitable place in Imo state. Orlu has been destroyed by Uzodinma government's clandestine and open hostilities to Orlu since 2020. All govt establishments - from teaching hospital to Nursing School to Polytechnic campus to High Court- in Orlu have been closed by Uzodinma who relocates them to his village Omuma in OruEast local government Council area. Okigwe still remains with the little development it gained during Okorocha government.

300 Student nurses in 400 level are facing denial by the University which admitted them. Gov Hope Uzodinma had since refused to go for accreditation for Imo state University teaching hospital Orlu where the students nurses are based. It's part of Uzodinma government's now unhidden policy to send Orlu many decades backward. Uzodinma sees political foes in Orlu Municipal LGA where the state university teaching hospital is located.

The 400 Level rusticated students sought assistance and intervention to address what they perceive as an unjust decision by the university's management. They urged the government to investigate the matter thoroughly and ensure that their rights as students are upheld.

The protest highlights the frustration and anxiety faced by the affected nursing students, who find themselves in jeopardy of being denied the opportunity to complete their studies and pursue their chosen careers. It underscores broader concerns about transparency and fairness in admission processes within Nigerian universities, as well as the need for robust mechanisms to protect the rights of students and prevent arbitrary actions by academic institutions.

As the protest continues to draw attention and support, stakeholders are hopeful that swift action will be taken to address the grievances of the students and restore confidence in the integrity of the academic system. Meanwhile, the Imo State University administration is yet to issue a formal response to the allegations, raising anticipation for further developments in the coming days.

On this Aba-PH narrow gauge railway, it will take far much longer, than going to Lagos-Ibadan on the standard gauge railway. They don't want uniformity in the one Nigeria they crave more than the Romans craved the Roman empire. How can a country be having different railway gauges? That means trains in one side of the country cannot travel to other side of the country. What other countries does that obtain?

Every election in Imo state, crooks from Orlu zone gather under one Orlu zone association or the other to ask for support from Orlu wu eze. When they get power, they return to the state capital where they live, do all govt development in the capital territory where they scramble for lands, acquire lands in the most rural areas in Owerri zone, use federal allocations of the 27 LGAs to build roads unto the lands they bought. Rest of Imo state outside the capital territory stink with no modern development infrastructures.
These mafia groups misusing the name of Orlu zone to gain power are on land speculations in the capital territory. They started the business when they served Ohakim govt. They are also steering Uzodinma's govt .
They are steering Uzodinma to hand over to a person they can manipulate after Uzodinma.

Orlu zone has been ruling Imo State for decades now, but all their governors site key projects in Owerri. Some imolites from that zone have taken it upon themselves to curse them on Nairaland every day. They'll arrive this thread soon 😂😂😂😂😂

Okorocha and Uzodinma both share one trait which made them site key projects in Owerri zone: both have axe to grind against some unseen enemies from the principal city in Orlu zone - Orlu Municipal LGA. But Okorocha was more forgiving for his perceived enemies here. Uzodinma is like he planned to become governor to return Orlu to the dark ages.
Since Okorocha left office, infrastructures in his Ideato area have deteriorated, even gone worse than before he became governor.
Uzodinma's Omuma is not exempt when he leaves office. Both cheated nature as governor. Only a mugu who can't look beyond the nose would seek to set a city many years backward because he has an axe to grind against one or two individuals in the city.

First reality is that the highway has antipathy to the SE as foundation; if not, no saner person would go to build on marshy water terrain that cannot be easy to build and maintain, but avoid a more profitable Lagos-Benin-Onitsha-Portharcourt-Calabar superhighway on solid land terrain.
Second reality is that embezzlement of public funds is encoded in the project.
Third reality is that the highway passes through fewer population centres, it's merely aimed at exploitation in taking the oil and gas resources in the Niger delta region to Lagos.

Go to Imo state, whole Ideato and parts of Orlu are being washed away by flood and erosion, no road. Human beings have been carried away and drowned by floods in these parts of Imo state. All cries to Hope Uzodinma for rescue amounted to nothing. He is governing state capital and his local government area.
